"just adding to address the response. I do take back that you didn't offer an apology, you did. Sorry. However, our conversation and your response still do not address my chief complaint , which was not that your portion sizes were too large but that the person that picked up the phone should have suggested we had too much food and maybe we should cut back on one or tow portion sizes, especially since I made it clear how unsure I was and was looking for her guidance. That is the crux of my issue. i have been a regular patron for decades, by dining in or in some or in this case ordered in. i asked the receptionist for some guidance for 6 people, telling her we wanted 6-7 dishes. We were 6 people with average appetites and half the food is leftover. i understand that 1.5 orders feeds 4-6 people but what the receptionist should have told me once she knew we were ordering that many dishes we should have ordered less dishes ordered the single size portion in some if not all cases. Case in point, she suggested 2 full size trays of garlic bread (which was horrible btw) and 3/4 of it was left over. I unnecessarily spent an exorbitant amount of money on a 6 person meal, trusted the receptionist and should have received better guidance when ordering that many things. when i called back 2 days later to express my feelings to the manager, he basically offered me a refund for the garlic bread, not taking any responsibility for being totally misguided. LP has been doing this for decades and should KNOW that the more the dishes, cut back on the portion sizes...... Had i received a bit more of a token gesture and a small apology, you wouldn't be reading this review. DG"

"Really pretty place, warm and welcoming staff. We shared grilled octopus Portuguese style to start with roasted potatoes, olives, tomatoes and onions. Mains were paccheri with boar ragu and chicken val d’aosta. An apple tart and tartufo for dessert. Everything was expertly prepared and delicious. Excellent wine selection as you’d expect from a wine bar. Thoughtful attention to detail the occasion was my husband’s birthday and his dessert was brought out with a candle. We won’t wait for a special occasion to return."

"I love this spot. Great music, the food sounds standard but the actual preparations are very interesting. And the bar is great, the drinks menu is organized by base drink (vodka, gin, etc) which is the way I think about what to drink. Totally recommended. Just as a note to future guests, they charge for the sparkling water. Just bear that in mind if you're watering down your long-day thirst with it thinking it was free. Walter Foods is a must-visit for me every time I'm in Williamsburg."

"I'm here a couple times, because the eating ambiente is great! this time was an ehhhh experience. Before I even came to the restaurant, I tried to call no one who picked up after the 4th time someone finally picked up. it took 20 minutes just to get our wein after we had ordered it, which was kind of annoying. a big party of girls came after us and got their wine bottles at the same time as we did not make any sense. Maybe they were under servants? the only reason I wrote this review is that what happened at the end of the night. our waiter comes to us and says: “If you like the ****?” added, there was no other way around us, as they have gone, but we had another half bottle of wine to finish not offered dessert. I had to ask a server assistant for the menu and she was the one who told me that the kitchen closes in 3 minutes. our waiter literally disappeared on us, I had to get up and look for him to make sure that I would get the dessert in time. After we tipped him so that he could close, we told him that we ended our wein, dessert eating and making photos before we left him, he said "no problem" but it was clearly a problem because the host came up very high, just to tell us that we need to go soon because they close. that never happened. I'm server in my restaurant, we don't. I was shocked as if you wanted to go home so badly, then get a new job? They wanted us to leave sooo badly. When they got the money, they wanted us to go. as if we want to get it they want to go home, but we were there for 20 minutes after everyone left, it wasn't like we were there for 40-60 minutes. like I said big food ambience, but the end/shaft was disappointing."

"I visited Bravo for the first time tonight, and I was a bit nervous since I had never eaten there before. As soon as I arrived and opened the door, I was warmly welcomed by the hostess, Becca, who greeted me with a genuine smile. I placed my order for a steak bomb craft sandwich and a wood-fired chicken and bean pizza. Becca complimented my pizza choice, assuring me it was an excellent selection, which instantly made me feel confident about my decision. She informed me that my food would be ready in about 15-20 minutes. I stepped outside to take a call in the privacy of my car, and when I returned just over 15 minutes later, my food was already prepared and waiting for me! The service was fantastic and friendly, and the food was absolutely outstanding when I got home. I will definitely be returning to try more items from the menu! Thank you. -Brian Kobrenski"

"Our first visit to the restaurant was disappointing, as we were unimpressed with the service and food. The waitress was very busy and seemed to forget our order, resulting in a wait of over 45 minutes for our food. Three out of the four drinks we ordered were the same and recommended by the waitress, but there were several mistakes with the drinks. The flavoring we requested for one drink was forgotten and the color of another drink was so different that we had to confirm it was the same. Additionally, when I asked for a refill on my Dr Pepper, it was delivered to the wrong table. Despite the chicken club sandwich being good, the overall experience of a 1.5-hour lunch with tables coming and going before us was disappointing. The chaotic atmosphere with staff scrambling inside and out, children running around without shoes, was not what we expected for a girls' lunch."
