"Kabobi is the Best Persian restaurant in Chicago. I’ve been receiving Persian food from Gholam, the owner, for over 30 years! Kabobi is a success because the owner and staff make sure the quality and taste of the food that the restaurant offers is always high level. The food is authentic to Persian food. Warmly recommended! I had the best lamb shank with white and dill rice at this restaurant. The ambiance was lovely too.

Delicious Persian food, nothing bad to say about this place at all. Portions are immense and they don’t lack flavor. Must try!

Food is always delicious and consistent and I like their interest on customers. You will be happy with what you have theatre. Just a small suggestion and hope about working on their desserts.

The food was top notch, some of the best Persian/Mediterranean food I’ve had. Splurge a little and make sure to get the adas polo rice with your meal, it’s so flavorful and aromatic. Highly recommend checking it out!

Food is excellent and have been going here for years. Unfortunately prices have gone up quite a bit to where it’s now prohibitive. Automatic tips cc surcharge menu increase mean will have to cut back on visits and catering from here View menu

The restaurant serves delicious food and the manager, who I assume is the owner, is professional, polite, and friendly. We particularly enjoyed our main dishes of Kobide and Soltani. The Zeytoon parvarde was also fantastic! We wish we had ordered more to take home!

This is my favorite Persian restaurant in Chicago. I have been here several times and have never been let down. The portions are huge and one dish can easily feed two people. The restaurant is always bustling, but I have never had to wait for a table. The Lamb Biryani here is the best I have ever tasted! Make sure to prepare to take home leftovers.

"Tempesta is arguably one of the best sandwich shops in the city. They make a lot of their meats in house and use high quality ingredients so you know you’re getting the good stuff. Not only can you get a great sandwich, you can purchase most of their meats to go as well as other small artisanal grocery items. I have tried almost every sandwich they have on the menu but my top two choices would be the #1 The Dante and the #2 Yo! Vincenzo! The Dante is their version of a classic Italian sandwich but a bit on the spicier side. The Yo Vincenzo is a chicken parm and I personally think it’s the best chicken parm sandwich in the city. The chicken is perfectly crispy, and they use just the right amount of sauce where it doesn’t get soggy. Both of these sandwiches come on their fresh baguette which helps set them apart from other sandwich spots in Chicago just because of how good it is. The B Franklin is also a great option, and if you’re starving get the Wagyu Pastrami but be warned it is a very heavy sandwich because of that Wagyu. The last pro tip I’ll add in here is order your sandwich ahead of time if you’re doing takeout. This is a very popular spot and is always busy during the lunch rush so if you wait to order until you arrive you may need to wait for 10-15 minutes. That should speak to how good this place is because it’s in such high demand, so if you’re in Chicago make sure you stop in!"
