"This is possibly the worst Indo Chinese food I have ever had in the US. The Manchow Soup, whether vegetarian or chicken, is basically just a soup of red chilies that is extremely hot and spicy with no vegetables or noodles. Eating this soup will almost certainly give anyone diarrhea. The Golden Chili Baby Corn is also disappointing, as it is only made with red chili paste and the baby corn is very hard, lacking in flavor and tasting only like chili. I ordered Chicken Noodles or Schezwan, but received fried rice that was excessively spicy with only chili flakes and chicken that tasted old and stale. I feel like my $50 was completely wasted. Despite its high ratings, this restaurant serves the worst Indo Chinese food. I will never order from here again and will not be returning. They are simply taking advantage of people with their poor quality and truly unhealthy food."

"I recently had an extremely frustrating experience at this Restaurant, which I feel compelled to share. The incident highlighted a severe lack of management skills and poor communication within the establishment, resulting in a significant waste of my time and an overall disappointing take-out experience.I placed an order for pickup from uber eats, and the restaurant notified me that my order was ready for collection. Excitedly, I made my way to the restaurant, only to be met with a bewildering statement from the manager. After arrival, they informed me that my order would actually take an additional 20-25 minutes to prepare. This sudden change in the estimated waiting time left me feeling frustrated and annoyed.The primary issue here lies in the poor management and miscommunication within Paratha Junction. It is essential for a well-run establishment to have an efficient system in place that accurately communicates the status of orders to customers. In this case, not only did the restaurant fail to provide an accurate estimate initially, but they also failed to update me promptly when they realized the delay.I would give a negative rating cause of this poor management."

"a beautiful restaurant. not full, but the service was a little slow. but everyone was super friendly. eating was good, but there is an Indian restaurant in the opposite where we live (muyuri indian bistro,) that I feel is more attractive to our palate. therefore I cannot call this the best Indian restaurant in connecticut. not at all. "Very disappointed with the customer service I was given by one of the ladies who works there . She was very rude and disrespectful to me . There was a miscommunication on there end regarding something I had ordered . I never said anything to them except told them I they gave me something else than what I ordered. The lady came to me and confronted me and accusing me of something I didn’t say . It’s on their end they had a miscommunication. I am really disappointed at the way I was treated so disrespectfully. I really liked their food but very sad and disappointed on how I was treated . She should be trained on how to talk to a customer and how to treat a paying customer."

"Tried this for the first time today. After a long night and craving some tasty Indian food, we found out our usual place was closed. This is much closer and I am so glad we tried it! I was looking for something similar to this stuffed eggplant dish I get and this was similar, and very very good. Comes with yogurt sauce on this side. Good size portion. Chicken Dum Biryani $16.95 Spicy $0.25 HEFTY!! Great for the price. The chicken is bone on, but that so it adds flavor. The spice is right for sure! I would say this is like Indian fried rice . Lots of flavor lots of stuff really really good. I chose the spiciest version and it 's the perfect amount of heat if you like spicy. A little too hot for him, but I really enjoyed it. Saag Aloo curry ALU $17.95 Medium $0.00 By far my favorite. Yes it 's green, but if you like spinach and potatoes, you 're gonna love it. Good portion here as well. Aloo Kale Tikki 3 Pcs $6.95 I wasn 't the biggest fan of these. They are sweet in flavor. My boyfriend really liked them. They 're little potato and kale patties with a type of chutney esque sauce on top. You get three to an order, which is a little up there. We did a take out order, and picked it up. Inside was nice and smelled great. You can sit down or take out, there are servers if you want to dine in. The owner who gave us our order was extremely personable and helpful! I think we found another great Indian spot! The only downside is that it 's more expensive than our usual place. It is also odd that they charge more for spice level, but we did like it a lot. I know that this type of cuisine takes an eternity to make, and there are a lot of ingredients but it is certainly up there price wise."

"As far as Indian cuisine eatery goes, it's alright. It's not quite what you would expect in a true British Indian, but not bad for the US. Food was average to good, my lamb rogan josh was actually very tasty, not spicy but tasty. However, my wife's vegetable curry was too bland, no spicy or heat in it whatsoever! Would I go back, not really. If I was dragged along by some friends, I would happily join too though."

"Took a guest over the weekend, am disappointed to have gone here. Only one type of Roti bread, only chicken for meat every other place I see Two varieties of nonveg chicken and goat or fish and food taste was average, not the Akbar food that I experienced much earlier. Many other places give a much much larger spread, more so on a weekend. Silver lining is that there were few customers that meant no wait time like at other restaurants"

"What can I say about food that is served from the heart, no adjective can do justice, we were visiting Denver for fall break and found this little gem, we were so glad we found such authentic Indian fare in Denver that we visited this place every single day we were there. We had barota kurma which was a flavor bomb, we had it multiple times, we also tried the potato fry, okra kaara kuzhambu and a humongous chicken sukka and Navratan kurma.I cannot fault them in any way, so very flavorsome, the servings were so generous and served with passion. The service was great too. If you live in Denver or if you are passing by, do visit this place, you will definitely go again and again. This is a gem that cannot be missed. We hope to come again sometime soon..."

