"The chaats were disappointing. The papdi chaat was lacking nearly every spice, resulting in a bland and soggy dish. There was barely a hint of yogurt, and the sweet chutney was more sour than sweet, missing any spice or chili flavor. The Gobi Manchurian resembled a large cauliflower tree (it's important to break down the florets and crisp them up), and it was soggy as well! Surprisingly, the flavor was better than its appearance suggested. The samosa chaat was decent—while not exactly gourmet, it did have some identifiable flavors. However, it lacked the crispy edges typical of samosas and resembled more of a potato patty than a proper samosa, making it feel more like an aloo patty chaat instead. As for the vegetable biryani, I can't comment since they forgot to include it and asked me to return in person for a credit or to pick it up again. The paneer was average as well—nothing special, and while the cubes were soft, the curry was rather ordinary. The naan, on the other hand, was simply undercooked and felt raw."

"First time back after Covid and was sad to learn the place had changed ownership. They still had desserts and a salad bar. The familiar dishes were still on the buffet. However, the taste isn’t how I remembered it to be. A little bit bland. Also, their mango ice cream, an old time favorite tasted more of cream than mango. They still provide naan on the side but this time, we only got 2 pieces of naan( 1/2 of a naan each). Staff looked angry and not at all attentive. In the past, if we ran out of naan, the kind lady would ask if we needed more naan. I won’t return."

"It won’t allow me to post without giving a single star so the lone star, for my experience I won’t even give this restaurant a half star as well. I usually don’t write reviews but I couldn’t stop myself not writing it. We have been to this restaurant on Sunday evening for dinner and wow it was a disaster, we order a mutton and chicken biryani and both were to the worst of their core. The mutton biryani was horrible, the meat was completely burnt outside and uncooked inside with raw smell. Whatever saalan on side they gave was just the leftover with lots of water added to it. I even asked the waiter if this is really a fresh one he was scared enough to give me the honest answer and I don’t blame him for that, but I believe for a reputation what they have they could at least serve better food. No, I can eat some junk outside but I ain’t going to this restaurant ever, thank you Bawarchi."

"The name being “Glory of India”? I don’t think so. More like disappointment. I hate to leave bad reviews but people need to know how awful it was. If I cooked like that I would NOT open a restaurant OMG. Where do I even begin?. So the goat curry and lamb vindaloo were soupy and watery, did not cling to the rice at all, they just drained to the bottom of the plate. The “onion salad” was a joke, basically just a red onion cut up with a couple jalapeño peppers in it and no dressing, just 2 lemon wedges. The naan was seriously lacking flavor. The portions were tiny. Almost no lamb in the lamb vindaloo. The portions of rice pudding are basically in a container u would use for dressing or a condiment tiny. They were watery and WAY too sweet! Just awful. The coconut soup was basically just coconut. I didn’t try it but needless to say most of it was left. I leave one start reviews for places I will never go to again and would never recommend and this restaurant definitely didn’t even earn the one star. I will mention one thing, my friend enjoyed the meal which I was shocked to hear, so to defend those who actually gave more than one star, I guess some people’s palates are much more forgiving. I have had Indian food plenty of times and NEVER EVER was the lamb vindaloo and goat curry watery and greasy like that. If I could sum up the entire experience in one word it would be DISAPPOINTING. And to add insult to injury, it was kind of expensive for those portion sizes!"

"This restaurant is incredibly authentic and serves every customer diligently. The staff is fantastic, and the food is delicious. We enjoyed some chicken tikka masala, vindaloo, and naan. We also had some wine and Taj Mahal beer. Overall, we had a great time at this place and highly recommend it to everyone."

"This is one of my favorite restaurants in the upstate because their food is always fantastic and the atmosphere is amazing. That being said, I just reheated leftovers from my meal there last night and found a baby roach in my food. It went directly from the bowl on the table to the box to the fridge so there's almost no chance of it having gotten in after leaving the restaurant, and it was mixed into the lamb korma so well I barely saw it in the first place. Food was lovely but I might hesitate to eat here again after this experience... I ate most of the meal between last night and today before finding that roach and lord knows if there was anything else in there. Extra protein, I guess."

"I recently dined at Aga’s Dining Restaurant, and it was a highly disappointing experience. The food was among the worst I have ever tasted. The flavors were off, and the dishes were poorly prepared. Specifically, the curry lamb was terrible—the vegetables were overcooked, the curry was bland, and the overall presentation was unappetizing. Moreover, the prices were excessively high given the quality of the food. It felt like a complete rip-off. Aga’s Dining Restaurant is certainly not worth a visit or the money. I would not recommend this place to anyone seeking a pleasant dining experience."

"I'm disappointed! I'm not sure what has changed at Hyderabad House since my last visit earlier this year, but something's definitely off. The butter chicken we had was of low quality. We typically order butter chicken from here about 3-4 times a year because it used to be my favorite spot for it. That has changed. Tonight's butter chicken was basically swimming in fat, and there were barely four pieces of chicken in it. For $15, I felt completely ripped off. This experience has definitely pushed my butter chicken-loving self to seek other options. I'm hesitant to give them another chance because they must have known that serving a bowl with so little chicken was unacceptable. Kinnara's butter chicken for $16 is a much better value, and while I always preferred the version from Hyderabad House, I’ll definitely miss the old, less greasy recipe!"

