"Delicious dinner @atlanticfishbos • Whole Branzino $44 (9/10) • Crab queso special $28 (9/10) • Chowder Cup $10 (9/10) • Lobster Ravioli $42 (7/10) • Crab cake side $9 (9/10) • Sangria $18 (8/10) • Old Fashioned $18 (8/10) We strolled in on a Tuesday night without a reservation right before 5pm they were able to squeeze us in. Karina, our waitress, was amazing after hearing our chatter around appetizers she tempted us with the crab queso, which was divine. The only thing I did not love was the lobster ravioli, I just wish the dish had a bit more flavor. Overall great experience, highly recommend when in the Boston area."

"Our group of five, all from out of town and ethnically diverse, had a disappointing experience at High Cotton. While the she-crab soup and appetizers were promising, the meal took a turn quickly. The swordfish, which our waitress recommended as the catch of the day, was dry and overcooked. We would have addressed this if given the chance, but our waitress didn’t return to check on us in a timely manner. We were also disheartened by the service from the lead manager, an older gentleman with slicked-back blonde hair. He barely acknowledged our table and was noticeably more attentive to a large group of older white diners nearby. This disparity in service made us feel neglected and undervalued. For a meal costing $100 per head, we expected a far superior experience. Our visit fell short of the high standards we anticipated, and we hope High Cotton takes this feedback seriously to ensure all guests (regardless of their background) receive equal and respectful service."

"This restaurant is amazing ! All dishes are perfectly prepared and beautifully crafted. Atmosphere is the best ! vibrant and lively. Service is seriously one of the best in Dallas !. Now, you ask why the 3 stars? this establishment deserves 5 stars and I would agree but the reason for the 3 stars and most likely not going back (we really would love to go back) is the sommelier !!. When we got seated the extremely nice and friendly hostess offer us utilizing the restaurant's sommelier. I was hesitant but my wife was excited for the sommelier's expert recommendations. I really wish we didn't ask for him. Not only he showed up with zero enthusiasm but also very limited knowledge. It is very clear that he really didn't want to be there. Also from the short conversation we had with him he didn't try to be less arrogant portraying the stereotypical image of a wine snob."

"We love going to Nobu and have had a great time each visit. This past visit was disappointing. We felt very rushed and forced to order by our server. All of our food came out at the same time instead of properly spaced out like we are used to. If there is a record of who our server was we would like to request not having him again. We love Nobu and will definitely be back. Last night’s experience was just disappointing."

"It was our second time going, to be honest, the first time food was great, however service was the worst. Really need to tell all the people how follow me! 100% one of the best places we have eaten at! The service was on point! The food was to die for! The drinks also great! Yes this is the real deal!"

"Fantastic dinner with beyond excellent service from Kevin and Diego. We had three apps: steak bruschetta, Who Dat shrimp, and the crab cake. The tomatoes on the bruschetta were a bit bitter but the rest were awesome, especially the crab cake. Lobster bisque and French onion soup were awesome. The lamb chops are absolutely the best I have ever had. The flaming mojito glaze that tops the lamb chops makes for quite a presentation and is delicious. Desserts, peanut butter pie and crepe brûlée were delicious. We were allowed to have an unhurried meal of superb food accompanied by the best service."

"An excellent purveyor of Japanese Malaysian) treats. They also have an excellent assortment of Japanese sake. I most often order the toro tartar but on my visit the other day, I tried the yuzu tuna. The cubed and lightly dressed tuna also scallions, roe and sesame seeds) was on a bed of greens in a heart shaped wall of thinly sliced avocado in a yuzu ponzu sauce. I am generally a bit prejudiced about avocado in sushi/sashimi but have to admit this was a very flavorful appetizer. I include a photo of the Toro Tartar and the Black Pepper Tuna appetizers and the Ten Zaru. One of the delicacies available from the sushi bar is botan ebi. The raw large shrimp is accompanied by the fried head. A rare delight. Another photo of a pair of botan ebi attractively arranged on a bamboo design plate. The agedashi tofu appetizer. The hamachi kama yellow tail collar bone) is a delicious accompaniment to cold sake. There are morsels of lightly grilled fish in the channels of the bones. I recently ordered a maguro, chutoro, otoro combination. A delicious tour of tuna flavors. The oshinko Japanese pickles) are a great accompaniment to cold nihonshu. A feast for the eye as well as the mouth."

"We have been here a few times before, with a group and with just a couple of friends and have never been disappointed. It's a beautiful restaurant inside and a fun bar/patio on the outside with live music. The food is very well prepared and fantastic. The salad is huge and so delicious with hidden potato salad underneath, a lovely surprise. Steak and seafood are cooked to perfection. I cannot even describe the portabello mushroom appetizer Amazing! Service was friendly and professional. Valet parking. We highly recommend this restaurant."

"Food was excellent, however service was lacking. We were there hours due to slow service. For the money the service should have been more attentive. The women’s bathroom was in need of service and no toilet paper which is disappointing for this price point"

"Food was terrible. Do not order steak. They broil frozen steaks serve overdone. I ordered 8 Oz filet it was like a stone on my plate tough, dry awful. I had two bites could not eat. I didn't complain because it was birthday celebration and didn't want spoil the night. The waitress clearly noticed I wasn't eating never asked why or how steak was. She knew. If you like stone crabs Trulux is ok. Do not order steak. Aspargus was not edible. Tough skinny. Atmosphere was just OK. Old dated not clean. Tears on booth seats. It's gone downward."

