"Worst experience in years of eating here. Had not been since the pandemic closure. The food was absolutely awful. The filet mignon I ordered was so thin I had to ask if it was truly a filet (zero seasoning). For a place known As a steakhouse it’s ridiculous to be serving a inch filet well done to boot when ordered with a warm red center. The Mac and cheese which used to be divine was pedestrian and flavorless while the wedge was not chilled and came with a whisper of dressing. The only two things that went right were the ginger margarita (sublime still) and the cheese fritter appetizer."

"My first time dining at London Lennies. Wonderful food and even better waitstaff! I was pleased to have had Amanda serve our table. What an effervescent personality she had....She helped me decide upon the choice of seafood and boy was she right! My dinner was delicious and just as good as she said it would be. "tried sono cooking last Sunday (3/13/22) clean place, nicely decorated on the inside. they played on the bar a completely new popular culture music that was great. our server was beautiful and on point. we got the fried catfish basket, the catfish was ok, the Cajun horses were slammin. the sauce with which they came was delicious. we also ordered the cooking the soße was phenomenal and overall so the quality of the food was now the only reason why I rated it 3 stars because the portions were way too small! I was taken back when everything came out. I ordered 1lb of kc with 1/2 pfund garnelen i on broccoli with eggs added. on the menu it says it comes with kartoffels and mais. I got 1 red kartoffel that was cut in the half, a half of the mais, 2 eggs and about 6 pieces of brokkoli not even full crowns. overall it was delicious, but when I was finished I was still hungry my bill was about $125 (only for me) I felt like I didn't get what I paid. I am someone who cooks and pamperes on them often I have never gone to a place that had such small portions. I paid the same price to other places and got a lot more food. I'm aware that everything goes with weight, but 1 small red kartoffel cut in half. half a piece of mais. Normally there are 2 kartoffels 2 mais but eating was good, but not back."

"I have the Veggie rays with rice noodles with add of tofu. the broth was amazing and the eating was quite okay. they literally only cut tofu into my bowl. not a season, nothing. Maybe I thought that the broth would offer taste, but it wasn't. it was very disappointing and expensive. it costs extra to get reisnudeln as the regular noodles with which the dish comes are not vegan, and it costs extra to add to tofu. I was not impressed by the smallest and quite disappointed total. my non-vegan friend was also not happy with his eating / price point, so it is a shame that it was not on our expectations as we could both eat there."

"From start to finish this was an amazing experience. We had the escargot shrimp scampi tomahawk steak lump crab and asparagus scallops potato au gratin and pasta. The servers made sure my birthday dinner was amazing. My only complaint was would be that we paid separately for the asparagus and the lump crab meat however we were only given 3 asparagus on the plate. Other than that it was a great time."

"The onion soup was full of cheese and great flavor. The ribeye was cooked to perfection with incredible flavor. The Cesar salad dressing was delicious. The service and concern about me as a diner with special dietary needs was the best ever. Definitely recommend this steakhouse."

"heard really good things about this place so I decided to come here for my birthday. it took the server 30 mins to even take our drink order, she didn 't introduce herself or say happy birthday when we told her it was my birthday. mind you the restaurant was not busy either? I felt very ignored my whole visit. we waited over an hour for our food as well. the piano man was amazing and perfect, the only good part about my experience. so ridiculous this took so long. we watched 2 other tables get their food and desert and leave before we even got our food. such a horrible experience. I am a waitress and that makes me even more upset about my bad experience here. would not recommend and I will NOT ever be back. ALSO, the host Joe sat me at the WRONG table, then proceeded to call me and leave a very RUDE message. it was not appreciated. very rude when he is the one who messed up!"

"The ArtBar is simply not a good choice for a date or dinner occasion. The cocktail list sought to be imaginative but lacked substantially in drink quality. One dish we had ordered was clearly forgotten about by the kitchen and never arrived. The staff were unable to clarify confusing meal descriptions on the menu. The decor inside the bar is a confusing mix of LED’s and fake fall bouquets. It was not made clear from the description that the bar is in a hotel. Finally, don’t expect anyone to answer the phone should you have to call for a reservation or lost item"

"Located near Harold Square on 6th Avenue, the restaurant has a quaint atmosphere but lacks a warm greeting. It’s advertised as an American Bistro, featuring burgers, beer, and a happy hour special. Everything on the menu looked appealing, so I opted for the fish and chips. The cod was well-prepared and the batter was nice and crispy. "The Dover sole was absolutely amazing and made me feel radiant. The chocolate cake was so delicious that it left me speechless. The staff was extremely attentive and professional. "My husband surprised me with a special Birthday/Valentine's day party with 3 other couples. Our waitress was very nice but it took forever to get our meals. I was a server years ago so I am very understanding and patient. The food wasn't anything special and I ordered the Valentine's day Filet and Lobster dinner. Our table faced a curtain covered kitchen or dishwasher area, definitely not appealing or desirable. So much could be done to make this an amazing restaurant. I thought it was quite tacky myself as did our guests whom had previously dined there. We were dressed nicely and realized that we could have worn jeans, t-shirts and flip flops It's too bad because it has great potential. I was married on this ship 43 years ago so I am familiar with its elegance and beauty. I am familiar with Sir Winston's next door but it shouldn't have to go from beautiful to tacky. We all left disappointed and know that we will not return to this particular restaurant."

