"Caravan Swim Club: A Welcoming Oasis for Overcast Days If you're looking for a warm and inviting place to enjoy a meal or drink, even on an overcast day, look no further than Caravan Swim Club. This poolside restaurant at Hotel June in Westchester, California has clear plastic shades that reduce the wind and allow the light and scenery to shine through. On a recent overcast day, I was greeted by a friendly hostess who suggested the shrimp tacos. I'm so glad I took her advice! The tacos were perfectly seasoned and the shrimp were cooked to perfection. You can also enjoy the margaritas, which are made with fresh ingredients and are the perfect complement to a meal. While I didn't have a chance to swim on my visit, I could tell that Caravan Swim Club is a great place to spend a sunny day. The pool is surrounded by comfortable lounge chairs and cabanas, and there's also a fire pit for cooler evenings. Overall, I had a wonderful experience at Caravan Swim Club. The food was delicious, the drinks are refreshing, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to relax and enjoy a meal or drink, even on an overcast day. Tip: Be sure to make a reservation, especially if you're visiting on a weekend."

"Went with a friend after work, it was a full house on a weekday evening. We made it to happy house and ordered two rounds of drinks, mojito and margaritas. The mojito was not made was mojito mint, could be spare mint. It had a more spicy rather thansweet taste. We both ordered steak fajitas, the meal was delicious. Octopus could have been more flavorful but was nicely fried. We also got Mexican street corn as an app and it was alright. Very cute decor on walls around the room. Service was quick andpolite, would visit again."

"This is my 3rd trip to this restaurant starting early in the pandemic. On my first trip we ordered take out and when we got home, we found out one meal was not included. I called the manager and he asked would I take a gift card to compensate for the value of the meal. I agreed. a few months later we ordered take out again and I couldn 't use the gift card online. When I picked up my food, we were told that you had to pay at the restaurant to use the card. I wasn 't happy yet again. Tonight, we decided to again order take out and had to split the order in to two orders because you had to prepay for orders over $75 (our order was $120). We pre-paid one order and paid the second at the restaurant. The gift cards were refused. They stated, we don 't use these anymore. In addition, our order was not right again. No cole slaw with my $26 ribs. $16 burger was over cooked. Two orders of $15 crab dip had barely a dollop of dip and we were double charged for the Gluten free bun. There are much better restaurants in which to spend $120. The food was not as ordered and mediocre at best. We contacted management on the two previous occasions and got nowhere. Basically, a waste of time even though they keep writing that on responses to poor reviews."

"Over the last 6 or more years I have always lived within 4 miles of this place and have driven by it many times but have yet to try it. Sunday was the day and I was not disappointed. I always assumed it was kind of fancy.. but I was surprised to find out it's more of an upscale sports bar and dining. I really liked the atmosphere. They have an excellent beer selection! The key to my heart! As well as wine and cocktails. I wasn't starving by any means so I opted for a couple lighter items for myself. I'm a sucker for cab cakes and the portion size was generous enough for my appetite! They were pretty good. I'd say 8/10. I also tried the sweet potato fries and they were also delicious! Lastly we tried the mousse cake. It was VERY rich. It was yummy and fun to try but I wouldn't go out of my way to get it again. Our server Tracy was nice and very helpful. She had some great recommendations. I would definitely come back!"

"This is my favorite restaurant in Raleigh. While I usually prefer higher-end places like Cowfish in North Hills or Midtown, the staff and service at this restaurant have consistently impressed me. I typically rate places 3 to 4 stars, but the welcoming attitude of multiple staff members who come to greet you makes it hard to give less than 5 stars. The food is absolutely fantastic—without a doubt, the best Mexican restaurant around. In fact, they could raise their prices by $2 on menu items because I'm definitely getting more than my money's worth! If anyone wants to see pictures or hear personal testimonials about how exceptional this place is, feel free to reach out to me directly. Better yet, let’s meet for lunch, and I can share this delightful Coco-Bongo experience with you!"

