"We attended the Four Roses Bourbon 5 course dinner. It was our first food experience at the Grove as we’ve only attended comedy shows in the past. What a lovely evening!! It started with an Old Fashioned with a beautiful rose ice cube then a presentation from Four Roses providing the history of the bourbon along with a delicious bourbon flight. The food was beautifully presented with delicious flavors in each course. The wait staff and the ladies at the welcome desk were so friendly and professional. The chef also came out to present each course with a description of what went into each dish behind the scenes. He also offered a tour of their kitchen. We can’t say enough good things about our experience. We will definitely be back! Thank you for a wonderful event!!!"

"We were able to sit outside last night for a lovely meal with Jeff as our wait staff person. He’s always very kind and efficient with a good sense of humor. He’s helped us a few times before and service is always impeccable. The chicken wings and ahi tuna appetizers were delicious along with our blackened salmon entrées and the spicy prawns. The restaurant noise levels can be very loud at times especially when there are large parties so being able to dine outside with lovely friends and weather was a treat. And the inside noise level has never stopped us from returning to one of our go-to restaurants in Albany. As always, a delightful experience!"

"My gf and I just ate at this restaurant and the customer service we received from Silvia was lackluster at best. The moment we walked in her energy wasn’t inviting and she was the greeter. Once my gf received her salad she noticed the amount of fish she received was smaller than usual. We’ve eaten here plenty of times, so she brought it up to our waiter who relayed the message to his manager Silvia. Silvia came out to address our concern, but my gf felt as if Silvia was brushing her off and didn’t seem to care about what she had to say. I watched this lady’s body language and her facial expression the entire time and I interpreted it as “you can hurry up now because I really don’t care”. We were not rude even after she acted insensitive and insincere. I ended up speaking to her one on one to voice my concern, but she only deflected by saying “I’m sorry she felt this way.” Based on the reviews I just read, my observation of this lady was correct. I’m a military veteran who happen to be Black. My gf is also Black and she gives so much back to Decatur and the kids as a boxing instructor. I cannot imply she’s racist, but I’ve read several reviews by previous Black customers that stated she came off as racist. I will no longer support this business."

"First time patrons of Gram Dun during Restaurant Week 2023. Reviews and a recommendation from a friend led me to order Burnt End Mac Cheese. The meat consisted of mostly burnt fat. The mac and cheese was fair, but hardly worth the price. The touch of bbq sauce drizzled on top didn't pair well with the rest of the dish. My dining companions seemed to enjoy the featured Steak Sandwich. The best part of the meal was a basket of Not-So-Standard Potato Chips, which was $12 additional."

"I might be bias being from the east coast but the drag brunch was just ehhh. It wasn't very exciting and depending on where you sit you don't see much. The performances are cute but they're don't really preforming just lip singing and collecting money. It's not really a show just waiting the ladies dress and pick up ones. There's not a whole bunch of excitement to it honestly but once again I'm use to NY type brunches. And if you're in the back just don't even think you're apart of it anymore"

"After what feels like years of saying we'd give this a try we finally made it to Fleetwood and we were pleasantly surprised. Don't let the old converted motor lodge fool you. The moment you step into the restaurant you'll feel a much more contemporary almost urban ambiance. We've eaten here twice now and both time the food was excellent. Simple, shareable and delicious. We've had some incredible salads and both pizza's we've ordered were fantastic. The service has been great, pleasant and not overly in your face. All in all a nice casual spot to grab a meal in Calistoga. Our only complaint, the hours. We've wanted to come several times but not opening until 5pm can be limiting, particularly for a spot that does pizza's. We'd love to be able to come more for apps and a quick bite after a day of wine tasting."

"The food was really good. One of us had the lobster roll and it tasted fresh. The lobster pieces were huge and the seasoning was just right. I appreciated that the menu was clearly marked with gluten free options but found it strange that none of the main dishes had gf options. The server seemed to know a little bit about it but didn’t really make an effort to check if there were substitutions. We also had the frozeeé which was pretty strong and delicious. The porch was nice but I wouldn’t go out of my way to go there again"

"absolutely disappointing! it is not our first time there, but the service was running in the time absolutely negligent, the last 3 times it was just falling, and after this visit I will not go again. reservation for 8pm, sitting around 8.04, cooking showed up to start cooking at 9.10pm an hour we sit only hungry and watch as all the other tables are served. some came after us, but got chef before us. I must say that we could not eat with the time that started “show”. complained to the server, she offered to call manager. manager came, young girl, I don't believe any training at all, because instead of apologising for inconvenience, she tried to convince me that this is regularly Hibachi experience: 1 hour waiting and 20 minutes cooking without show, because our time at the table is almost up. No, that's not a good experience, and it's not regular for hibachi, and there are a lot of places that do it better. I wouldn't recommend this place, they were good, but not anymore."