"As soon as you enter this restaurant you are greeted with the delicious smell of Indian spices. It was an amazing experience that I would love to enjoy again. This restaurant is sure to satisfy your cravings and your taste buds in one sitting. We ordered the Chicken Samosas, Butter Chicken, Mushroom Mutter, and Chicken Tikka. The samosas were filled with delicious chicken. The outside was a bit bready for my liking, but that’s fine. The butter chicken took my breath away. Oh my god the butter chicken is soooo delicious. It comes with a bowl of rice which perfectly compliments it. The rice was perfectly cooked and further brought out the deliciousness of the butter chicken. The mushroom mutter was delicious. It had a nutty taste to it and was served with nice and tender mushrooms. It didn’t come with rice tho. The chicken tikka was perfect. This famous dish will be famous with your taste buds too. The Tomato sauce perfectly accompanies the marinated chicken. It was amazing. The employees were so kind and helpful. They had no problem changing the recipe to make it less spicy. They were even kind enough to answer all our questions. They truly made the experience more wonderful. TLDR: clean restaurant with beautiful decor and delicious food with amazing staff. 10/10 would recommend"

"Horrible oily food and Rude Staff! Being an Indian I can tell you how bad the food is I could taste the substandard spices used and the old oil. The quantities are also very small of the curries. They give priorities to DoorDash and take-out orders. Food is served late and cold to on-premise customers. When we gave feedback to the staff they started arguing with us instead. Do Not Recommend this place to any one. Service: Dine in"

"This was our favorite Indian restaurant 20 years ago. We hadn't been in a long time since we had moved to another part of the city. We moved back to this area and thought it would be fun to go back there. Never again. We waited an hour for our food which was simply awful!!! The naan fell apart and the insides looked like cat food, really! My Chicken Vindaloo was the worst that I have ever had and my husband's shrimp was burnt to the point that it tasted like nothing. He never came to check on us and when I asked for a second cup of tea, he charged me for it!!! I had waited almost fifteen minutes to get it and we were done eating and waiting for the bill. No chutneys were given with the naan. If this was my first Indian food experience, I would never eat it again. Go to Taj Mahal in Hales Corners if you want good Indian food with great service. Avoid this place. And there was a fly trap on one light fixture and some sort of food drippings next to me on the wall. Just gross!!!"

"I was only given a day's notice to find catering for our work Thanksgiving celebration, and everyone had agreed that we wanted Indian, Nepalese, or Tibetan food for lunch. I was concerned about finding a place that could accommodate such a last-minute request. To my pleasant surprise, Everest Cuisine was able to take our order with just 24 hours’ notice. Not only was the food outstanding, but the customer service I received while placing the order was exceptional. Everything was packaged beautifully, and nothing spilled during my 20-minute drive back to the office! I had never tried this restaurant before, and I am thrilled with the level of care, delicious food, and excellent service provided. I can't wait to dine in with my family soon— the atmosphere in the dining area was lovely."

"I used to really love going to the buffet here. It was really good. They recently moved and I think they changed kitchen staff. The buffet now is super meat heavy. Almost all the vegetarian dishes had cheese in them. We also ordered a la cart a few months ago. The taste and the quality of the food seems to have diminished. In an area with lots of Indian restaurants, vegetarians and vegans can try something much better. Taj Grill, Star of India and Jewel of India are a few."

"I came in here today to have some indian food and the waiter advises to me that they are all out of indian food at the moment and just have indo chinese. I decided to give it a try which was a big mistake because the food honestly tasted as if they used frozen packets from the grocery store to make the meal. Additionally someone a few minutes later came in and asked for butter chicken and he glady said he could make. Avoid this place at all costs."

"Ok, this was my first time trying Indian cuisine. I've heard about the abundance of spices and that the taste can be astounding. I also went with a friend that has eaten Indian food before so was trying a different place. Chicken Biryani (Boneless) is what I had. The portion was enough to eat three meals. I asked for medium on the spiciness and was PERFECT for my liking. The rice and vegetables mixed with these perfectly grilled chicken made a believer out of me and will be back. My friend had the Butter Chicken and thought Persis's version was better than the place she was going!!! Service was swift and were checked on consistently."

"My friend and I arrived 10 minutes early to our reservation and waited until our reservation time, which was fair. It took about 7 minutes for anyone to come to our table, and when our server did come, he did not give us any type of greeting, but only asked us what we wanted to order. We first ordered 2 glasses of wine, 2 entrees and 2 orders of naan. We received our wine 30 minutes after ordering, only after we flagged someone down to remind them, and then our food 10 minutes after that. We could tell it was starting to get busy, but what we noticed most is that a lot of action was coming from constant carry out orders (which is great). The food was great, we ordered the lamb vindaloo and chicken tikka masala. The portions were good, and we would definitely come back for the food, but would probably order carry out like everyone else."

"This restaurant is a hidden gem. While the south Indian dishes were not quite up to par, it's clear that their expertise lies in north Indian cuisine. The staff is friendly and provides excellent service. Convenient street parking is a plus. Vegetarians will find plenty of options, including Veg, daal, and paneer dishes. This is a great spot for a casual lunch, with prices ranging from $10 to $20 per person. Overall, the food was rated a 3, service a 5, and atmosphere a 3."

"Taste of India is a tucked away unique establishment that is family run and offers fresh-tasting authentic Indian cuisine. Our decision to try this cozy restaurant one evening turned out to be a terrific idea. We entered the venue and were seated in a comfortable booth as we were approached by a smiling server, received menus, and were warmly welcomed to the restaurant. Our bottle of wine was opened and poured, as we started to review the menus to decide what our evening indulgence would be. A multitude of options awaits patrons at Taste of India. After several minutes debating our dinner options, we placed our orders, sipped our wine, and settled in for a meal we would not soon forget. Garlic Naan Our order of Garlic Naan $2.50) was hot, freshly-baked, and flavorful with the addition of fresh garlic and parsley. It was a sufficient amount of bread for the two of us, and we found it to be of excellent quality. Steamed Basmati Rice, Raita, and Accompanying Indian Sauces Additionally, r"