"The Boil Astoria is not only a gorgeous atmosphere, but a remarkably exciting experience, as well. We ordered the shrimp cocktail, soft crab, oysters for starters. All fantastic. To drink, the Peach Lemonade is a must. The star of the show,however, was the full 1 1/2lb lobster. It was served steaming hot in a bag of garlic lemon goodness ? accompanied by potatoes,corn, all the garlic you could imagine. The wait staff was very attentive throughout our time there the owner is a truehost. Highly recommend!"

"Quite possibly the nicest family that are there own staff of all the restaurants I've ever been to. Each item or drink in the flight they were passionate about. I ordered the cheese bread, but when i tasted the onion roll that was my favorite. 2nd course I got the speck with figs which was my favorite. Others got the quinoa, but i don't care for beets, however the salad with walnuts had a surprise tasty mousse that took a close second place on flavor. 3rd course I did the leeks and egg, and the was a surprise dark horse and probably my favorite of the evening. I don't love lobster, but i tried that course and was impressed with the dressing, and would recommend for any seafood lovers. Finally i had oxtail and spaeztel which was my least favorite. It's a bit like pot roast, my friends had the market mahi mahi and absolutely loved it. To top it off we did the brown butter pudding that my friends loved, but a tad too sweet for me while I drank the cabornet from my last course. Joan and her son served and chatted with us all night. They were kind, talented and wine selection, and just flat out lovely people. I can't recommend this place enough."

"Their specialty dish was the Fish and Chips. The fish was tasty, but the chips were generic seasoned fries that didn't match the menu description. We didn't feel the meal was worth the $42 price tag. My wife chose the Seafood Pesto Tortellini ($49) which tasted like it was store-bought. The dish only had a few shrimp and pieces of fish, which was disappointing considering the price. The sauce was more of a cream Alfredo than pesto. However, we did enjoy the Key Lime Pie. My Tito's dirty martini cost $19. Overall, the dining experience fell short of our expectations for the expensive price."

"My family and I have been coming here since it first opened, oh gosh I believe in the early 2000 's if not late late 90 's, for many an occasion but more recently, it 's our go to stop a must have, no matter the time of day, after we have gone to the city (New York, Long Island, even Jersey and anyone in the family that didn 't make the trip, always request to be brought back a lobster potpie, which are to die for!!! Everything I ever get taste great, no matter what it is!!! Lately,I 've been stuck on the 'Crab Shell ', which is there name sake signature dish of a simple seafood pasta that is sssooo delectable They always have 'specials of the day ' with at least 4-6 options, the last 3 almost always being some sort of 'fried ' whatever(fish,shrimp, etc. . The staff is always ssssooo nice and very helpful. There 's lots of outdoor seating as well as a cozy-ish seaside home feel on the interior. It 's right on the water and right off the highway. ALL ACROSS THE BOARD. I should mention it 's more on the side."

"First time went to this restaurant for my partner's birthday celebration on a sat night, better made reservation ahead otherwise i dont think you could get a spot from walk in, very busy night. Very friendly staff to greet you and provide coat check whom i noticed later on she was actually the restaurant manager for that night, Olivia. Excellent service and warm greeting from Olivia. She even treat us dessert on the house since it was my partner's birthday. Our server, Sylvain, super friendly and went through the menu with us. He is very responsive and keep refilling my wine water once it is low, super impressive. To be honest, the seafood tower is a bit pricy for the amount so i recommend you may try our each single item from the seafood category. because the taste and texture of the seafood is great! (Hokkaido Scallop must try! The beef tartare was very salty and Sylvain noticed we didnt move well on the dish so he came over and ask what happened. i told him that was way too salty and he brought back and made a new one for us with less salt, very considerate and good observation. Another thing i must point out is that when i made the reservation i have put in the note that since is my partner's bday i would like to have a more private spot for dinning if possible. We arrived at 6pm and we were sitting at the very end window side table, the whole house was full by 7 pm or so, but the table beside us was empty until 9pm. Very impressive that they fulfill my note and provided us a great night without any disturb beside our table until late night for the table turn over. High honor to Olivia and Sylvain!! Must come again very soon!!!"
