"The ambiance was absolutely stunning and romantic, making for a beautiful dining experience. The bread served was the best we've ever tasted. The wait staff provided exceptional service, though there was nearly an hour's wait before our entrees arrived (we didn’t order any appetizers). While the flavor of the steak was excellent, it wasn't cooked to the proper temperature. As it's a new restaurant, we believe they might still be ironing out some issues. It is a bit pricey, and most of the wine options are only available by the bottle. Despite these hiccups, we would definitely be willing to give it another try!"

"Waited 20 mins after our reservation time to be seated . Waited another 30 mins before anyone acknowledged us. 2 ladies at the other end of the table hot up and left. The other people in our group had a toddler. It was over an hour before we got food and water . The “chef”, although trying his best, was not good. Food was not properly seasoned, did not cut the fat off of the steak, put wrong sauce on my husbands steak. This is the very first time I have been disappointed in Benihana."

"The entire experience was horrible. The food had no taste. The Chef was old, slow, unentertaining, and from the mask and the constant coughing, I going to say sick. Who wants someone coughing and cooking for them. He was cooking so slow by the time we got all our food plated, it was cold. I hate that I recommended this place to my family because I had to hear them complain all the way home. We live almost an hour away! To add insult to injury, you want to charge almost a dollar for YUM YUM sauce! We were there for a birthday celebration with family, but we will never go back or recommend to anyone. We spent over 400.00 dollars for this mess. The order taker was great and the drinks were too."

"This place is take out only. They have a shaded tent outside and an air-conditioned room inside. I waited in line for 30 minutes with only 10 people in front of me and another 30 minutes for the food. I got a salad with salmon. The salmon still had the skin on the bottom which I didn't realize until I cut it all up. The salad minus the salmon was not great with mushy tomatoes. Not worth the price, which was $27!! My mom's $18 clam roll was pretty good, lots of clams. They should really consider having servers for better business. Lots of complaints about the line in the hot sun."

"The waitress never came to our table to ask us if we need it refills we had to search him out the steak was very fatty and paying $500 for six people was ridiculous for such poor quality food. I've eaten at better places. Not to mention, we didn't even have any forks served to us until we asked. and on top of it, you put the gratuity in the bill. You don't even let us put the gratuity in because we base our gratuity on our experience. That's ridiculous. I'm also posting this on every platform that there is out there. This will be the last time I come to Benihana's until you straighten your stuff up Benihana used to be a good place to eat now it just sucks poor staffing. The staff doesn't even have to give good service because they know they're already being paid 20% for good service or poor service I should say So what motivates them?"

"The fried rice he prepared was fantastic. I ordered mine with filet and chicken, while my companion requested two portions of fried rice. In addition, he ordered two more to take home. Clearly, we're big fans of fried rice—absolutely love it! We've had experiences with other chefs who have overcooked it in the past, which is disappointing given the price—three orders for $17.50. We didn’t want to complain, so we paid for those and ended up discarding them, thinking we could enjoy it at home. But tonight, Daniel, with his name tag, was exceptional in every way. We felt it was important to share our appreciation for his wonderful service. Thank you, Daniel!"

"To make matters worse, I called to speak with a manager the following Monday but have yet to receive a response. The server I spoke with was dismissive and seemed to blame our lack of service on our decision to order the $25 all-you-can-eat special. Our total bill exceeded $325, and I want to clarify that many members of our party ordered quite modestly—like my niece, who only eats chicken and rice. We still paid the $25 cover as per the rules. If the staff or restaurant does not want to accommodate customers who choose to partake in this special for their own reasons, then perhaps it should not be offered. Our complaint is not about the price but about the inadequate service: our drink orders were not taken (several family members wanted alcohol), the appetizers arrived late, the food was served cold and overcooked, and when my brother arrived, he wasn't acknowledged for over 15 minutes. When I returned my overcooked tuna, the server looked at me as if I were unreasonable. I then ordered steak, which took a long time to arrive and was also overcooked."

"I was quite disappointed with our experience. While my husband's prime rib was delicious and the salmon in my dish was also good, that was the highlight of the meal. My entree was supposed to come with a crispy vegetable coleslaw and lentils, but instead, I was served asparagus and rice. The server who delivered my plate disappeared before I could address the issue, and our waitress was nowhere in sight. Not wanting my food to get cold, I decided to start eating. When I eventually mentioned the mix-up to someone who came by to check on us (not our waitress), he looked at me in confusion. I then chose to eat the asparagus because waiting for the correct sides would mean my husband would finish his meal before I got mine. The next person who checked on us (still not our waitress) told me there was no dish on the menu that came with my ordered sides! I asked her for a menu so I could point it out to her. Honestly, it was frustrating."

