"I'm here a couple times, because the eating ambiente is great! this time was an ehhhh experience. Before I even came to the restaurant, I tried to call no one who picked up after the 4th time someone finally picked up. it took 20 minutes just to get our wein after we had ordered it, which was kind of annoying. a big party of girls came after us and got their wine bottles at the same time as we did not make any sense. Maybe they were under servants? the only reason I wrote this review is that what happened at the end of the night. our waiter comes to us and says: “If you like the ****?” added, there was no other way around us, as they have gone, but we had another half bottle of wine to finish not offered dessert. I had to ask a server assistant for the menu and she was the one who told me that the kitchen closes in 3 minutes. our waiter literally disappeared on us, I had to get up and look for him to make sure that I would get the dessert in time. After we tipped him so that he could close, we told him that we ended our wein, dessert eating and making photos before we left him, he said "no problem" but it was clearly a problem because the host came up very high, just to tell us that we need to go soon because they close. that never happened. I'm server in my restaurant, we don't. I was shocked as if you wanted to go home so badly, then get a new job? They wanted us to leave sooo badly. When they got the money, they wanted us to go. as if we want to get it they want to go home, but we were there for 20 minutes after everyone left, it wasn't like we were there for 40-60 minutes. like I said big food ambience, but the end/shaft was disappointing."

Ambiance amazing, Caprese salad incredible! Lobster and corn ravioli was amazing, but two GF Penne dishes were a major let-down…no flavor, no sauce, just wet, flavorless pasta.

Great way to get off Hanover St for authentic Italian in one of the most architecturally attractive buildings in the North End (plus the beauty of North Square)! Great bar and even better food and wine list. Service is top-notch and super friendly.