"Had a reservation for 5 at 830... we waited over 40 mins to be seated... we didn’t eat until past 10 pm... they put us in the back I’m assuming where big parties are seated so the ambiance we crappy. While it was cinco de mayo, the place did not look packed to have needed to wait so long. Bartenders at the bar did not acknowledge us for a good 30 mins while we waited for a table we had reservations for. They did discount our bill by 20% but overall a crappy experience."

"I made the reservation, almost a week in advance and arrived on time. We had guests from Europe with us, and they were alarmed that we waited almost 45 minutes to be seated. In my reservation, I had requested a table along the window with a view of the ocean. What we got was a table in the corner with a view of the fence. And that was after a 45 minute wait. The server seemed very inexperienced, though she was very nice. She took our order and still we did not. have the tortillas and salsa that is normally brought to the table even before we ordered. She brought those things after we asked, and then said I'll bring you plates, but she never did. Until we had to ask again as the tortillas were cooling. Our guest ordered a beer and she brought it to the wrong table and they refused it and she took it away. We had to ask again for the beer. The most disappointing thing was not only where we were seated, but the fact that we were not able to even eat our complementary tortillas and salsa until an hour after our reservation time. The food we ordered was good, but in general the experience was a negative one."

"We had a great first experience at the Pony Room, but our second visit was unfortunately disappointing. We arrived at 7:50 and didn't leave until after 10 pm due to the slow service. Even though we requested it as an appetizer, it took a long time to receive our baby's meal. We only ordered one appetizer and one entree, but the entire process took far too long, especially with a baby. We were constantly told that our food would be out in "1-2 minutes," but it took at least 10-15 minutes each time. The 20 oz rib eye we ordered was mostly fat, which was disappointing. Overall, our experience was a 3/10 compared to the 10/10 experience we had last year. We believe that because we didn't order drinks (I'm pregnant), we may have received less attention compared to other tables. Despite this, we would still return for the amazing ambiance and friendly servers. However, for this particular visit, it was a letdown."

"If I could, I would give this place ZERO stars. I'm not sure if these other reviews are fake but the food and service was not good. I started off with the queso fundido chorizo and there was not enough cheese. I also ordered the combo #2 which was a taco, quesadilla and an enchilada all with beef. The taco was alright, the meat was very dry and the tortilla tasted stale. The quesadilla barely had any cheese and no meat. I couldn't even eat the enchilada because it smelled like the elephants at the zoo and did not taste good. The waiter also overcharged me on my food even though the menu clearly states the prices. It was a waste of my money and I will never come here again!!!"

"I had the Dos Equis draft, chips, salsa, and chili reano. The chips and draft were great. The salsa was not my favorite style, it seemed like cut up stewed tomatoes with very little reasoning , the chili relleno had a good pepper and a good amount of meat but it could have had a little more cheese and the cheese on it needed to be melted more. The servers were great. Happy hour 5 to 8."

"We were there on cinco de Mayo so the restaurant was filled with guests and bustling with activity including a Mexican DJ which gave our visit an added noise level that made conversation a challenge. My steak fajitas seemed a bit bland and not flavored with the typical spices most restaurants use but others in our group seemed to enjoy their food. Oh almost forgot...chips salsa are made at the restaurant and are delicious!!! Really top notch!! The service was a bit slow probably because of the number of guests but our server also lacked the friendliness we usually encounter. Not sure if she was nervous or what but she literally didn’t smile once during our 2 hr dinner. The owner and his wife (on the other hand) were very friendly and engaging and working hard to make the restaurant a success!! For this reason we would happily return."

"We really enjoyed our breakfast here. Compared to the rest of Las Vegas food, a giant ham steak and eggs breakfast is a bargain at $14.95 and it was great! I am still trying to figure out what that sourdough toast was, it was some,of the best I have eaten. We did arrive later in the morning, but service was fast and very friendly. Of all the meals we had in LV this was definitely at the top for taste and value."

