"We had lunch here, and it was sparkling clean! Fast, friendly, and fantastic customer service. We were offered lunch-size portions of our meals, which was perfect for us. "So we decided to go here over Don Jaun's because the last time we went to Don's I got Carne Asada Tacos and it really wasn't that good. So we decided to try this place because they had decent reviews. We got in and first off they put us right by the front door right where all the customers and waiters and waitresses are walking through. So the girl comes to take our drink orders she was really sweet and we also ordered a queso dip. While waiting for our app they bring chips and Salsa and the chips looked like they dumped the bottom of the bag into our basket. Then our app came out the queso was so runny we couldn't even scoop it up with any chips let alone the crumbles pieces we had it served better as beverage. So then another girl comes to take our order and she has her purse in her hand we were like where's our server? And I ordered the Rancheros and supposed to come with rice and beans and I got none of that just the 3 tortillas wrapped with meat that was it! We ordered my daughter 2 soft tacos and she only got 1. And her mother ordered Chimichanga with white sauce no red sauce and she got red sauce and said the food wasn't that good either she only ate 1 and no rice or anything else. Fortunately, my food was really good I just didn't get what I paid for no rice or beans so I wasn't happen at all! Then when it came time to pay there was nobody upfront to take mine and another customers payment. They stood there waiting about 10mins to pay and I waited about 8mins to pay. Overall it wasn't a great experience since we had like 3-4 waitresses we didn't get the food we ordered and just overall it's not enough to bring us back. I really don't think that management cares either because I looked at the reviews and not 1 reply from the owners or a manger from all their reviews and that shows they don't care. So save your time and your money and go somewhere else for a better experience. I don't recommend this place at all unless you want below subpar service and subpar food your better off going to Don Jauns less than 1\2 mile down the road. And we ended up spending about $43.00 and we left a 20% tip as well even though they didn't deserve it."

"Sorry, I ate my food before I could take pics. It's that good. My vegetarian peeps... I hate ordering fajitas and just get a plate of bland onions and bellpepers. Hands down best Toledo veggie fajitas with onion, peppers, zucchini, tomatoes it was just delicious and the sangria... have only one it will sneak up on you. The veggie chimichanga was ok but I didn't enjoy as much as the fajita. I always get the same waitress when I go and she's so friendly, cute and sweet so tip her well people! Enjoy"

"My husband and I visited Miami for a short two-night getaway and made a reservation at this wonderful restaurant. The service was outstanding, and the food was incredible! I ordered the Bife de chorizo (NY Strip), while my husband chose the ojo de bife (ribeye). Both steaks were cooked to perfection, and the brandy mushroom sauce was absolutely delicious! For dessert, we shared the dulce de leche molten cake paired with banana split ice cream, and it was simply divine! The meal brought back memories of our trip to Buenos Aires. I highly recommend this restaurant! Just be aware that a service charge is added at the end of the meal without prior notice."

"Talpa has been our go to Mexican restaurant for 40+ years. There 's a reason it 's survived the LA restaurant scene . Food is great; fresh, hot (heatwise) not just warmed up. Best guacamole just good avocados with no frills. Salsa is roasted and delicious. They 've added a full bar so you can have a margarita if you 'd like. We thought that after the long time owners sold it we 'd be disappointed, but not so. We are still loyal customers, coming back time after time for the great food and our favorite waitresses, Selina and Paula."

"At first glance, it might seem like just another typical Mexican restaurant, but this place has become a must-visit during our vacation. We had a 7-year-old with us who usually sticks to simpler foods, but he enjoyed their classic cheeseburger and even ventured out of his comfort zone by trying guacamole and chicken fajitas for the first time—and he actually liked them! "Soggy Burritos, I asked if they could give me burritos this time instead of a burrito soup and still received salty soggy mush. Im no burrito expert, but I kind of thought you eat burritos with your hands and not a spoon. Thought I got chips dip with them also, nope. Asked to add lettuce which I paid $1.25 extra for, nope. "Came back to Stone Soup after being away for the last 4 years and they did NOT disappoint. My friend and I have been stopping in almost once a week for the last month for lunch. We r greeted by the sweet Alex as our sever. She is wonderful, attentive and kind. She knows the menu and able to make almost any accommodations to our food. Their kitchen is consistent with food prep and it all has been delish! We r happy to be coming back here and trying everything on their menu. See u all next week!"

"I had a truly disappointing experience at this restaurant. Honestly, I believe my children could have prepared better meals than what we were served. It felt like a complete waste of both time and money. What troubled me even more was seeing the owner's young children playing in the kitchen, right next to hot pots and pans. That seemed incredibly unsafe, and I was shocked. The food was mediocre at best, but witnessing those kids in such a dangerous setting was even more concerning. I genuinely think this situation needs to be reported to the relevant authorities. I would never allow my own children to be in such a hazardous environment, and this is simply unacceptable. I plan to contact Child Protective Services and express my worries about the food quality to local health authorities as well."

"The ambiance was wonderful, and the service was both attentive and well-trained. The cocktails were excellent, setting a positive tone for the evening. The Carpaccio appetizer stood out with its exceptional presentation, complemented by a delightful assortment of greens. While the Chorizo and cheese appy was enjoyable, there was a bit too much cheese for my liking. The highlight of the meal was the skirt steak for two, which was very tasty. However, it required some effort to enjoy fully. The steak was cooked with the silver skin on, and unfortunately, it was served that way. I understand the reasoning behind grilling it with the silver skin to retain moisture and flavor, but it made the dining experience challenging. Stripping the silverskin off became a distracting task, hindering our ability to have a smooth conversation. A suggestion for improvement would be to consider removing the silverskin after grilling and then returning the steak briefly to the grill for additional browning. This adjustment could enhance the overall enjoyment of the dish without compromising its flavors. I plan to communicate this feedback during my next visit. Despite this minor inconvenience, the overall dining experience was very good. The combination of a wonderful ambiance, attentive service, and excellent cocktails contributed to a positive and enjoyable evening."

"El Agave offers a lovely dining experience. One of the highlights of the restaurant is the beautiful seating, complemented by televisions throughout the space, and the immaculate bathrooms. The ambiance truly captures a Mexican essence with its stunning tiled floors and beautiful decorations. While I found the food a bit pricey given the portion sizes and quality, it wasn't unreasonable. There are discounts available, such as the Fairmont Cardinals football card which gives you 10% off, along with birthday specials. The margaritas are also reputed to be quite good. Overall, I believe it's difficult to visit El Agave and not enjoy a good meal."

"I highly recommend this restaurant! It’s my go-to spot for breakfast, where they not only serve alcohol but have a diverse menu as well. I want to give a special shout-out to an exceptional server named Beth. Today, she handled a difficult customer with such grace and professionalism. I’ve been served by her 10 to 20 times, and she’s always fantastic! There are several great servers here, and I wish I knew all their names because they always recognize me and treat me wonderfully each time I visit. I've also observed their interactions with other guests, and I've never had any complaints, just the usual minor issues. Remember, we’re all human, so let’s treat each other with kindness. "Yesterday, I ordered the Tampiqueña Combo, which features carne asada with bell peppers, onions, and hot red peppers. It also comes with a cheese enchilada, rice, and beans, but I opted for fries and a salad instead. The only inconsistency I’ve noticed is how they cook the meat; yesterday's meat was just okay. I'm not sure if it depends on the type of meat or the chef for that day. While it was delicious, I've had better meat dishes there before. My toddler, who is 15 months old, had the kid's quesadilla with rice and beans. She loved it and finished all the rice and beans! I really enjoy this place and will definitely keep coming back. Great atmosphere and excellent service!"
