"I’ve been searching for Thee Best Margaritas in LA for 4 years now and nothing comes close to Palmilla’s Margaritas! All their drinks are fresh and great but do yourself a favor and order the “Pepino Diablo” or if you like a little extra spice get the “Fresh Spicy Mango Margarita”. You’re Welcome… The Food is Amazing and their homemade tortillas with the honey butter goes perfect with your meal or if you’re only having drinks. Hands down my favorite place to go to in Hermosa Beach."

"California needs a better Mexican restaurant. This experience was not great at all. The two matching pigtail hair girls at the host desk seemed to not know what they were doing and seemed lost. They seated people who came in after us first when we only had a party of 2. They were constantly on their phones and even heard them talking bad about customers. The food was bland no flavor. Hard and dry and crispy. Carnitas crunched more than the chips. They were drier than a Popeyes biscuit. Drinks were weak and had no flavor. We tried 3 different drinks and all were so gross. Only the beer was good. You can not go wrong with beer or water. Seriously ONLY order beer here. They can?t mess that up. Hot sauce taste like spaghetti sauce. By far the worse tasting food I?ve had here in California. Order things that did not even come out and honestly I am glad no telling how that tasted. The only thing I enjoyed here was the live music. That says a lot. Bring Texas Mexican food over here. Probably will not come back or recommend."

"--- This was my first full meal here, and I ordered the enchiladas plate, which included three enchiladas—one with cheese and two with beef carne asada—served with rice and refried beans, as well as a lettuce garnish. Milena, my server, brought me some green salsa alongside my meal. I also ordered a half-liter bottle of Coke from Mexico in a glass, served without ice, along with a glass of water with lemon or lime and straws. I requested a second bottle of Coke and an additional side of refried beans. Everything was very satisfying! "Like many vegan Thai restaurants in Hollywood, the food here is decent. However, I experienced the absolute worst and rudest service I've encountered anywhere in the USA. The waiter was inconsiderate, confrontational, and overly aggressive. I brought my concerns to the owner's attention, but based on her poor response, I can only assume that this was a case of nepotism in staffing. I won't be coming back here, especially since there are countless other vegan Thai options in the area."

"this place is super cheap. tacs, tortas among the salsa and tacos we have ordered were perfectly sufficient, but they can get better tacos a little east of here for the same price. ours here were a little dry and we found that we added salsa to them, which we usually do not. we have asada, carnitas, chorizo and pastor. all were a little dry. that is not a bad place in any case, but if they are a Taco expert, they might be a little disappointed."

"I recently moved to Bushwick from the Mission in San Francisco. I was worried I wouldn't be able to find good tacos in Brooklyn. This place eased my concerns. The serving sizes are huge, the flavors are excellent, and the extras they provide are above-and-beyond.Aside from the excellent service, the employees also took care of my bag when I left it in the restaurant on accident. It was returned to me safe and sound when I came back hours later.P.S. make sure you try the chili oil!"

"Great!. I don't know why, but I was quite surprised at how good the food was at Cinco de Mayo. I guess I just didn't have high expectations walking in. <br/ <br/ They have a large selection of seafood entrees, which, for me, is great! I got the garlic shrimp which came with rice, beans and guacamole salad. If you like garlic, this shrimp is for you! I personally cannot get enough garlic so I was loving every bite!!! Pouring the left over garlic sauce on the rice was so delicious.<br/ <br/ In addition to the food, the service was outstanding as well. We will return!"

"I love this restaurant. The food is amazing. I go here with family and friends for birthday and special events. however they have started charging differently based on if you pay with card or cash. 1985, California passed Civil Code section 1748.1 that prohibited merchants from adding a surcharge (an extra fee) when customers pay by credit card instead of cash. However Margaritas illegally charges 4% for credit cards and asks for cash which is illegal under CA state law. Have triggered the state to audit this business's billing practice and won't support businesses that violate our state laws."

"First time eating here. The tables were cleared of dishes, but definitely not wiped down and cleaned. If you're looking for cleanliness and sanitation, this isn't the place for you. She didn't make us wait long before she came to ask us for our drinks, then quickly took our food order. We went for breakfast (7am) and they were already busy. Even so, our food came out quick. And it was pretty good. Both my husband and I enjoyed our plates. He got huevos rancheros, and I got oatmeal.After our food was dropped at the table, our server never came back. Almost 20 min went by, so finally we just had to ask for her. I asked for the check, She did that quickly, and then awkwardly stood there waiting for payment. I gave her the card, she brought the receipts back immediately, and stood there awkwardly AGAIN waiting for me to sign it (I couldn't keep my giggle this time). I said thanks and I'd get it to her when I was finished. Only then did she leave.At any rate, other than the service taking an unexpected turn at the end, it was an all around good experience here."

"Today, when I called to place my order, I spoke with two different staff members who both informed me that they wouldn't compensate me for the queso because I hadn't called immediately after the incident or because I didn't have a copy of my receipt. Although I do have a credit card charge that shows the amount I paid, I still didn’t receive the queso. It shouldn’t be difficult to see that I didn't get what I paid for. Additionally, my parents have encountered several issues with missing items from their orders as well. "I stumbled upon this place. It's on the back end of a small strip mall and easy to miss passing by, but worth looking for. I've been back twice since the first visit and haven't been disappointed yet. Food and service have both been very good. My first visit was solo and the last two were with a friend. He had the Pollo con Camarones both times and plans to get the same thing next time. I've tried different things and liked them all. If you want something a little different than TexMex, this is a good option. I like Flan and theirs is really good. It's not made in-house, but it is locally made for them. It has a texture more like Quesillo."

"Hey! We had pretty delicious quickie Saturday munch. Blood Orange Margarita had some oomph. Guac had some ZING! Beer was cold, Chips fresh, hot crispiful, and the Fajitas bang-on-the money: Steak cooked perfectly with a hot pink center, no red. Service was attentive and jocular. We 've been customers since the early 90s when Uncle Julio 's and Rio Grande merged... and have noticed some changes attendant to a new re-branding as Uncle Julio 's From Scratch. "My mom loves this place and anytime she's in town, she wants to go there to eat. Service is always hit or miss. This time it was a miss. Food and drinks came out just fine but when it came time for our bill that I asked for, it took asking 3 more people and 20 minutes just to get it. Back to the food; the queso was super watery and didn't even resemble what queso should look or even taste like. We didn't touch it after our first bite. The fajita taco salad was good but the enchiladas were dry. It was kinda disappointing because we really used to love this place. Maybe they were just having one of those off days. I'm sure we'll be back because this is my mom's favorite place but I can definitely think of much better mexican food to consume elsewhere in Houston. I'm genuinely disappointed."
