Golden fried calamari rings, crispy on the outside and tender inside, served with a tangy dipping sauce for a delicious appetizer.

"My wife and I are house shopping in the area and stopped in for dinner. Food was excellent and the staff from the hostess, waitress and manager were delightful. They asked if we wanted to be part of their rewards program. If we buy in that area we'll absolutely become rewards members. They had a Tuesday night game where you pick a number 1-16 and they pull a number from a jug. If you guess right you eat for free. Great idea. We look forward to stopping in again soon!"

"Food I am so happy that I found another five-star restaurant. The food was top notch. We had oysters, pop over and fried calamari as starters. The oysters were so fresh that I did not want to stop eating them. The pop over was something we went back and forth if we should order. It looked like a muffin and we were afraid it might be too much. We asked the waiter for advice and he said it is very light. You know what? The top over is a must try. It is almost like a balloon and tastes amazing with some butter on it. The fried calamari didn’t disappoint as well. For main course, we ordered lobster spaghetti and fried chicken. Both of them were very flavourful and the portion was generous. At that point, we were too full to order any desserts. Everything else The service was fabulous. Our waiter was friendly and gave us good advice on the menu. During the dinner, I knocked down my cocktail, and they quickly came over to clean it and gave me a new one. I will definitely go back."

"Service is impeccable and we were well taken care of. The food has become a little bit disappointing since our last visit there. Wife had the short rib which tasted more boiled than flavored. It had great texture though with the meat being very soft. I had blackened corbia which was very good. The crispy calamari was a bit too breaded and not the best that I’ve had there. Still love the location and ambiance. Music was great and space heaters had us warm."

"Went for Downtown Dining Week. This restaurant was on the $35 list, however service was significantly below that level. There was a long wait between courses, but plates were not cleared off the table until the next course arrived. Our server appeared very disinterested in our table. It also took a long time for drink orders to be delivered. New silverware was not provided and I was explicitly asked to remove my fork from the plate so the server could clear the plate. The food was decent to good, but nothing special. None of these issues would be that bad had they not all occurred or had the restaurant been on the $25 list instead."

"We dined at wine cellar at Harry Browne’s. You’re almost 100% guaranteed to get lost finding your way to cellar. You can be annoyed by that or find it to be yet another adventure as I did (even after being directed by the host at the front).Good wine selection (if you want a cocktail, you have to ask for that…you’re in a wine cellar). The staff was lovely, the food was decent (the crab dip was great!)Downside, the cellar is unsurprisingly an internet dead zone. That may be good for staying unplugged. But we did have a situation where someone at home couldn’t reach one of us for a fairly serious issue."

"The restaurant was packed on a Saturday night with happy diners just like precovid days. Yet the service did not stumble the food was delicious and dining experience was well paced, comfortable and attentive. I dislike writing reviews for restaurants I favor but for Piccola deserves the positive mention. Good food, terrific service and delightful dining earns kudos from me!"

"I really enjoyed the lobster ravioli, but the portion size was disappointingly small for the price. While it was delicious, it just didn’t feel like a good value. The rolls were quite good as well, but unfortunately, I can't say the same for the rest of the meal. I've had much better experiences here in the past. I had brought a friend who was visiting the island, and I really wanted her to love our experience as much as I had before, but it fell short this time. I’m considering trying to sit at the sushi bar next time; perhaps that will be a better experience than sitting at a table."

"Food was to die for as always. Service was far from our normal service when we dine at Aqua. It’s was my wife’s birthday and when the server approached she yelled Happy Anniversary. She barely cane to the table and we had to ask the floor manager for refills on our cocktails and other beverages. Food was Amazing"

"You know you are in a good, authentic place when the food literally transports you to your grandmother's house when you were a child. The black bean soup had this fantastic combination of ingredients that I have not found anywhere but in my grandma's kitchen. That soup, by itself, was worth the trip. The sword fish appetizer was very good and the pisco sour was fantastic (I know, pisco sour is not Mexican, but in any case, it was very refreshing and perfectly mixed). Price wise, well you are in NYC ... 'nough said."

"Went there for Motherâs Day with all my kids.. in the beginning it was a little confusing because we had a reservation so I thought they would have a table waiting for us but I donât know how they run the place so we waited for are table to be ready. It was quite busy so I think everybody there was rushing around (Wait staff) so to be expected. Good food waitress was really good. Meal came we waited for a bit! Over all I would come back again on a non-holiday to give my over all experience."

"We have made the Marina Cafe a family spring break tradition for over 10 years and each year we come it has always been one of our favorite meals/locations in Destin. Marina Cafe is an upscale restaurants with an excellent fish and seafood menu. Service and food have always been excellent Wally the manager has always made our family feel special and is like seeing an old friend each year. So get a little dressed up and take the family or someone special for a great meal and a beautiful view of the harbor at sunset, you won't be disappointed."

