"When we walked in, it was dark and LOUD because it was karaoke night. We were a bit lost since there was no hostess or staff in sight. We made our way to the back by the bar and asked if we could sit anywhere. A woman curtly told us to go back to the front and that she would help us. This interaction felt quite dry and rude, and we exchanged skeptical glances. However, she followed us back to the front, only to lead us right back to the back and seat us at the table we had been eyeing. The menu on the phone had updated prices, but it was a bit confusing, so we found the paper menu much clearer. We ordered a chimichanga meal, a Delicia's fajita combo, and two single orders of steak tacos, along with drinks. Everything arrived quickly, but getting service from our waitress was like pulling teeth! The steak tacos were disappointing—I wouldn't order those again. The steak was definitely not grade A; more like B or even C quality! However, my fajita combo was fantastic! It was fresh, flavorful, and abundant. The other dish looked good too, as the person I was with licked his plate clean, which made us laugh. The karaoke was a lot of fun! I would definitely return just to enjoy the ambiance and laughs again. There were some colorful characters among the patrons, and in the end, our waitress turned out to be friendly—albeit a bit scatterbrained but in a bubbly way."

"Went with family for my aunt’s birthday. No one was at the host station to seat us and when someone did come it was one of the waiters. After a few minutes we got the salsa and chips. However, as we are waiting there was constant singing. I don’t mindlive entertainment but it seemed like the band was playing to almost every table. Fifteen to 20 more minutes pass by and thewaiter comes by to get our drinks. When the drinks finally come, only two come because the iced tea is “freshly brewed”.Both drinks are watered down. As the waiter takes our order we feel a sense of being rushed? And forget about asking anyquestions pertaining to the dish you want, it won’t really be answered. We eventually decided to walk out after waiting foranother twenty minutes(the place was NOT packed at all and the other drinks STILL had not come out yet. As we are about to walkaway the waiter states our food is “almost done” “it’s already done” and we ask for it to go. He clearly packs it uphurriedly so we can pay and go. DO NOT PAY WITH CARD! We read that they like to dip in and take tip amounts off your card whenthey feel like it. Anyways, my mother’s food was cold (how when you claimed it was just made? fried calamari shouldn’t becold… the food didn’t smell right from the bag, the beans looked terrible and cold. We won’t be coming here again. Just goto Cast Iron down the way!!"

"Saw that this place has 4.5 starts so decided to give it a try. Stopped in for lunch on a Tuesday a little bit past 12pm. The first thing to note if you're going to stop in here is that the parking lot is in the back. And there is plenty of parking. There is a door around the back, but you can also go to the front entrance on Pulaski. There wasn't many people when I arrived(5 in total including me). I walked to the front of the restaurants and let the front desk staff know that I was there and I wastold to have a seat anywhere I'd like. One of the things that caught my eye was the gorgeous painting of the Aztec calendar. The colors are so vibrant! I sat in myself and the woman at the front desk introduced herself as Kathy and proceeded to provideme with a menu, utensils and water. She was very pleasant and shared with me that they were short staffed and that she wanted toapologize in advance. I ordered the chilaquiles with salsa verde and carne asada on the side. When my order arrived, I wasshocked at how big the plate was. The carne asada was cooked to my liking (medium well) and so were my eggs (medium well). Thechilaquiles were GREAT. I don't like it when chilaquiles are soggy and these were NOT they had a crunch to them, which Ireally enjoyed. I want a fan of the rice, but I have to note that it wasn't horrible either. The beans were good andcomplimented the meal. Overall, I had a good meal and the service was GREAT. Kathy was very attentive and she sanitized theother two tables after they left. I highly recommend this place. I'll be back with my family."

"As for the service, there have been several issues. On one occasion, despite arriving well before closing time, we found it difficult to get any attention as the staff started to close down early due to a slow day, which made us feel unwelcome. In our most recent visit, we arrived 40 minutes before closing, not realizing the time. As soon as we were seated, the server immediately asked for our order. Since we had just sat down, we requested a moment to decide, but the server was very rude in response. To make matters worse, all the staff seemed to be watching us and giving us dirty looks. Even though there were still several diners in the restaurant and we had no intention of lingering, we apologized and explained that we didn’t realize the time and decided to leave. One staff member insisted it was fine and there was plenty of time, but the glaring and rude behavior persisted. Naturally, this made us feel tense and uncomfortable, leading us to walk out without placing an order. It’s unfortunate that such behavior detracts from what could otherwise be an enjoyable dining experience, especially given the quality of the food, even though the prices are on the higher side for Mexican cuisine. I believe if the restaurant prefers not to serve customers close to closing time, it would be wiser to adjust their hours rather than resorting to passive-aggressive behavior."