"buyer intention! not allergy friendly! we ordered us yesterday by door dash and was wasted $40 on eating that was indelible. my family has a milk allergy and I clearly demand in my order that every product gluten-free, vegan and mild. when I got the order, I thought it looked suspicious, so I called to check and safe enough these dishes included milk! also the fertile piclau was ice cold as if they forget to heat the dish before they send (which also means that they probably microwave to go food in styrofoam first I thought the fertile piclau should be served chilled, but the keerl on the phone nandu confirmed that it should have been heated and also confirmed that despite my requirements contain more milk. he was quite abrupt and has not apologized or offered to correct any of the mistakes. as if he just wanted me from the phone and it didn't matter that they ruined our dinner, wasted our money and made my family very sick by including milk in our food, despite the notes on the order. that a dish that allegedly contained no milk was the mushroom mother, but even this was disappointing when the veggies tasted as they came out of doses and it was very spicy for a court that was asked mildly. so many problems with this order, makes me wonder everything about this restaurant. if they are not careful with preparation of food, how cautious are they when they clean and sanitate their kitchen? I'm completely dissatisfied with eating and customer service. I was not offered a refund or a refund or even an apology! such a frustrating experience and a total waste of time and money."

"A new favorite Indian Restaurant in San Rafael. Truly excellent and decent portions of Asian Indian foods. Located in what was the Orgazma Pizza place, that closed a year or two ago. To us it was such a dirty place that we only went when the grandchildren were younger. In talking to the new owner of Lotus, I mentioned the location and he agreed that it was so bad that they gutted the interior and totally rebuilt the current, very classy and beautiful, award winning Lotus Indian Cuisine of India. The menu is extensive with many options in each category and all food is prepared when ordered so you are getting a fresh meal every time rather than coming from a previously cooked batch. The menu has descriptions of each offering, so you do not have to be an Asian Indian to understand what you are ordering. A lot of neat appetizers. I think I would like to nosh my way through a meal with friends consisting of appetizers! Likewise, lots of Indian breads. And we liked that you could order a selection of three to sample them. Curries: vegetarian, chicken, seafood, lamb and goat. Don't be afraid of goat as it is quite good in any of the rich curry gravies. Ditto lamb. Try. Clay Pit Oven baked Tandoorie selections and there are the rice Biriyani dishes. Also, Indian desserts and an array of non alcoholic beverages which include the heat reducing, delicious Lassis. A daily lunch buffett is offered from 11am 2pm. And take out is a regular part of their business. You can order, for an up charge, organic chicken and gluten free items. Ask your wait person. An excellent date place and they can do parties. We are so happy to see them in San Rafael. You will be happy also, when you experience the ambiance and excellent dishes."

"While the ambiance might not be the most impressive, the food more than makes up for it. The biryanis are exceptional, particularly the Gongura chicken and Hyderabadi lamb dum biryani. Additionally, the portion sizes for the price are quite generous. They offer a family size, but ordering two regular biryanis will definitely be enough for a family of four. The only downside was the Mirchi Salan, which was too watery instead of the rich and nutty flavor it should have. However, the robust flavors of the biryanis truly stood out."

"Ambrosia is about as good and Indian cuisine that you could ask for in this vicinity. The Garlic Naan is super buttery. The Samosas are large and flavorful. The Butter Chicken is a really sweet treat. I had the Traditional Curry Lamb which had a wonderful sauce, however I found the meat especially though. Service is super attentive and very helpful too. I recommend checking it out."

"I love their food, but it doesn’t like me, so we only order once in a while. Something in Indian Food I am allergic to??? We used to order from them a LOT, but now I know I cannot, so it is a treat when we do (with me eating it in very small portion size( I remember eating at this place years ago when they served their food on paper plates and the tables were lined up like a high school cafeteria! I was not impressed with the feel of the place or the food at that time. Now they remodeled it and it is beautiful and of course we cannot experience eating inside because of Covid. "I highly recommend this restaurant for their quality of service and delicious curries. The staff paid close attention to our needs and recommended dishes when we were unsure what to order from their extensive menu. The downstairs seating area is spacious, with a small outdoor dining area as well. The goat curry was perfectly cooked, with tender meat and a non-greasy curry. The chicken curry had well-cooked chicken and the right balance of spices. I appreciated having chapatis as an option for bread, which is not common in many Indian restaurants. The restaurant has a homely feel. The only downside was that I wasn't a big fan of their momos, as they lacked flavor."
