"The only good thing I can say about this experience was that the food was good and had a nice presentation. The problem was that it took over an hour to get it! The server was there right when we sat down and we asked for 1 minute to look over the drink menu and we didn't see her back for about 15 minutes. We were heading to a show and I gave ourselves 1.5 hours to eat and we didn't even have enough time to enjoy our meal because by the time we got it we had to leave. I was surprised because it appeared that we were alone in the restaurant when we first walked in. I asked for our check when it was time to go and our check came out before our food. Then the screwed up my order and when they tried to fix it, the side came out burned. Really a terrible experience overall."

The Baur's restaurant was good had a few appetizers and a few glasses of wine before the ballet. Walking distance from Denver Center Performing arts.

The food was good, but the service was disappointing, especially since it wasn't busy at the time. I expected better. However, I did enjoy the nice music room.

My braised beef entree was excellent as was the calamari we shared. But my wife wasn't happy with her salad. Egg was soft boiled and lettuce was wiltie with very little ham. Pinot Noir was good and service along with reservation request was good.

We were there on a Friday night to hear the band The Delta Sonics. The restaurant was not very crowded. The band was great. Our server was fabulous. The menu was rather pricey. I believe that the expensive menu kept down the size of the crowd. That was unfortunate. View menu

The service was below average. At the bar when I paid with cash they did not give me back coin change...that is their policy. Completely unacceptable. When I questioned the policy the server became huffy and gave us a dollar back. I have never heard of a restaurant using this method.

The loud music was extremely annoying, otherwise my review would have been a 4-5. The type of recorded music was not appropriate for the older people who were there for dinner. For a listening lounge I expected a better choice of music. I would go to Baur 's again because the food was good, and it is close to the DCPA.

during the restaurant week. eating was wonderful and innovat when a bit expensive and some items were a little too sharp. the live music was a joy. had asked for one standing, several weeks in advance, but the couple in front of us, which I think had no reservations, is the only one standing. they took us generously by sitting on a table and bringing us into one a little later. I visited baur’s as a child in denver, and this restaurant makes the name proud. View menu

We dined before a show at the Buell, and while the food was good, our experience was marred by our server's frequent absence during key moments, which caused delays with both our food and the check. We also intended to take our desserts to enjoy during the intermission, but that wasn’t ideal. Although the restaurant week menu at Denver seemed limited, we made it work by sharing two three-course meals priced at $35 between four of us. This place might be better suited for those attending the music events rather than for a pre-dinner show at DPAC.

After several pleasant experiences at the bar, we were disappointed during our visit on Saturday. Although we had a reservation and sat at the bar, our server overlooked us multiple times, attending to the tables on both sides but not acknowledging us at all. Fortunately, the manager noticed our situation and came over to check in on us later in the evening, which was a nice gesture. Unfortunately, the food was just average, not exceptional. Additionally, several restrooms were marked as out of order. Overall, it seems that Bauer's could improve in terms of staffing, food quality, service, and maintenance before we consider coming back.

"Love this place! Absolutely zero complaints. Wife surprised me with a stay in Rino for Father’s Day with Colorado Sake being the main reason for the stay. I’m a sake enthusiast at home. Everything we tried was amazing. We spent a couple of hours and did a couple of flights along with some Kanzake(warm sake) and tried 5-6 different izikaya dishes and they were all amazing. We stumbled upon a comedy show that we didn’t even know was happening which was absolutely hilarious. I loved the place so much, I ended up going back in the morning for round 2 and tried the remaining flavors I missed the night before.Met Taylor and she was incredibly attentive and helped us get through the rest of the flavors so we could pick the 6 bottles I wanted to take home as well as recommending some amazing food options. They had ran out of take home bottles and she did everything in her power to figure out a way for me to be able to bring home the bottles we wanted. Thankfully the owner came in with more bottles right before we left. All in all, one of the best Father’s Day trips I’ve had, such good food and the best drinks.I can’t wait to go down there again. Unfortunately I have a feeling I am going to have a hard time drinking the traditional sake I’m used to because this slightly different version is so damn good!Again shoutout to Taylor and the crew for taking the greatest care of us.This place rocks!!!"

"In a relatively unassuming location north of City Park lies a cute conglomerate of businesses, one of which being Rivers Roads. On nice days, it 's exceptionally setup for indoor/outdoor space. But even on cold days, it 's nice to cozy up with a cup of coffee and soak in the sun flooding the space through the south-facing glass garage doors. The coffee is great! I got my usual cortado, which was served in a small paper cup and featured no latte art , which was unfortunate. But that 's where the disappointment ended, as the flavors were excellent and it was well-balanced between milk and espresso. The space itself is quite spacious even inside, with plenty of plants and unique lighting fixtures. There 's ample cafe-style seating. It 's a great place to stay and work awhile or meet friends for conversations. Music isn 't overpowering, and WiFi is half decent. Not exceptional speeds but 25 up/down is adequate for many basic things. Plenty for me to finish the series finale of See in 4K while sipping my cortado! The staff are always pleasant and I would say more attentive than average, making you feel welcomed immediately. It 's not exactly in my neighborhood, but it 's still a regular spot for me. Seasonal drinks are good and most syrups are made in-house. Food is great. Outdoor patio is spacious and dog-friendly. There 's simply not many downsides, if any. Aside from there not being an actual river."