"When visiting Des Moines, this by far was arguably the best restaurant we ate at! I would highly recommend! Service was good and the food was great! Good flavor and portions. We ordered the Chicken Quesadilla, one normal and one with “light” (less) cheese. I think the one with light cheese was a much better choice. Especially if you’re not a huge connoisseur of cheese. We also ordered the Chicken Tortilla soup and the Jalapeño Chicken sandwich. All of it was extremely flavorful and well prepared. The Malo Fries were good as well! Cost is slightly on the higher side for a lunch meal. But definitely worth a try!"

"We love sitting outside at Moku and the atmosphere is great, inside and out. I love that you can make reservations on OpenTable, easily and are seated as soon as it is it's time for your reservation. We find the music a bit too loud, inside and out as we like to bring friends from out of town here and enjoy having a good conversation but sometimes the music is too loud to hear each other. In general, we like the area and have come to Moku around 5 times in the last year."

"Having an apartment in this neighborhood my husband walked past this place every day so we decided to have dinner here even though I had come by here a few weeks ago asking if they had Sopas and besides telling me she didn 't really speak English the answer was just No!the menu was extremely limited and really has Nothing for Vegan 's or vegetarian 's. I believe there is one item a burrito with spicy vegetables. It 's a Mexican restaurant yet has No Mexican cheese for their items on their menu. Also No Mexican Coca-Cola in the bottle. They have Corona Beer but unfortunately there 's No price on the menu for Corona so we didn 't know the price until we got the bill. $12 for 2. My husband ordered a steak burrito I ordered a quesadilla they have No black beans so I had to get pinto beans they have No Vegetarian rice so I got guacamole and whatever cheese they use I believe cheddar. They have No Lime for the beer and the girl said the owner said limes are too expensive so they only gave me lemon for my beer. We were the only ones in the restaurant, and I certainly can understand why no one comes here. Our food arrives she sets it down walks away and what do you think after her and I have been talking about Vegetarian-Vegan-Food what do we have but Chicken in my quesadilla! Her answer and excuse was oh well I wrote just cheese quesadilla but the kitchen didn 't see it. We are the only people in the restaurant there were No other orders. As some favor she says oh you can keep it I 'll go and make you another dish. Ummm... clearly she wasn 't listening to what I was saying because why would I keep a chicken quesadilla being a vegetarian?? I gave her the whole plate back and told her I wanted a check. My husband got his burrito to go, we drank our two beers and the bill was $32. My husband also gave her a five dollar tip I 'm not sure for what her bad attitude or all the mistakes?? They are a joke! Zero stars for the service! zero stars for the food! one star for the atmosphere"

"First time to this restaurant and the experience surpassed our expectations. Great service from Alex and his staff, delicious, plentiful appetizers and entrees with a delicious dessert menu. Our only disappointment was we ordered two pitchers of Cadillac Margaritas on the rocks. Both pitchers were light on the tequila, even my wife who doesn’t drink much didn’t feel any buzz. Maybe we will just order individual drinks versus pitchers. All in all, very good dining experience and we’ll definitely be back"

"on the treppenweg to a surprisingly beautiful, almost whimsical setting! cool and quiet, with a pleasant view of the streets below. the drinks menu and dinner menu offer both excellent choices. a great surprise of the limonade! our server, amy, was helpful, attentive and very personal. their anesthesia has really added our eating experience and of course it was excellent!"

"This place is adorable. It is part of La Estancia hotel. It is located outdoors with a covered area, a huge fire pit, benches, tons of pillows and good vibes. As a vegetarian there are not many things on the menu for me. I think there are some kind of tacos. However I still love coming here to grab a drink and soak in the scene. I also like that the bathrooms are outdoors and you don?t have to go inside. This was the best place to chill during covid."

"The entrees here are overpriced—$20 for a chicken quesadilla with no sides is outrageous. The kids’ meal, priced at $10, includes just two chicken tenders and a side of rice. On the day we visited, our server forgot to put in one of the seven meals for our group, so that dish arrived 20 minutes later than everyone else's. She didn't check in with us after taking our initial order; we only saw her again after we had to call her over for the check. Meanwhile, she spent the rest of the time chatting with other staff members. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant unless you're just looking to grab a couple of beers at the bar to watch a game. Otherwise, I suggest going next door to the Chateau."
