"The last 2.25 years has been trying on all of us, especially those in retail. DeCicco 's remained open at the peak of the pandemic with practical, well-orchestrated measures in places to prevent the spread of covid. Their shelves were always well-stocked. Now, they still always have what I need (despite shortages at other stores). They haven 't raised their prices that much. And, they remain properly-staffed with friendly and helpful people. I just wanted to write this review to say thanks to their employees and management for all that they are doing."

"I haven't been at the restaurant to dine in for a few years. I would definitely go back. The bread was warm and crusty on the outside, the flavored olive oil was delicious, our meals were great, and the coffee was very flavorful. Our server was super friendly and helpful too. The tables were well spread out, and it was quiet enough to speak normally without having to yell or strain to hear."

"Vito and his team did an incredible job catering my wedding. Everything was set up in a timely fashion, and didn't interrupt any of our activities before dinner was served. Once food was served, it was beautifully arranged, everything was fresh and hot (or cold! , and it was so tasty. My guests are still raving about the food. They're incredible!"

"We were looking for a regular pizza place to order from in long branch, however this is not the place to order high quality food for a good price. The pizza was paper thin! I love thin crust pizza and have had many, many good ones. However, this pizza was horrible. It felt like we were eating rice paper. The crust at the edges was burnt and rock hard because the pizza was way too thin and it got overcooked. They put very few toppings or cheese so it tasted dry. The large pizza was not enough for even two people. We had to go out to get chipotle after, that was how bad the experience was. Do not recommend at all. Very high priced for what you get."

"I was excited to rediscover the brew house downstairs over the past few weeks. With many restaurants facing staffing shortages, it's been tough to find a place that offers quality, attentiveness, and precision, all at reasonable prices. Emily, Rachel, Cassie, Ginnie (I hope I spelled that correctly), Kylie, and Rob have represented the front of house wonderfully, while Rusty and his son (I apologize for not knowing the names of the rest of the back of house team) have done an admirable job ensuring that the food is both delicious and prepared correctly. I am truly impressed by the quality and attention to detail this place has demonstrated. I’m afraid they may have to put up with me as a regular customer!"

"We made a reservation for a party of 10, including 3 children, and were not informed that it was "fight night" and we would be asked to leave early. Some of the staff were quite disrespectful, blasting the sound system for checks while we were celebrating our son's birthday. The manager did adjust the bill to make up for the inconvenience, but it did not make up for our unpleasant experience. We would not consider returning to this restaurant."

"I ordered for the first time 3 plates to pick up, it was right before they close, the WORST 3 plates ever, I have been eating Mediterranean food for 29 years now, if you try to look at this anyway there’s no positive thing about this place, bad customer service, bad food quality, bad taste and worst portions!! "My first impression of Manuel's: it's a lovely cafe/restaurant. I enjoyed sitting outside under the shade. The servers are polite and courteous. The basket of bread and butter they brought out was some of the softest bread I've ever had. It was fresh and warm! The food was okay. I wasn't thoroughly impressed but I wasn't disappointed either. The charcuterie board with the smoke salmon was fine but it lacked features of a typical charcuterie board such as some cheese slices, a few baguette, jam, another type of meat, or even a little fruit would have been a nice added touch. Not a boiled egg and chopped purple onions. Overall, I did enjoy my experience. Im excited to come back to explore more of the menu and also try some dessert."

"I don't even have words to describe how wonderful it was to work with Beatnik. We had our post-elopement dinner here, and worked with Cassandra and her team. From the start, Cassandra was fantastic- responsive, helpful, and enthusiastic. She was able to assist us with menu selections and was incredibly accommodating in providing options for our guests with allergies.The night of the event, she was onsite to greet us and truly went above and beyond to be hospitable. She made sure we were happy and taken care of and even insisted on taking my bag and checking it for me.Our server Miguel was absolutely wonderful and made sure everyone was happy and had a drink in their hand all night. He was incredibly thorough and took amazing care of us, especially in regards to making sure our guests with allergies were not treated like an afterthought. The manager onsite, Joanna, also made a point to come over to say hello and check in on us, and made herself available for anything we may have needed.The food was AMAZING. I can't even pick a favorite because everything was so fantastic. All of our guests made comments about food and beverage quality- the margaritas were a HUGE hit. The portions were also plentiful and no one left hungry. And of course, the inside of the space is absolutely gorgeous.I can't thank Cassandra, Miguel, Joanna, and the rest of the Beatnik team enough- they truly made our day so special."

"During the Covid wave in August and September 2021, local hospitals experienced a brief but significant crisis, leaving nurses to work long hours under challenging conditions. I felt compelled to help and began purchasing gift packs each night to deliver to the nurses at St. Luke’s downtown, spending around $200 a night on these care packages. I reached out to the Co-Op manager — the store I regularly shop at — and even visited in person. I was pleasantly surprised when Boise Co-Op stepped up with a meaningful and consistent donation that went directly to the frontline workers. Their support never felt like a burden; it was clear they truly cared about our community’s well-being. The management here is exceptional, and I also appreciate that many of the employees have been with the Co-Op for years. Thank you! One suggestion I have is to keep the smoothie bar open later, as it currently closes around 3:00 PM."

"We were immediately escorted to our table when we arrived. As we entered we walked through the bar area which was quite large and seemed to be a great spot for people to gather. Our table was in another room right off the bar area which was very nice. Our server came over right away and welcomed us and took our drink order. The white sangria was very good! We ordered the Buffalo cauliflower, which I was surprised it came out quickly. It was a large portion that was more than enough for my husband and I to share. It was delicious a little crispy and the Buffalo sauce was very good. We both ordered the Caprese Chicken. There were 2 pieces of baked chicken drizzled with Balsamic dressing. The tomatoes and mozzarella were ok, I prefer the tomatoes to be diced or whole slices vs the mini tomatoes but everything was still delicious. I would suggest this restaurant and would go back again."

"Did not live up to expectations. Granted my experience was a Thursday night late booking (8 pm , the inside, small area (ore like bistro lounge that dinning room was deserted. There were some groups still in the outside area and it appeared that guitarist and keyboardist were in midst of packing up (special occasion or regularly scheduled early evening live music? . Even though OT booking allowed for 8 pm booking, greeter/hostess had to confirm kitchen had not shut down for the night it had not, provided I ordered promptly. My starter of crab cakes was excellent moist, more crab than cake, with julien of fresh corn kernels, finely chopped cucumber and green peppers and accompanied by a small green salad with red and yellow cherry tomatoes. Very nice indeed. My main was steak frites which was unexceptional in every way but made tolerable by an acceptable Côtés du Rhône. All in all, too pricey for quality delivered."