"Pizza truck! Pizza truck! Just like an ice cream truck, but even better! We came across the Polpo Pizza truck at the Sarasota farmers market on a Saturday morning. We decided to grab a pizza for breakfast before heading to the beach, and we were so happy we did! We couldn't decide between the breakfast pizza or the portobello mushroom steak pizza - both options sounded amazing. We asked the staff to surprise us, and they enthusiastically recommended the portobello steak pizza. It was absolutely delicious! The pizza was loaded with mushrooms, a creamy sauce, balsamic drizzle, and arugula on top for a hint of bitterness. The crust was flavorful and cooked to perfection in a wood fire oven, adding to the overall experience. The most unique aspect of this small business is that they make all their pizzas in a custom-made wood-fired pizza oven from Italy, mounted on a truck. It's truly something special. From chatting with the owner, we learned that they also cater for parties. If you happen to come across the Polpo Pizza truck at the Sarasota market or anywhere else, be sure to stop by and show your support! You won't regret it!"

"Very disappointed in this dinner experience. Drinks and apps were good but it was downhill after that. They were out of half of the items on the menu including the potatoes that were supposed to be served with the ribeye. There was no option to sub for the missing potatoes. I’m pretty sure the waitress forgot to put our food order in and we watched people come and go as we waited (too long) for our meal. My friend and I each ordered the ribeye with broccolini and Mac and cheese to share. The broccolini was not broccolini. It was frozen broccoli sitting in a puddle of disgusting broccoli water. The Mac and cheese was flavorless and watery. The worst was the ribeye. There was no sear and half of this $44 steak was inedible due to chewy fat and muscle throughout."

"I try to get to Legal Seafood whenever I visit Boston which is about twice a year. There are many great seafood restaurants throughout New England so the choice is always hard but we were staying at the Longwarf Hotel so it was a no brainer to just eat next door. My wife had the lobster roll and it was great. I had the fisherman's platter and it was okay but not great. Scallops and shrimp were perfect but the calamari was overcooked and the fish was disappointing, small pieces and not haddock which I love. It may be time to seek alternatives when in the city."

"Wow! This place really knows how to handle beef! The steak was excellent. As a Texan, I have high standards for beef, and this restaurant exceeded them. The steak was cooked to perfection and brilliantly seasoned. The atmosphere was friendly as well! When a chef can serve a medium-rare steak on a hot plate and it stays perfectly cooked until you're done, that's deserving of some recognition! I typically have to take my steak off the hot plate right away to prevent it from overcooking, but this one stayed just right. Truly fantastic steak!"

"My wife and I were here a few months ago and decided to return. This was our second visit since a flood devastated the building. We began with a pitcher of Sangria and ordered Chicken with mushrooms and Shrimp stuffed with crab meat. Both entrees were delicious. A salad was served with the meal. The dining room gets quite noisy, but it's worth the noise to enjoy truly outstanding food."

"I placed an order with Joseph's Bar Restaurant. I received a confirmation email and pick up time. When I got to the restaurant it was packed. Waited 20 minutes to see the Hostess. I told her that I was there for a pick up to which she responded that there were no pick up orders. I showed her my order number and the transaction on my cc. Waited 20 more minutes for her to go research what could have possibly happened. Bottom line was they were not taking orders and there must have been a glitch in their system. I am sure there was no glitch when they charged my cc $87.00. Worst service ever!! I wonder why their last day is on Sunday???? I wonder why???"

"we went to this restaurant for Thanksgiving dinner. the meal was extremely overpriced, $75 per plate, served for the quality of the food. the truthahn was ok and the supplements were either over salted or dry. the salat that was served before the meal was the best. Our children ordered the twin lobsters that were quite small. the menu had them at $55 per disk and the bill had them at $62 or something. did not want to complain because our server was the best of all the experience. not back."

"It had been over a decade since our last visit, and we were disappointed to find that things had changed for the worse. We decided to celebrate our anniversary at this restaurant and were seated at a table in the back corner overlooking the room. Despite there being only two other occupied tables, there was no sense of privacy in this spot. Our server greeted us in a robotic manner and took our order without much enthusiasm. As we finished our salads and waited for our cheese course, we started feeling uncomfortably warm, almost to the point of sweating. When we mentioned this to our server, he simply adjusted the thermostat in our booth and mentioned that the air conditioning was undergoing maintenance. We were left feeling uncomfortable and sweaty throughout our meal, and even had to visit the restroom to cool off. The lack of air conditioning in a room with no relief during a heatwave left us regretting our decision to dine there. The overall experience was disappointing and uncomfortable, and we wished we had chosen a different place to celebrate our special occasion."
