"AVOID KFC in SALEM AT ALL COSTS! I placed an online order for an 8-piece meal, but when I got it home, I discovered that part of my order was incorrect. I returned to the restaurant to explain the situation and request an exchange. However, the staff insisted that my order was correct and, with a condescending and snarky attitude, claimed that they couldn’t exchange it since I had already left the building with it. When I inquired about this policy, the staff member simply stated it was company policy.
I apologized for any inconvenience I may have caused and reiterated my request for an exchange, trying to remain polite and cordial. Unfortunately, the staff member continued to exhibit an unprofessional and rude demeanor. When I expressed my dissatisfaction with his tone, he shockingly replied, "If you want attitude, I can just throw you out of here right now!"
I then asked to speak to a manager, only to find out that he was the manager. I requested the name and contact information for his supervisor, but he only provided me with a name and no contact details, claiming he didn't have a phone number or email address available.
This experience was unacceptable, and it’s clear that the current management staff needs to be replaced. If this is how KFC in Salem treats its customers, then I strongly recommend avoiding this location at all costs. I know I will never return! I would give it zero stars if that were an option!"
