"I arrived at the restaurant at 7:30 PM, and the door stated they closed at 8:00 PM. I called to confirm, and a rude woman answered, saying, "The restaurant closes at 8, but the kitchen closes at 7:30." Does that even make sense? If I could give them zero stars, I definitely would. "Once we got beyond the unfriendly and unhelpful reception desk crew on the deck and made contact with the “grown up” crew on the inside desk, all was well. (More training needed! The restaurant clearly has a real chef. The menu is imaginative and the food is good. The waitstaff is also helpful and attentive."

"I’m starting to loose faith in reading good reviews because this place was not what I was hoping it to be. We were sat fairly quickly but we had to wait 10 mins for our server to approach us and offer us drinks. I had seen him walk by us many times to attend to a party of 8 that he was taking care of but never said anything until 10 mins later. We finally got waters and I tried out their cafe latte and it tasted like regular coffee with regular milk poured in, so I guess they don’t have a milk frother thing? Idk what it’s called but I’m a coffee feign so I know it was just a regular cup of coffee. We waited for 45 mins to get our food. I tried the shrimp and grits and it was so overpowering, waaaay too much sauce was poured on. The hash browns had a sweetness to them and not very good either. They over cooked our eggs (we ordered over medium) and my daughters steak (which we ordered medium, and the steak was very bland and dry), she got the steak and eggs. To top it off we never got refills on our water and when I finally got more coffee, that I had to ask for, it was cold. Our server was very attentive to the party of 8 but didn’t pay me and my daughter any attention. I was server before and I know you’re expecting a good tip from a large group but you have to pay attention to all your tables and make sure they’re good. I doubt I’ll come back here."

"I attended a work function here. The room was quite nice. Very clean. Our bartender/waitress Liz was awesome! So friendly and helpful. The cocktails were tasty and so was the food. It was a plated dinner with hors d 'oeuvres. My NY steak was perfect! Huge portion and tender. My family and I will be back for a regular sit-down dinner. Wheelchair accessibility: There are two entrances. One in front and a larger lot in the rear of the restaurant. Both are wheelchair accessible."

"Myself and three friends had dinner at Captain John's. When we received our orders we all had a large portion of uneatable food. The oysters were small and burnt and I think the oil was bad. I am not exaggerating when I say every member of my party threw up their food as soon as we returned to our rooms. Stay away!!! After we paid, we told the manager, Mr. Frank, we thought this was our worst seafood experience ever and he said we are the only complaint he has received tonight. We must be the only people that have eaten there today."

"Wow! Living in the Midwest I don 't get seafood this fresh and Shells doesn 't disappoint! Our server Bailey, is friendly and personable. She showed true interest in us and helped us navigate the menu to pick the best dishes for us. I asked what she would order and she recommended: Fresh Mahi Mahi Felix topped with jumbo lump crabmeat and roasted red peppers in a lobster cream sauce. Served with seasoned rice over vegetable medley. (Pictured) I was not disappointed, I am still so full an hour after eating while writing this. Thank you Bailey, perfect choice! I think this should be called The Bailey Special My wife got the Baby Lobster Pasta, Succulent baby lobster tails tossed with linguine in lobster cream sauce. She was blown away and the sauce could be a soup! Our son ubered us so we could enjoy the bar, we started off with a Mojito (wife) (which the bartender didn 't know how to make but got it pretty close) I got the house margarita with a sugar rim, very good. We then switched gears to an Island Breeze (AMAZING! Light and refreshing like the name suggests and my drink the Rum Punch was true to its name too as it felt like I got punched in the face rum, not a bad thing! Atmosphere is light and approximately themed, everything looked and smelled clean. We don 't live here, but if we return we will be back! If you read this far please go visit, I 'm sure your experience will be as great as ours. Thank you to everyone at Shells who made our evening wonderful."

"Great customer service and Amazing Food. Had not been to Joes for atleast 10 years, kept reading the low reviews on Urban Spoon and kept skipping over it. What a mistake. My husband recently suffered a heart attack at the young age of 40 and now we are living the under 10 grams of saturated fat a day diet, which by the way does help you lose weight in a big way. We asked the waiter about the nutirtional content and saturated fats and why there were trans fats in the steamer pots, and wanted to know where the man made trans fats came from. The waiter had the manager come over and introduce himself and kindly explained that the garlic sauce in the steamer pots is where the trans fats came from and if we wanted to subsitute the sausage in the steamer pots for extra steamed corn or potatoes we could do so. So we followed the managers advice and ordered the food steamed unseasoned and natural without and sauce and it was so fantastic, all great and healthy steamed crab and corn and a couple of small red skinned potatoes. It was wonderful. Bottom line, food was great, we were very well looked after and post heartattack living is difficult at best. Your choices are tough and it is not always easy getting cooperation from a restaurant to provide nutritional information, let alone bring the food you order without all of the extra butters and oils. Joe's got top scores for being heart healthy on our trip. Just remember to skip the man made fats in the garlic sauce. Hopefully one day the owners of Joes Crab Shack will re think their take on garlic flavor and keep some of their customers around longer without clogging up their hearts with the man made fats."

"you can't go wrong at the evenings! especially the location seattle. eating is excellent at all of them, but the location in seattle is much more convenient. bellevue is super pretentious and incredibly dim inside. could hardly read the menu. hostess was sniffing. because we didn't wear $2k outfits, our waitress (which was still amazing) was definitely assigned to the other customers. it does not play a role, however, to which person they go when they are only there for the food. amazing bark and super fresh seafood. they find that their knife is quite a bit upset. bacon wrapped scalops I'd eat until I showed up. incredibly fresh green. exceptional service. not Georgian room service, but still absolutely amazing. we try to go at least once a year as a splurge dinner. soouo good."

