"Worse place ever! Was sat and waited 25 minutes and no one even said that they would be right with us. NOTHING!!!! We were passed by so many employees. A table that came in after us had drinks and food order put in. As we got up and left we told the manager about the situation and they didn't say anything. Not an I'm sorry not nothing! The floor was so sticky that my shoes stuck to my he floor. Will never come back here again. Very disappointing."

"The food at this restaurant was decent, but it was severely understaffed. I only saw 2 waitresses and possibly only one chef. I arrived around 12:15 and placed my order at 12:45. The waitresses were very busy running around, trying to take orders, clean tables, and handle payments. The place was never more than 1/3 full, but the waitresses were struggling to keep up with all the tasks. From the time I entered until I left, I was there for nearly 2 3/4 hours. It was clear that the waitresses and chef were overwhelmed with the workload."

"This is definitely the best IHOP I've ever visited! When we brought our youth group to camp, we thought we’d be having a late lunch. The manager welcomed us personally, arranged tables for our group, and even held the door open for us. Our waitress was very friendly and skillfully took everyone’s orders, all while managing a lively group of chatty teens. The food arrived quickly, which really surprised us considering the size of our group—we expected a long wait! Everything was delicious, and we truly appreciated their excellent service and hospitality!"

"For my last day in the US I tend to go to an American Breakfast Place . IHOP has long been my go to, but this time I ended up regretting it.Let 's focus on the good first:Location is close to Fisherman 's Wharf and thus this location is very easy to get to. The staff were very friendly, I was seated promptly and Roberto made sure I was well taken care of.Sadly the food disappointed on this visit. I would go so far to say that the breakfast I had on my flight back home was better than the Split Decision Breakfast I had here. Overall the food was very fatty and a tad bland, with the notable exception of the sausages and bacon.I believe that I was simply unlucky, yet I cannot rate this visit beyond three stars."

"The food was quite good. I hadn't dined at IHOP in years, and the crepes were just as I remembered them, Mama! The only reason I didn't give a full five stars is that it was quite noisy— the kitchen staff were shouting across the dining area during the entire meal. Also, I got the impression that the manager may have been a bit eccentric... you know, just a few quirks here and there. But those crepes were fantastic! It might be another five or six years before I come back to try them again."

"First time dining in since start of pandemic. Busy Sunday. Seated quickly, had to wait 15+ minutes for waitress to appear after being seated, long wait for food and then both orders were incorrect. One order had to be completely redone and they still got part of it wrong. The other order they had to recook the eggs. 20 minutes later, I was completely finished with my meal and my husband's reorder had not appeared. Apologies and a 10% discount didn't make up for long wait for replacement order. Food was consistent IHOP quality. When we finally got our food, it was hot and what we had come in to eat, just too bad we didn't get to eat together. I think that I will go back to delivery service for IHOP food for a while before we try dining in again."

"Love this location. Dave is the most attentive and pleasurable server. He knows our order before we sit down and yes, we will wait to be seated in his section. It isn't just us, he treats all customers with respect. Michelle, the manager, is not behind the scene. She makes it her mission to go from table to table to ask if all is good. The food is very good as well as the service. Worth the wait!"

"Food took forever during a non busy time despite employees far outnumbering diners. Air conditioning was on extremely high and uncomfortable. Every part of the order was mixed up in some way. To top it off, the employees were yelling at each other and arguing about no one doing their jobs behind their counter. There wasn't even any cream for the coffee and we were told a lot of the food options were out of stock including the advertised seasonal combos coffees, and they didn't even have fruit."

"We left feeling satisfied and were talking about it with our other employees the next day. Our group consisted of 2 to 5 people, and when we inquired about seating, the same waitress informed us that we could change our order if we wanted to wait until 5:30, even though we were close to 5:00. We initially felt a bit misled, but the waitress made an exception since her cook had to leave at 5:30 (which is why she initially turned us away). Thanks to her kindness, we were served and left feeling full and happy. Once again, the customer service was phenomenal. I apologize for the length of this review, but I believe it's important to recognize places like this and the hard-working staff. So, to the IHOP team, along with the waitress and cook from Sunday, the 17th—THANK YOU! The picture I took doesn't do justice to the experience, as it was actually a video."

