"If I could, I would give this place ZERO stars. I'm not sure if these other reviews are fake but the food and service was not good. I started off with the queso fundido chorizo and there was not enough cheese. I also ordered the combo #2 which was a taco, quesadilla and an enchilada all with beef. The taco was alright, the meat was very dry and the tortilla tasted stale. The quesadilla barely had any cheese and no meat. I couldn't even eat the enchilada because it smelled like the elephants at the zoo and did not taste good. The waiter also overcharged me on my food even though the menu clearly states the prices. It was a waste of my money and I will never come here again!!!"

Great taco spot. Very fresh guacamole. I would post pictures of the food but the smell triggered animal hunger in me and I devoured it.I'll be back.

I ordered the #2 combination plate. The al pastor taco was good, but the rice and beans tasted stale. The enchilada was made with flour tortillas and tomato salsa, which isn't traditional; enchiladas are usually made with corn tortillas and served with red or green salsa.

Food was tasty even after the next day of heating up, steak was mostly meat instead of just a lot of fat pieces, even though I got take out it was still super presentable you can tell they really take pride in their food and service definitely my favorite taco place up north! View menu

This place has really gone down hill. The staff used to be friendly. I have stopped by twice within 30-60 after they open according to their Google hours; and there is a guy sitting at the table with his arms crossed and tells me that I need to leave that they aren't open. Why is your door unlocked and the open sign lit up then? Update your Google hours and don't unlock the door.

I'm not sure how to feel about this restaurant. The meat in my burrito had a sour and spoiled taste, which made me hesitant to keep eating it. The green and red sauces provided were very watery, as if they were trying to make them last longer, but unfortunately, they lacked flavor. I'm uncertain about this place overall. While the elderly lady was kind, the guy had a bit of a rude attitude. I'm really not sure about this place; it seems like they might be serving spoiled meat.

"Tempesta is arguably one of the best sandwich shops in the city. They make a lot of their meats in house and use high quality ingredients so you know you’re getting the good stuff. Not only can you get a great sandwich, you can purchase most of their meats to go as well as other small artisanal grocery items. I have tried almost every sandwich they have on the menu but my top two choices would be the #1 The Dante and the #2 Yo! Vincenzo! The Dante is their version of a classic Italian sandwich but a bit on the spicier side. The Yo Vincenzo is a chicken parm and I personally think it’s the best chicken parm sandwich in the city. The chicken is perfectly crispy, and they use just the right amount of sauce where it doesn’t get soggy. Both of these sandwiches come on their fresh baguette which helps set them apart from other sandwich spots in Chicago just because of how good it is. The B Franklin is also a great option, and if you’re starving get the Wagyu Pastrami but be warned it is a very heavy sandwich because of that Wagyu. The last pro tip I’ll add in here is order your sandwich ahead of time if you’re doing takeout. This is a very popular spot and is always busy during the lunch rush so if you wait to order until you arrive you may need to wait for 10-15 minutes. That should speak to how good this place is because it’s in such high demand, so if you’re in Chicago make sure you stop in!"