"They’ve done a great job with making the restaurant appealing under co-vivid 19 restrictions. Service was excellent. We were there at 2pm on a Friday and had the dining room to ourselves most of the time. Server was very attentive and got everything right with our order. We went there to try their crab cakes as we are so disappointed that Oceanaire in downtown Denver will not reopen after the mandatory closing. The crab cakes at Landry’s did not hold a candle to those at Oceanaire. They had lots of filler and were stringy. The gumbo was mediocre and the shrimp cocktail came with just a tiny bit of cocktail sauce. Caesar salads were good and oyster po boy was very good. We’re still searching for a really good crab cake!"

"What a fantastic little gem of a pub-restaurant! The pub area was lively and bustling, filled with polite regulars, while the restaurant side was quieter, hosting just a table of Karate moms. They had a great selection of beers and the classic pub food was served quickly. It’s a bit tucked away behind other shops—look for it behind Goodwill and Guilford Haircuts; it’s situated in a spacious parking lot. It’s a wonderful spot to catch up with friends or grab a quick bite, though it might not be the best choice for a first date or a special occasion!"

"they were in the pan twice and first they really nailed seriously. the most important thing when they come here is to connect the waiting list before the time and significantly reduce their waiting time. overall, eating was really good. my daughter, a super picky dinner, loved that huh and wad and wants to get it back. the loaded hash had everything they want and I would suggest sunny side on eier to add another dimension. the benedikt was full of taste and the mais is a beautiful supplement, it would have been perfect if the egg done less. not pictured, but the strawberry phantom cake was tasteful and not overall chewing, a side of one is much. the largest outlet was the disorganized service. we had to ask several times for the toast with the loaded hash, refilling and benedict were served at least 5 minutes after everything else, maybe if it served the same time that the egg would have been less than hard boiled?"

"Edit after second recent visit, we went back tonight 04/03/22 and were waited on by Cash and Chase?. They absolutely rocked it, they were polite, helped with suggestions, and very attentive?. "We arrived around 630 pm and had a 45 minute wait so we sat at the bar and order drinks while we waited. The younger black Bartender waited on us and he was so nice and full.of life. He was very engaging and also recommended some great drinks. We were seated at our table 45 minutes later and our waitress was kind and very polite. The food was good and we enjoyed our time there . Update 6/3/22: We had a party of four for a birthday and we had a great time. Calvin was our waiter and he was so fun and high spirited. He was on point with all of our drinks , apps and food. He gathered the crew for a very fun happy birthday Joe's style and it was awesome. Thanks Calvin for a great night and for amazing service with plenty of laughter and smiles. "I was in town with my wife for my b-day and we decided to try out the local seafood places. With so many locales offerings fresh seafood, we knew there would be one that was by the water, affordable, and offered quality food. We definitely chose right with Harrison 's Landing. We were lucky to go on a beautiful day...the sun was out, a crisp breeze, and not a large crowd. I had read some earlier complaints about birds being present or that the platform where you sit moves...eh. The platform has lines that run down the sides that prevent them from flying in...and honestly the movement of the platform was minimal. People look to split hairs at times... But on to the food...my wife was craving coconut shrimp and I went simple, fish and chips. The quality of the fish shines... large portions, not over breaded, and juicy. My fish was perfectly cooked...and it paired perfectly with their tartar sauce. Loved it! On to the coconut shrimp...and the star of the day. Each shrimp was quite large...nice and plump. Let me say as well...they were perfectly cooked. You could taste the coconut in each bite and their chili salsa was dynamite. I can tell you my wife didn 't want to share any of her pieces...but I snagged a taste! The place itself has a small store where they sell souvenirs...my wife was sold on a few souvenir items. We also had a great waitress who was attentive and would check on us periodically. We went in the early afternoon but I do believe this place would have great atmosphere for night dining. If you 're ever in town, and get a craving for quality seafood but not looking to break the bank... Harrison 's is the perfect landing spot by the bay."

"This place would be a 5 star all around because of the view and location but the dog disturbance every time I go takes away from the view of the beach and the pier. I love dogs but dog owners letting their dogs lay in the walk ways makes it hard to walk around and when they bark at other dogs like today it took away from the rest of the great atmosphere let alone scary the pigeons which then fly over my table. I'd go here more often if dogs weren't allowed to lay along the Walk ways and dog owners were better about othe people's peace of mind. The prices are good as is the food but maybe the staff can cater to the patrons instead of the dogs?"

"Delicious food, very friendly service, reasonable prices, and a cute cozy atmosphere! 5 stars all around! Love the open kitchen which is clean and organized, says a lot about the management. The pizza is outstanding: delicious dough (not oily on the bottom), and quality ingredients. Appreciated that they offered ranch on the side and it was free! We prefer the thin pizzas mouth watering! Salads are always tasty, well portioned, and fresh. Bonus: they can host large parties (we had 12 people and they put together a table for us very few places would be able to accommodate such a request) but best to call ahead for reservations so you do not wait too long. Highly recommend this restaurant (I think they have 3 or 4 total locations). One of my top favorite restaurants because its 5 stars on so many factors. Enjoy!"

"I had never been to a Joe's Crab Shack before and while passing through decided to give this one a try. As it's been across the board, Joe's is hiring for pretty much all positions. They are limiting seating to help the servers not get too overwelmed. We were sat pretty quickly. However, it did take a bit to get our food. Our waitress, Angela was busy running and getting all her tables taken care of. I'm sure the cooks are overwelmed as well. Once we received our food..It was hot and delicious. I was very impressed with the way everything tasted. And my husband was impressed that I finished my meal. I would recommend this Joe's. Even short staffed, they worked hard to make sure everyone was taken care of. Afterwards we were able to reward the kiddos with time on the playground that they have on site! It was great!"