"I love the food here! The atmosphere is not really my thing (kind of bougie) but the food is fantastic. The guacamole they make at your table is the best I have ever had (be sure to tip the person who makes it). I also got the ahi caesar salad which is my favorite thing on the menu. The ahi has such great cajun flavor. It's amazing. The service has always been good. I have always sat in the bar (first come/first served tables). Kind of pricey but the food is definitely worth it!"

"We normally love this place, it is great for a party of 2-4 , however anything more and the service is terrible and so is the food. We made a reservation in advance for a party of 16. It took 3 hours to get our food and when they brought it out they brought it out in pieces. Some of our party got only their entree, some of our party only got their sides and then some received nothing, then 15 20 min later... some of us received the other part of our dinner , while some in our party were still missing sides and one never got anything. I don't mind waiting but when we saw other parties come and go, then more come and go, we felt that our party was just being over looked. The food was not even hot , just barely warm, ... This was just a bad experience. When we asked to speak with a manager , he had more of the bouncer type mentality, he was not apologetic, we we not even asking for a refund or anything, we just wanted to express our unhappiness with the service and quality of the meal, and he was very intrusive, he was standing over us as to intimidate us verses truly caring about our experience. We usually go every year, and we have had poor service before but not like this, the service was so bad this time We are finally done with this place!!!!!"

"Good, but not perfect. Strong food, especially when sticking to the chop house basics like crab cakes, steaks, etc. Things can begin to go off the rails when the kitchen wants to be more creative. While one applauds them for trying to stretch their wings, it really would be better for them to stick with what they know--classic seafood and chop house fare. Environment is nice and classy without being overbearing and stuffy. It is never too noisy. Service can be a little uneven and unpolished for this price point. You would expect a little more personal touch and polished professionalism for these prices. Prices are what you would expect at the Philly original, not provincial Richmond....read more"

"One of the best steaks I've ever had. Perfectly cooked to order and quite reasonably priced compared to other similar restaurants. Lesser rating for service was for the sour bartender who gives impressions he hates waiting on people.. perhaps a different occupation choice is warranted! All other staff were friendly helpful and terrific! Beautiful views of the grounds from plentiful windows. "The restaurant is usually packed every time we drive by. Hey! we should go there and try it out was our thought on this evening. So we did. The ambiance of the restaurant was great. There was music playing throughout the restaurant at a noise level that you can easily converse without feeling like you are yelling over the music. We were seated promptly at the time of our reservation. The hostess seated us with food menus however she just laid down the bar menu without an explanation as to what they were. Our server was prompt and brought out our food in a timely fashion. My food was terrible while my guest food was okay . The dish I ordered was the Cajun chicken/sausage/shrimp pasta. The chicken in my dish was not freshly grilled seasoned chicken nor was the shrimp. The chicken I was served tasted like it was boiled three days ago frozen and reheated without seasoning, just bland, tough, and rubbery. The entire dish was drowning in sweet Ragu sauce. There was no smokey Cajun spice to the dish at all. To add insult the dish was garnished with Texas toast, not homemade herb buttered Texas toast but the kind you get from Walmart in a box from the freezer isle. A huge thumbs down. Why they didn 't use the fresh sliced french baguette that was brought to the table while we waited for our food as the bread for the garlic bread blows my mind. I would recommend the most basic Cajun spice recipe 1 part cayenne pepper, 1 part garlic powder, 1 part onion powder, 1 part paprika, 1 part salt, 1 part pepper, pinch of chili powder for smoke flavor, mix together and season meat and sauce liberally) and a fresh garlic spread recipe minced garlic, butter, italian seasoning, salt and pepper-mix in a bowl and spread on the bread- toast for 4-7 minutes) Instead of Ragu sauce use heavy cream, a dollop of tomato paste and chicken broth for the sauce. I should have cook at home this night! We wont be back."

"My husband and I had a wonderful time at this restaurant when I took my mother out for her birthday dinner. The wings were some of the best I've had in a long time—savory and juicy, without needing any sauce on the side. My husband loved his chopped salad with grilled chicken, and I was really pleased with my new salad, also featuring grilled chicken. Our waitress, Stephanie, was very attentive and surprised my mother-in-law with a slice of cheesecake topped with a candle. The restaurant had a cozy atmosphere with a relaxed decor. We will definitely be returning!"

"This is my second time here. I came back after having the truffle pasta. It was so good I had to try more items on the menu. This time I got the swordfish carpaccio, the pasta alla carbonara and then the tiramisu for dessert. I had a chianti to drink. Overall fantastic. The swordfish: some bites were a little fishy, but most were not. Heated slices of fish and still a little rare. Flavors were delicate and delightful. Would get again. Pasta again was divine. Perfectly cooked pasta with the perfect bite and chew. I loved the guanciale in place of pancetta. Sooo much better. And no peas. I much prefer it this way! I overheard someone at the next table who had ordered the dish say the pepper was too much for her. I completely disagree with her. Pepper is one of the main ingredients in this dish and therefore should stand out. I don't love pepper and I thought the seasoning was en pointe. Tiramisu was heavenly. Can't go wrong with carbs and cream. I had the same waiter as last time. I love him. Very pleasant and attentive. The place is busy but staff is always available to assist"

"This was the quietest dinner I have ever had here. Man, do I love Covid rules. I had the filet mignon oscar style with the mashed potatoes. The filet was delicious, and my side of chimichurri was amazing. The potatoes were dry and lacked flavor though. Pretty disappointed with those. My friend go the sirloin and thoroughly enjoyed that along with his side of asparagus. We also tried the French onion soup, which was also extremely good. He bad a beer whose name I have forgotten and I had two rounds of Pims cup. Over all, a solid dinner."
