"Our family enjoyed the outdoor seating and the waiters did a great job of quickly pushing other tables in when it was raining out of the blue. We were under an umbrella and a big tree and didn't have to move and the rain stopped quickly. Our teenage kids weren't in many nice restaurants and they loved the creative starters, especially the homemade croutons on the Caesar salad, delicious! We all had very good meals and were too full for dessert, which is unfortunate because I have eaten the chocolate bread pudding with Baileys before and it is divine! There are so many tasty options and we enjoyed the scallops as well as the duck, key lime chicken and the flank. You can't go wrong!"

"The taste of the food was between ok and good, nothing special. I had higher expectations after seeing reviews. I ordered a pasta dish with sausage. I guess pasta, sauce and sausage are homemade, but I was disappointed when the dish arrived with 3 small bites of sausage. I ordered a cocktail that arrived weak and mostly with ice in the shape of a juice glass. When the waitress noticed that I drank it in a few sips, I asked for another one, but without ice. What I got was an 8 ounce glass of milk with a dash of Kahlua in it. No way to impress. I just wanted a good drink."

"We had the most wonderful dinner with friends. The food was fantastic, the cocktails were top notch and as always, we had impeccable service. We always do! We have been coming to this restaurant for years (back when it was Trio) and always love having El as our waiter. He is absolutely phenomenal. Joe, the sommelier always makes sure we are taken care of as well. The whole team there is amazing! My husband had the rack of lamb which was cooked as requested: medium rare, as it should be! The whipped potatoes and Brussels sprouts were a great size for 4 adults to share. Mind you, 4 adults who also had a couple of amazing appetizers as well. We got the house rolls and empanadas. Yummy! The house rolls are served warm with sides of butter and honey. Can’t go wrong with anything you order, it is always cooked to perfection. Others have said this place is overpriced but honestly it is The Four Seasons in downtown Austin, of course it is going to be pricey."

"Exquisite fine-dining experience. Perfect place for special occasion meals, and also a good place for important corporate events. Friendly, fast, and efficient service, and also a great ambience. But there is only a tasting menu available now, unlike how they used to have a la carte menu items before the pandemic. However, you can still order their famous burger and fries at the bar! "I look for restaurants that have Dover Sole Meunière in their menus, so I found Jubilee. It's a French restaurant on 1st Ave 52 Street. The Dover Sole Meunière was very delicious; I really liked it. But it's the attentiveness of the host and the server that completed the experience for me. I asked for a booth and I was given a booth in a hospitable manner. That got me to feel comfortable in the place! I also ordered the Duo of French White and Green Asparagus upon the server's recommendation. It's from the daily specials, and it was pleasing to my eyes as well as tasty. I wish the butternut squash soup didn't have chicken broth and the fish soup didn't contain alcohol! (Hopefully, they read my review and make the changes) Still, I highly recommend this restaurant for its ambience, service, and the Dover Sole Meunière!"

"It was a birthday dinner. We hadn’t been together as a group for a year due to COVID, so we were really looking forward to it. We picked MGFD because it’s consistently good and most central to us all. The experience was horrible from the start. We waited a long while just to get water, and longer for the drinks. They arrived after our appetizers. We ordered the whole snapper who unbeknownst to us was at least an hour wait. I wish the sever would’ve mentioned that as they held the rest of our food with it. They tried bringing us chips; however it was in no ones interest. To make a long story shorter, most of the food quality was still what was expected, but the service was horrible and to make it worse, when the manager approached us to apologize, he offered us complimentary deserts as it was a birthday celebration, and never did one arrive at the table. We were there hours, and it was the longest meal I’ve had to wait for in my life. I don’t even think the fish was started til after and hour and a half into our visit. The hamburger was completely over cooked or left sitting waiting for the fish and it kept cooking itself. Regardless, the birthday girl, a foodie, was more than disappointed by the experience. This is my first and hopefully my only poor review on this site. Best"

"a good experience from beginning to end. very grateful that the environment was in the conversation when we celebrated the visit of an old friend. from any reason the restaurant was not busy on a Saturday. difficult to interpret as ominous. Eating was very good, seemed quite traditional but beautifully flavored, fresh and ready to perfection. I had the ducks that were crispy in the outside, on the inside succulent and from the braided cauliflower nicely complicated. craft cocktails were excellent and packed a welcome Walop. would recommend corduroy in any case. it filled a substantial niche with gnade and skill."

"The food and service here is fantastic. I ordered an old fashioned from the bar and the balance of flavors was perfect. It was even served with one large ice ball. We shared the delicious marinated olives. The crostini was lightly toasted and beautifully displayed. I ordered the sea bass tacos and they were rich and delicious. The real show stopper was their Ad Lib burger. The pretzel bun, dijonaisse Vermont cheddar, truly one of three best burgers ever. Their fries and chips are fresh, made there goodness. Go. This place is great you won't be disappointed."

