"The ambiance is the best part of this restaurant. I’m from NYC and aside from NYC and Las Vegas I would think Miami would have great food. I got the high spirits drink which was delicious. I was disappointed with the food at Jaya. I got the Miami Spice menu and had the truffle dumplings and wok fried beef. The dumplings were good because of the truffle but the scallops inside didn’t taste fresh. The wok friend beef was average. My boyfriend got chicken fried rice and it was so plain, no taste whatsoever. The cream puff dessert was good, though the puff was so hard it was difficult to break a piece off with the spoons they gave us. Our waiter was consistent at the beginning, once our food came we never saw him again until he brought us the check. Thankfully there was plenty of other staff that came to refill our water or ask how the food was because our waiter would’ve never known if we needed anything. Overall if you’re looking for a picturesque spot or Instagram worthy post go for a drink, save your money on the food"

"I encountered one of the rudest individuals I've ever met. Being in a hospital, I expected better customer service. I went in to grab a cup of coffee, and the man at the register was focused on trying to locate a missing check instead of acknowledging me. Fortunately, another gentleman at the counter did recognize me. However, while I was waiting, a man walked in, and suddenly, the first employee saw him and greeted him by name. He then left to fetch the usual for that customer, leaving me standing there. I eventually walked out. You’ve lost my business. There are plenty of other cafés and restaurants that truly understand the importance of customer service."

"Best experiences ever. Highly recommended. I have been there a couple of times during my last visit to New York. Menu gives you a wide choice no matter whether you are having breakfast, lunch just some snacks or a proper dinner. Service is usually veryfast and waiters take good care of you refills are always done in time, food quality is always checked by them so you do notneed to worry about anything you can be sure you are in good hands. Coffee is good. Internet states they operate non-stop butin reality they close around 2 am. Opens very early. Besides traditional American food they do also Italian and a littleMexican too. Prices are good especially comparing to the food quantity and quality they serve. If you are hungry and want tospend some time in a traditional American diner with quality food good service and where you can be sure you leave with a bigsmile on your face this is your place to go."

"I ordered $70 of food and gave a simple request to separate the order in two .. going to two different places ?(3 items only in the order) well due to the ignorance stupidly or laziness of the person that took the order it got mixed up and the orders are now garbage due to one person doesn?t eat chicken and the other doesn?t eat steak ..I called and was told if I brought back the food they would make me new ? so again like every instance now a days no one takes responsibility.. I?d have to spend an hour getting the correct food ? I knew I should have orders from Andrew?s diner .all of Mikes diners are dumps anyway"

"Neal's Coffee Shop offers a complete diner experience with friendly and attentive staff who make sure your table is well taken care of and your drinks are never empty. The menu features consistent, healthy portion sizes. While parking can be a bit tricky, the location inside a supermarket means a short walk after parking. Although I don’t drink coffee, I noticed many customers placing preorders during my visit. The breakfast options are excellent, with a great variety to choose from. Nearby shops make it convenient for a quick bite on the go. The restrooms are clean and well-maintained."

"We recently celebrated a birthday party for one of our group at Jacky's. It was a nice touch for the owner to write "happy birthday" in chocolate sauce on the cake and to decorate a candle for the birthday boy. However, a significant part of our experience was the incredibly slow food service. Luckily, we weren’t in a rush, but it took a very long time to receive our food, particularly the sushi. This was by far the slowest service I have ever encountered."

"I look for restaurants that have Dover Sole Meunière in their menus, so I found Jubilee. It's a French restaurant on 1st Ave 52 Street. The Dover Sole Meunière was very delicious; I really liked it. But it's the attentiveness of the host and the server that completed the experience for me. I asked for a booth and I was given a booth in a hospitable manner. That got me to feel comfortable in the place! I also ordered the Duo of French White and Green Asparagus upon the server's recommendation. It's from the daily specials, and it was pleasing to my eyes as well as tasty. I wish the butternut squash soup didn't have chicken broth and the fish soup didn't contain alcohol! (Hopefully, they read my review and make the changes) Still, I highly recommend this restaurant for its ambience, service, and the Dover Sole Meunière!"

