"I had a very difficult time getting into this parking lot. Blame it on Google maps. There are two parking lots one on either side and I took the one that was adjacent but looked like it was correct. Getting out of that parking lot and immediately doing a sharp U-turn in a busy street was difficult. It didn't help that the handicap parking spaces were blocked by a single Vermont red truck parked kitty cornered against two spaces preventing anyone parking there by a to go order. There is a ramp. Actually we have two ramps. One on either side which was also confusing. One side leads only to the outside seating. This was a very unusual atmosphere. It almost as if it was in the wrong interior space. There was so much going on with various worldly decor from Hawaiian to other decor that it didn't go together. That day the service was terrible. I wasn't the only one who waited over 25 minutes sitting down without a server coming to the table. Two women in front of me waited till after I ordered to even be asked to order. They took theirs to go because it took so long to get their food. Another gentleman seated himself, went to the counter only to be told he needed to sit down and somebody would be with him . I'm pretty sure he left because it took too long and there was plenty of staff. It wasn't as if there wasn't enough staff. Another single woman waited much longer than I did and ordered after three other tables. I ordered the Philly cheesesteak small grinder which came with chips. I also got a fountain soda. The sandwich was ok. Nothing to write home. By the way, this was at 4:00 p.m. when I initially went in and I didn't leave till after 5:00 pm. I had to wait longer than I ate! I probably would not go to this restaurant. I rarely say that but nothing stands out as being particularly worth the hassle."

"The calamari appetizer was decent, and the bread was good, though I prefer it to be pre-sliced, as I subscribe to the "you touch it, you eat it" rule. I ordered a cup of soup, but I can't even recall what it was—perhaps the distractions at the kids' table contributed to its forgetfulness. Feeling a bit stuffed from the Thanksgiving feasting, I opted for a Caprese salad. It was presented nicely, with layers of tomato and mozzarella arranged in a fan shape. Unfortunately, the pesto-like dressing was too sweet for my liking. It was filling enough, and I was relieved that I hadn’t ordered anything else. Looking around at the kids' table, the pizza didn't look particularly appetizing, and the mac and cheese appeared to be swimming in cheese. One polite child even hesitated to let me send it back for a replacement, a credit to their well-mannered upbringing. We didn't order dessert, as we brought our own cakes to celebrate. I have to commend the wait staff, who did an excellent job managing a large group of over 25 people spread across two long tables. They were also very helpful with setting up and serving the cakes. I feel a bit bad writing this review since I was a guest at a family celebration that they generously paid for. I'm thankful for the chance to try this place, but I likely won't return on my own. For similar food quality, I'd choose Olive Garden any day."