"We went to this restaurant on Mother's Day. Although we had a reservation, we didn't learn that there was a restricted Prix Fixe Menu in place until we were seated. Despite the restricted menu, which should have taken pressure off the kitchen, the service often was painfully slow, and we waited for over 10 minutes to receive hot beverages when we were seated; four hot dishes appeared several minutes before the other two came out. On the positive side, there is strong evidence of a serious traditionally trained chef reflected in the food. The Hollandaise on the Eggs Florentine was classic and excellent (rather than the glop that is usually served on eggs , well seasoned with tarragon, and the eggs were perfectly cooked. The strip steak was outstanding, and the burger fine, but the duck was mediocre, curiously presented on a bland puree of pea. The breads were standout I am not a big fan of bread, but this bread was well worth eating! Dessert was a platter of 5 elegant confections, two of which were excellent, two of which were good, and one of which was tasteless. Our waiter had an accent (French? that made him hard to understand, and he also seemed to have trouble understanding us when asked about anchovies on a Caesar Salad he told us it was part of the dressing, but it was actually two fish laid on top of the dish (which I would have requested not to have if I had been given correct information . The menu itself was curiously constructed, with explicit information on some dishes, and not much on others. Although this restaurant is meant to be a brasserie model, it lacks the welcoming environment of this kind of setting that is usually established by the host and wait staff the only place this was in evidence was at the bakery, where the service was friendly and attentive. Because of the relatively high quality of the food, it is hoped that this restaurant works on its wait staff and kitchen organization, so that the food is optimally presented."

"Bijou 400 Broadhollow Rd. Melville, NY 11747 (631)755 5777 THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR AN AMAZING TIME ONCE AGAIN. Thanks Wayne Martini for letting me know about the car show and DJ Sal Scott. 7pm reservation and was running so late. Julie (Hostess) was very helpful is changing my reservation 3 times to a later time. 8:30pm. I got there but Julie was gone but of course I left $5 w/mgr Paul. Easy name to remember. That's my hubby's name. Paul was awesome. Very friendly and all smiles. Hostess Lucianna greeted me. I so love her lashes and she was so you happy and all smiles. Very chipper. Great personality. She too got a tip $3. I feel it's great to tip the hostess for when they are nice and helpful to you. I always do. I see Lia(server) and server from last Sunday Brunch. She again was our server but I again tip her $5 to show appreciation. We get seated and I'm dancing on my seat. I make sure to introduce myself to DJ Sal Scott. Lovely fella. Mike says hello to me as well. His the bouncer/security. Omg. He's huge but was a lovely guy. Teddy bear. So so nice, friendly and charming. He introduced me to another security staff that used to be a model. Very lovely fella as well. Nice pretty white front teeth. There was another security guard. Young man that helped take a video for me. I'm so grateful. Thank you so much. Forgot I had my hubby there to take pics videos. Lol. Once again great atmosphere, gorgeous and well dressed guests. Now the food. AMAZING. We get our food but unfortunately there was a misunderstanding. Chan (Mgr) resolved the issue and server still got 20% tip even though he wasn't really around. I saw Oscar and laughed about the error of me calling him Julio for that the name for my primary Dr. He laughed saying no problem. Brussels Sprouts A little crunchy w/garlic and very tasty. Asparagus wonderfully cooked and Parmesan cheese on top. Crispy Fried Calamari w/pepper my absolute fav so delicious. Crispy but soft with a bite. Perfection. Rock Shrimp Fried Shrimp w/peppers delicious sauce. French Fries Golden Crispy French Fries and soft in the middle. I have Mayo with it. Lamb Chops Herb crusted cooked to perfection. "My friend and I dined here pretheatre. While the bar is historic and quite beautiful, the seating for dinner is somewhat cramped. Tables of two sideby side; so close that you can overhear your neighbor's conversations. We chose to share dishes: Fondue with pretzels, charcuterie board and shortrib croquettes. The croquettes arrived first. We both agreed that they were lukewarm to cold, but kept eating. When our server asked how they were, we told her and she offered to take them back. We declined, but moments later another order appeared. Nice touch! However, the new order, although warmer, was still cold inside. The fondue was disappointing. The cheese was bland and hardly smooth and creamy. The pretzels were average. We did enjoy the nice charcuterie board. It contained a variety of meats, cheeses and fruit. Service was efficient, and we had plenty of time to make the show"

"The other reviews are right. We went on a weeknight and it was pretty full. The service is slow from the kitchen and the servers dont know the menu or the bar list. I get that there are 150 kinds of whiskey and scotch on the menu but he didn 't know a lot about it. The food is so so. The spinach ravioli was overcooked and mushy and drowning in sauce. It was too bad, because they used fresh spinach in there and the sauce had a good flavor. The shepards pie came out with a pasty lump of potatoes on top and the french onion soup had barely melted cheese on it. I guess the cooks never heard of broiling to brown the top of things. Again, the flavor was pretty good, but the presentation and finishing touches left a lot to be desired. We asked if there were any scotch or whiskey liquors on the menu. The waiter, of course, did not know, but asked. The answer, no. Really? There are a ton of these things on the market so that was surprising considering this is there differentiator. Fine. I asked if they had decaf coffee. The answer we only have caffeinated. Last week, we had only decaf!! So I asked for any kind of decaf/herbal tea. He brought me two versions of "lightly caffeinated tea! I 'm a tea drinker and I have never heard of this. Odd thing for a bar to have when they dont even have chamomille. Not sure who is ordering supplies, but clearly they need to pull it together. In general however, I liked the place. It fits big groups, wasn 't too too loud and had a fun vibe. The menu was broad enough and the whiskey/scotch selection rocked. I feel like they could make some minor changes, train the staff better and have a real winner."