"I gave this location 4 stars mostly because the service was very good. The outside is a little run down looking but inside was clean, restrooms were clean and kept up, and as I mentioned above the service was real good. "I wouldn't recommend going to this place at all. My family and I recently visited this place and our server rarely came to our table to check on us, and not get to eat our food until an hour and a half of being there and see that other customers are sitting and seeing that there are food being bought to them within minutes, then watching them leave and seeing more customers sitting, and still eating was not on our table. When our food finally arrived (from the manager and another waiter who was not assigned to our table) everything was cold when it was sitting in the back, with a plate must be restored and wait one hour. Then our waiter finally decides to show up, but only to give us the check (it was 56.86, so I gave the waiter 60 (3 twenties) and the .86 cents (which I gave 8 dimes 1 nickel and 1 penny) he comes with just 3.20 with the receipt saying that my change was 3.14 and when I told him that not my correct change he was trying to make me change at all that I was going to him But I think I'm not and I want someone else to be treated like that. There are some negative reviews I saw while I was waiting for my food and when I read them, I should have just and my family out there."

"The latest special at this restaurant is pancake tacos, which are delicious! I couldn't find the Rooty Tooty breakfast special on the extensive 6-page menu, but I ordered it anyways and it was really good. They also offer a special menu for seniors aged 55 and over, as well as a kids menu. Be sure to ask about any local specials they may have. The pancakes can be topped with almost anything, just make sure to specify if you don't want whipped cream or they may include a big swirl on top. If you prefer crispy bacon, don't hesitate to ask for it that way. Each table is equipped with an insulated coffee container for your convenience."

"Place is OK with friendly staff, not too busy with a mixture of people, good food, nice portions and a fresh ambience. The menu has a generous selection and the coffee was nice. Only downsides are that it takes forever to pay and they declined my first payment. When I called the credit card company about it I was told that they entered the expiry date wrong; how hard was it to read, were your fingers too fat? I would've thought that they'd used the contact-less method or swiped it; very low tech business I felt uncomfortable with them taking my card away for a while. It's embarrassing when other people look at you and think I have no money to pay."

"I understand that this IHOP is always busy, essentially that was the same experience we had today. With that being said we had a table of 5. Or waiter took quite a while to get to us. Our drinks subsequently came out. When it was time to place the order in addition to the food that I ordered, I ordered food to go. I was the last one to order food because of this and wanted to make sure that there was no question about the to go order. The first person to order was very specific about his order. When his food arrived there was missing food and undercooked poached eggs. This was brought up before the order was ever placed about the request for the way that the egg should be cooked. During this time, the restaurant had filtered out quite a bit and there were a lot of empty seats. At this point there were more servers than there were tables that were filled. What I'm trying to say is it wasn't busy anymore. The server had a little bit of an attitude about the situation with the poached eggs and advised that it would be a while because they were really busy. Which obviously was not the case. My friend ended up getting the manager involved explaining the situation where they switched out service to somebody else. She was amazing, and even she was a little concerned about the way she noticed our waiter was handling us. Because she kept walking by us we were asking her to help us out because our waiter had disappeared. She ended up becoming our waitress. As we were in the process of trying to get the check I asked the waitress about the to go order. She said she would go check and she came back a short time later a little frazzled. She advised that the order was never placed in their system. She took care of it it was cooked and brought out and we ended up leaving. That waitress I wish I knew her name did an amazing job. The waiter a negative zero. Because of the way the service went I won't be stepping back in there the food was mediocre at best. I haven't been to this IHOP in a very long time and now I remember why we stopped going there."

"This place was amazing and had great service. My strawberries were a little squishy and warm but I did get crapes. My only problem was the crapes taste a little funny and the hashbrown is not seasoned. My hashbrown is plain . The sugar free syrup was a little funky to me. The bathroom is not sanitary but this is coming from a germaphobe. The kids menu is on a whole other level. The math for kids is a little tricky and confusing for us lol.It seems simple but the food chart is weird.And when you have to match the characters to their job it doesn't give any hits. I do not recommend the milkshake at all. Its too sweet and thick. Is that just me?I don't know. I didn't have a good experience and I hope you do."