"First let me say that I always submit reviews when they are positive and try to avoid submitting negative reviews because restaurants can have off nights. However, this time there were too many negatives to not say something. We selected Portland City Grill because our aging parents hadn 't been there before and we wanted to treat them to a really nice meal where they could see the city lights. We were disappointed in the changes since we last visited. Our waitress was nice and started out attentive, but she disappeared (at least 20 minutes) after taking our order an didn 't check in with us during our meal...the other wait staff delivered food, filled water, cleared the table and delivered the dessert menu in her absence. When she did return, she just said that she was 'slammed ' and took our dessert order. Again, she disappeared and only returned to give us the bill. I had to stop her from leaving the table to tell her that some of the seafood was not prepared well and was either old or overcooked. She apologized and said she would tell the cooks. The manager came over to inquire and he ended up comping us a meal. Midway through our meal, it got so loud that we could hardly hear what our parents were saying across the table from us. This used to be a really nice place with reliable food and a fine dining experience. We will not return anytime soon."

"beach music, friendly staff, chipper decoration and fast service. the kitchen agreed to cook my food in real butter on request. my waitress did an excellent work, in between it went. the gries are huge and the perfect mix of creamy and chewing. the speck comes thick cut and fleshy. the sniper eggs have this wonderfully thin texture they can only get on a grill. and they make cruel in a French toast! they come early and they could also see some built firefighters. just a question, real cream for the coffee, please?"

"First time here and really enjoyed ourselves! Buffalo wings were DAM GOOD!!!! Waffle was good too not overpowering with toppings and strawberries were FRESH! Caesar salad was large but very fresh and tasty! Everything was fresh. Waiters were very friendlyand helpful. We kind of stumbled into the lady who served us because the first waiter may not have wanted to. It worked outbecause our waiter was good and very attentive. Lastly I was not paying attention when paying my bill by card and intended onleaving a 10.00 tip but it totaled 16. The employee who rang us up immediately came into the parking lot searching for us. Notknowing why she was outside I honked and yes she wanted to alert me that I left a larger tip than I may have thought. I askedthe lady to leave it alone and give the waiter the entire tip. I truly appreciate the honesty and professionalism beyond wordsand would definitely recommend this place for good food and honest service!"

"Our aerver Diane was amazing. Peraonally find the manu a bit limited, tuna carpaccio was excellent, oysters were miniature and for sure not expected in NoLa, osobucco was good, good wine selection and options. Fish entree was very well plated (did not taste it) but the star was de cacio e pepe pasta we ordered to share as a side (not available as a side) desserts were ok. The only downside was we ordered some bread (2 orders of tuna carpaccio and not even a little cracker available) and we received 3 slices of a very poor looking oil impregnated bread.. and were told we will be charged for it.. we asked for the manager, saw the guy walking around and not willing to stop and talk… we sent the “bread” back and asked our server to remove ot from our check……."

"It’s a diner. I hold a bias against diners. A lot of food, not a lot of quality. I have been here twice and will likely go back. Not because of the atmosphere, service, or food, nope it is a diner, and it smells and feels like one. I’m sure you know what I mean. 60-year vintage diner furniture, smell of burned oil and “oldness.” I’ll go back, mainly because the crew likes diners and sometimes you don’t get your way. "It was a birthday dinner. We hadn’t been together as a group for a year due to COVID, so we were really looking forward to it. We picked MGFD because it’s consistently good and most central to us all. The experience was horrible from the start. We waited a long while just to get water, and longer for the drinks. They arrived after our appetizers. We ordered the whole snapper who unbeknownst to us was at least an hour wait. I wish the sever would’ve mentioned that as they held the rest of our food with it. They tried bringing us chips; however it was in no ones interest. To make a long story shorter, most of the food quality was still what was expected, but the service was horrible and to make it worse, when the manager approached us to apologize, he offered us complimentary deserts as it was a birthday celebration, and never did one arrive at the table. We were there hours, and it was the longest meal I’ve had to wait for in my life. I don’t even think the fish was started til after and hour and a half into our visit. The hamburger was completely over cooked or left sitting waiting for the fish and it kept cooking itself. Regardless, the birthday girl, a foodie, was more than disappointed by the experience. This is my first and hopefully my only poor review on this site. Best"

"I recently visited this amazing deli on a trip to visit my daughter at Columbia University. First, the staff was very welcoming and so very friendly. The food was amazing. I got the triple decker turkey club and it was literally the freshest club I've ever eaten. This establishment represents everything a 5 start small buisness should represent. I also visited IL Panino PIzzaria beside it and the pizza was absolutely delicious. This will be my go to stop when visiting NYC."
