"I’ve always enjoyed the food but tonight even good food couldn’t make up for the service. My husband and I brought really good friends from out of state here because it was close by and I shamelessly love Greene Turtle’s crab dip. Our waitress waspretty horrible. If it had been busy, I totally would have understood, but counting us there were only 4 parties in the wholerestaurant (aside from the bar patrons). To start one member of our party had ordered a particular beer but was brought adifferent one. We ignored this because he was still satisfied with his beer and chalked it up to her not hearing correctly. Wewaited 30 minutes or so for our appetizers. And then probably another 30 minutes for our entrees after that, which all came outincorrect to some degree. Some minor things, tomato when it was asked to be removed, blue cheese when ranch was asked, but thekicker was getting a crab quesadilla when we ordered crab cakes without slaw. Between all of the waiting our server hadn’tcome back to check in on us. She assured us that crab cakes were taken off the bill. When she came back with the bill I didn’thave a chance to look over before she took my payment, aside from the total of $106. When she came back with the signature slip, the total was now $118 and change. But there was no itemized copy of the bill anymore. She also hovered over my shoulder while Iwas signing and leaving the tip making me pretty uncomfortable and pressured to leave a more generous tip than originallyplanned. I enjoy their food so much, however I’m not sure when or if I’ll be returning to this location."

"The first time we went there the calzone special was awesome. The second time we had a horrible experience yesterday. The waiter dropped the lemon then grabbed another behind the bar and then put his finger in my water when he returned. The boneless fingerswere round boneless rocks over cooked that took 25 minutes with buffalo sause poured over them with 3 tiny pieces of celery.Trying to get the attention of the waiter to put in the remaining order was difficult because he was all chatty with the Mgr orowner apparently. Then asked after we received the chicken if we want to put in the order after I had asked him to do so at thetime of the order. The seafood dish came but was supposed to be genuine seafood as I asked expecially the crab meat, but wasserved with a huge clump of rice plopped over 1 shrimp, 1 scallop, 1 mussel (in the shell) and a 3 inch slippery clump ofseafood sea legs all glued together served with sauce and a few vegetables costing...16$. When sending it back the excuse usedthat it is hard finding help and they are young. Not only that when we arrived there were two families with kids....the musicwas head banging heavy metal. When asked if there was a different station, the waiter said that this is the music that some guys who come into the bar like...I said there is no one at the bar....he walked away. Though the seafood dish was removed from thebill, we would not chance an exchange item. Not going back."

"I've been to this restaurant several times. The food is always good and sometimes great. We went there last night and there was plenty of seating for outside so we asked to sit there cause we generally don't eat indoors these days. They had several of empty tables and went to seat us at the one high table they had which is ok if you are at a sports bar or they have no other seating but we weren't asked if we wanted to be at a high table with stools rather than a comfortable normal table. We asked to sit at a low table and of course they let us, but it would show a bit of caring to ask first. Small details but things you notice when you have worked on the industry for 10 years. Later when we ordered drinks we ordered 2 normal sodas and 2 diet. When the waitress brought them I double checked because I had a feeling that she would confuse them (sometimes you get this feeling and have to check) and she said that she actually separated them on the tray to make sure she got them right. The reason I checked is cause my wife is diabetic so she has to avoid sugary drinks and if she has any sugar she has to know so she can adjust her insulin intake to avoid serious medical issues. I also get diet so if she ever needs to take a sip from my drink it's not an issue. One of our friends drank her soda and right away she said this one is diet. She really dislikes diet sodas and can tell right away. So then my wife took her test strips she uses to test her blood sugar to test her soda (diabetics will tell you how they check) and sure enough it was normal so she traded. So overall a good place but I think the service could use work. A retired coworker goes there every other Wednesday and I started meeting him occasionally. Service is better for regulars. It's just that I wish the service was great for everyone. Not just the regulars. One final things to point out is that I've been going here for years and the quality of the food has deteriorated a bit . I would tell people to go here to get the best burger ever, and now it's a little better then just ok. And the wings are not good. I still go there every two weeks or so to see my coworker, just wish it were like the old Lewis's."