"Went to the cooking cork once for drinks and bar bites. Ever since then I wanted to go back for dinner. Finally made my way there for their Oktoberfest menu. We started out with bratwurst, pierogies, and their homemade chips with bacon onion dip. No complaints there, they were all delicious. For entrées we had the Wienerschnitzel, which was part of the Oktoberfest menu. It came with Spoetzl, red, cabbage, sautéed zucchini, and a super busy, rich gravy. The Wienerschnitzel was crispy and light, fried to perfection. We also tried the ribeye steak which was cooked perfectly. Served with some mashed potatoes, topped with bacon and cheddar and baked for a nice crust. We ended with a apple strudel and a chocolate cherry bread pudding. Food was absolutely delicious! Service was a bit slow, which was surprising, but the food was definitely worth another visit."

"The Wayward is a rather fun whimsical full bar with lots of craft beers, free popcorn, and a classic motorcycle suspended from the ceiling. It is not, however, a biker bar. In fact., the patrons seem to be rather upper class and all are very friendly. I had a couple of mixed drinks which were done with a generous pour of spirits while enjoying the good ambiance of the place. To have a good drink, and enjoy the ambiance of a fun bar, The Wayward is certainly worth a stop."

"Food was incredible, Beer was good. Might be a trans safe space, but isn't a wallet safe space. Dropped my wallet, went to the bathroom came back to the table cleaned and the wallet gone from underneath. Either the waiter or the busboy snagged it. Wish they would've just taken the 80 bucks and left the wallet. Won't be back but it's a shame because the food and beer was great!"

"Tiny Lou’s is a basic Instagram Influencer’s wet dream. Lots of photo ops but nary a good dish! We had a GREAT server, Fiona, who suggested all of the dishes cocktails we were excited to try. The Good Their new signature cocktail, the Ango Colada, was delicious! Rum, bitters, pineapple juice, coconut milk, and lime make for an excellent drink. The OverHyped Buratta Bread Service. Our bread was not freshly baked. The buratta in the center was ice cold and the bread was fall apart crusty, not pillowy. Our serving was a leftover piece from the day before and reheated. This was the start to our meal and pretty much set the tone… The Flavorless The French Onion Soup was so oily and flavorless. The dish is lacking salt and the onions were actually still crunchy. The Claremont Burger is an unseasonable patty of beef cooked within an inch of its death. This was ordered at a medium temperature and came out well done. The fries that accompanied this burger were so salty, they should have been added to the soup! The OverCooked and OverSalted The Hanger Steak (ordered medium) and Truffle Fries arrived as one charred brick of well done steak along with the saltiest fries ever. The truffle and Parmesan smelled wonderful when the plate was presented, but the fries were inedible due to the amount of salt that covered them. We were really disappointed in the whole meal as the service, cocktails and restaurant are wonderful. Adding t Tiny Lou’s to the ‘one and done’ list."

"The service and ambiance here was excellent. The menu was very well rounded. We got filet mignon and Royal Red Shrimp to share with salads, sauteed garlic mushrooms and baked potato. There were baskets of a variety of breads and two kinds of butter. Truffles were provided at the end of the meal. It was a beautiful dining experience!"

"The only improvement that would earn this place a full five-star rating for service would be for the blonde-haired waitress, who overlooked our empty wine glasses and forgot to bring knives and a to-go cup for the coffee when we requested them. However, I absolutely love this restaurant! The brunette waitress was outstanding; we started and ended our meal with her. I apologize for not remembering anyone's names, but we will definitely return because the food and wine selection are fantastic!"

"The prices are quite high for what I found to be just average food quality, so I cannot recommend this expensive restaurant to anyone. The fries were overly salty, and while we also ordered creamed spinach, it was just okay. Additionally, the waiter charged us for two iced teas when we had only ordered one, and we were billed for four sodas instead of three. When I inquired about bread, the waiter replied that we would need to order it, unlike other establishments where it is typically complimentary. There are plenty of better steak restaurants in the area, such as Ruth's Chris and Capital Grill at Tysons, that offer superior food and similar prices. I would advise against spending your money here, as it’s simply not worth it. We won’t be returning to American Prime, and I suggest looking for other places that provide better ambiance and service, as this one was just average.