"We visited this restaurant on a Monday evening and found it to be not very crowded. Looking back, we should have requested outdoor seating as it was a beautiful evening in San Francisco. The service was attentive and top-notch. The decor and ambiance were very pleasing. It's the type of place where people tend to dress up a bit, but you can also feel comfortable in nice jeans and a collared shirt. While the food was decent, we found that the flavors were somewhat lacking and a bit bland. The side dishes were tasty, but the options were limited."

"A delightful little discovery, admittedly abetted by a write up in Eater that helped us find our way here. Open and airy, with a quick order counter up front and dine in options occupying the balance of the space, we could immediately tell this is a place full of regulars, with specific coffee and pastry orders. On a casual, early Sunday morning, service was alternately quick and slow, but mostly amusing. Our water was enthusiastic although might have been caught off guard for some of our requests (didn’t quite get flat white vs. latte) but not enough to get upset. The options were many, and although we didn’t indulge in the boozy brunch option the bar looked healthy and well-stocked for another evening opportunity. Portions were healthy but not overwhelming and quite well-prepared and tasty. I look forward to a return encounter and nibbling across more of the menu."

"To start, the staff were great and very kind however this review will be based on overall experience. I waited to order for about 25 min before I asked to be helped. The experience was definitely not worth what I paid. For a full course meal , I expected the food (steak was dry, ravioli was missing some flavor) to be at least fairly good compared to what I paid for. Lastly, I received all my drinks during my last course and had to ask twice for water during my wait. Overall I could tell everyone around me were having the same experience and someone even asked to speak to management."

"we came to the Mother's Brunch, so it was a special occasion. we had 2 server, but none of them could help us. we sat 15 minutes before our greeting on our table and our drinks orders were accepted. they did not bring our supplements for all four of our meals, we had to ask several times. they finally brought them at the end of our meal when we were finished. not helpful. we had to wipe them every time we wanted to refill a glass of champagne and children. I understand it's a busy day, but they seemed no less personal. very disappointing for a special occasion. I will say the hostess took a family photo and gave us at the end of the meal that was a nice note."

"I normally don’t rate restaurants at all or poorly, but do feel like this one deserves a poor rating and I should give a heads up to the other diners. My family of 3 decided at the last minute to go out and this place had great ratings so we decided to try it. The food was average (eg the fish was really dry) and definitely not worth the price but in the end I felt this place was disingenuous. A) the server did not tell us about the special which came with two free drinks. That was ok since we ordered the more expensive ones but the server should have told us. In fairness though, he did give us a free dessert at the end to make up for that omission once I asked him about it. B) one of us ordered the octopus which the server said is $80 for two and we should expect roughly half for one potion. The actual on the bill was $62 C) they tacked on a $5 credit card fee without informing us ahead of time. Net Fair to say we won’t be going again. For the total we paid, going to Bulevar or ATX Cocina would have been MUCH better experience overall. By the way, we were wondering if their ratings are so high on yelp and OpenTable, how come there were only 5 6 tables occupied in a restaurant with 20 or so tables on a Saturday evening? Maybe this is why."

"Looks great and had the best reviews. Once in we were seated promptly. We watched three servers and what looked to be the manager all talking and standing around with one or two working. We waited for about 8-10 min to be helped by Annie. She was sweet and rushing around helping and getting orders. The manager brought her food to the sushi bar and sat to eat before we even got drinks. A customer even asked her “so your eating next to me and working?” Servers still just talking and checking their phones. Anyhow, food came out and great! Annie was killing it, by far the mover and shaker!! Thank you Annie for turning this experience around."

"Restaurant posted business hours until and takes reservations on openable near that time. After landing from a trip, we made a reservation for two at and where there before that. We were greeted with a “we are closedclosing” statement. We told them we had a reservation, so they sat us. Then, we were told kitchen closes at Really? Not long after they also told us they were closing the bar in case we wanted another round of drinks.I have two of my children working in restaurants, and we are very sensitive to their opinion of customers coming in right before, or just at, closing time. Hence we chose a restaurant we we had good minutes before closing, and were willing to order quickly.In my opinion, that is the restaurant’s management problem. Not the paying customers. If they really want to close and turn off the lights after cleaning up at they should close the doors one hour earlier. Certainly not take reservations just before Or, they at least could post “kitchen closes at bar service stops at etc”The food was “just ok”. For a restaurant of this category, I can only wonder if the food sonso quality was the result of kitchen not very happy?We still left a decent tip, my son wouldn’t have let me do otherwise even if justified... but frankly, this time they did not earn it"

"Very annoying experience. I have a really short layover here, and stopped by the bar to get some food really quick. The bartender ignored me and asked a man for his order first. I waited over 10 minutes for him to even acknowledge me. Then I waited 20 more minutes for the food, cool whatever. Then when I got the overpriced ridiculous food , I got to my room and realized it was not Buffalo wings (just fried wings) so I had to go back down so they could “toss them” .. but then they decided to “recook” them, ok cool, but that took another unnecessary 8 to 10 minutes. I’m losing out on precious sleep from this dumb restaurant. Maybe I’m just upset because I have to be up in exactly 8 hours and I have a 10 hour work day waiting for me tomorrow. Either way I won’t order from here the next time work brings me to this hotel."