"I love bringing friends to Baur's but the most recent experience was not up to par. We had a 9:30am reservation for Sunday brunch. I don't think there were any other parties in the restaurant, although two women came in a short time later. Among the three of us, we ordered a veggie omelet, the crème brulee French toast, and strawberry pancakes. My omelet was luke-warm (at best) as were the potatoes. The toast was excellent. Neither of my guests said anything about their food until the following day when I asked them. My friend who had the French toast said it was barely warm although the flavor was good. I think we were all embarrassed to say anything; I know I was hesitant because I didn't want to make a big deal out of a less-than-hot omelet. If the restaurant had been crowded, I might have been more forgiving, but it was not. I suspect our waitress simply didn't go to the kitchen timely. She said she usually didn't work the brunch shift when I ordered black tea and she brought herbal tea. She was nice about exchanging it. I want to be able to bring more friends to Baur's, so I hope this was a one-time experience that won't be repeated."

"We loved finding this place! Since my husband loves golf I thought it was very fitting. The view is incredible. When we dined it was a bit smoky due to the fires but we still sat outside for the pretty view. I would say overall the people are really nice but the service needs some work. We mentioned to the server it was our anniversary and she happily congratulated us but I guess I just expected a dessert or something to make the dinner experience more exceptional. There were no check ins on how the food was (I would have gladly shared my oily pasta saga). When I asked the server what kinds of desserts they had she shrugged her shoulders and said “I don’t know, let me get you a menu.” If you work somewhere you should know the menu and be able to suggest items! Lots of high school summer workers and very polite and courteous. We’d definitely go back for sure next time we’re in Truckee"

"I have been coming to this business for almost 4 years i asked them for a soup spoon and he gave me a table spoon when i told them i want a soup spoon the lady said i am rude. And keep insisting i am rude untill i left the the place. Very insulting behaviour by that girl for a customer who works in neighbourhood store and visit since 4 years. Service: 1"

"First time visiting Max 's At The Opera and it was an underwhelming experience to say the least. We were attracted to the restaurant because of the large menu, outdoor seating deck, and live piano player. Despite standing in one of the two doorways, where a bulk of the customers and the bar is located, no one attempted to help us. After waiting for 4 minutes, being seen by staff, I had to approach the bar and ask the bartender, who can help? Should we seat ourselves? to which she replied yes, you can sit there (indicating the other side). The customer service was absolutely SUBPAR. To be honest, it was embarrassing! After walking to the other side, a hostess, who seemed disinterested, said, you can sit anywhere. After a few minutes of being seated, our server, who didn 't introduce himself and also seemed disinterested in helping, haphazardly gave us menus. No hello my name is, and I recommend. Absolutely nothing. I 'm not sure if the service is always pathetic or if there was a racial undertone to the lack of quality service we received. We ordered a Beyond Meat Burger with sweet potato fries, an order of fries, and the crab cake dinner. The fries that we ordered as an appetizer, came out with the meal. The food was okay (not bad, but, nothing to celebrate). Overall, I 'm not sure I 'll go back."

"The centerpiece of the meal was undoubtedly the grilled sandwich. From the very first bite, it was clear that the chefs emphasize high-quality ingredients and skillful preparation. The sandwich was a delightful balance of textures and flavors, showcasing a level of culinary expertise that distinguished it from the usual fare. Paired with the sandwich were French fries generously doused in brown gravy—an indulgent treat that enhanced the entire meal. The combination of crisp fries and rich gravy was a pleasant surprise, adding an extra layer of comfort. The attention to detail extended to the drink selection, especially the coffee. For coffee lovers, the brew at Palace Restaurant is a genuine pleasure. It was rich, strong, and skillfully made, perfectly complementing the food. It's evident that the restaurant takes pride in creating a holistic dining experience right down to the last sip. The warmth and attentiveness of the staff also stood out. The friendly atmosphere and my server’s attentive service greatly enhanced the overall enjoyment of the meal. The courtesy and promptness of the staff contribute to a welcoming setting where guests are made to feel right at home. In summary, Palace Restaurant at 122 E 57th St is a must-visit for anyone seeking a culinary refuge in the heart of New York City. With its remarkable grilled sandwich, delicious fries, comforting coffee, and friendly service, every part of the dining experience is thoughtfully crafted to ensure satisfaction. Whether you’re a local in search of a new favorite spot or a visitor looking to sample authentic New York cuisine, Palace Restaurant promises to deliver excellence."

"I had high expectations due to it being the summit hotel. I was imagining an older look w dark wood accents. The bar fit that but the rest of the room was bright green w bright lights which was odd. Our waiter didn’t bring us water, there was dead bugson the table. Our table had 4 different chairs and we had 3 different waiters? With covid shouldn’t we limit exposure to manypeople? I didn’t know who I was tipping. My food was good however, the fries were hard and tasted like Walmart Id dayMcDonald’s French fries are better. My pickle was odd tasting and soft not crunchy. Even though my food was good I would notreturn due to the atmosphere. The summit hotel is stunning on the outside and had old charm to it and I was hoping that for thedining but it didn’t."

"year anniversary. Waiter nor host recognized it at all. Just treated it as another dinner to them. For the price we paid for the dinner you would have thought that there would have been some token of recognizing the event The food was good, but we spent most of the dinner discussing what made this restaurant different enough to justify the for an Fillet Mignon although it was cooked perfectly. I gave it good marks for the food"
