"I visited this restaurant for the first time with a client/friend for lunch yesterday. I was pleasantly surprised by the charming interior of the place. Although it is hidden in a shopping center, parking can be a bit of a challenge due to the many businesses and restaurants in the area. However, it is worth waiting for a spot to open up. Our waitress, Cheryl, provided excellent service even though the restaurant was not very busy. I would expect the same level of service during busier times, as we dined for a later lunch after the crowd had left. I ordered the special: pan-seared sablefish with spicy collard greens, and it was delicious. If you prefer less spice, you can ask them to hold back on it. My client tried the carbonara and absolutely loved it. We will definitely be returning. "

"We really enjoy this neighborhood restaurant. The food is consistently good. The only negative is the timing of the food coming out of the kitchen. We ordered salads, appetizers, pizza, and some main dishes and there was no order to how the food came out. We received main dishes before appetizers and then the pizza was the very last thing to come out. We really do enjoy this restaurant but I do think they need to sort out the timing of food coming out of the kitchen."

"My best friend and I were celebrating her birthday at a restaurant in another state. The start of our experience was not great as we were ignored and rushed by our first waiter. Despite this, we tried to remain positive and stayed. When our waiter rushed us to close out and passed us onto someone else without any service, we decided to speak to the manager. Donnie, the manager, was fantastic. He apologized sincerely and took care of us, ensuring our experience ended on a delightful note. We truly appreciated the effort and will definitely be returning in the future."

"Restaurant is beautiful but it is way overpriced!! And the quality does not align with the prices! I had the Bronzino and it was sitting in about a quarter of an inch of oil.. We also happen to have a cheeseburger that comes on a narrow rectangle piece of bread and the cheese was about a half an inch thick and the burger was very very greasy definitely not the type of quality food I would expect from a place like this ... One more thing I ordered Cappuccino at the end of the meal which was six dollars and then they had the nerve to add another dollar for almond milk.. I really think they better get things straight here before it's too late !! I think it would be nice one night for the chef To join the patrons in the restaurant and really see what the food is coming out of the kitchen like to realize it's not acceptable in my opinion... "I absolutely give Fiora's restaurant five stars. It was a wonderful experience from start to finish. We had their wonderful chicken salad, fantastic crab cakes, and all of the staff were welcoming and accommodating in this wonderful Geneva Illinois restaurant. It is almost as if we stumbled on a diamond in the rough. Paul the owner was welcoming and allowed us to share in this wonderful lunch experience in such a beautiful small Illinois town. all of the wait staff were utterly fantastic and allowed us to customize our menu choices and we really appreciate that. I absolutely give Fiora's in Geneva Illinois 5 stars!"

"Made a last minute reservation for an upper patio seating at 7:45 pm on a Saturday night. At the time we made the reservation, all the later times were open and all the seating options were available. When we arrived, we had to wait 20 mins, but it was only due to an issue that another guest had and they were in front of us in line. Food tasted great. Ordered the special of the day, salmon and it wasnt dry. Husband ordered the Bistro BLT. Bacon and pattu was juicy, but they werent really generous with the condiments. The waiting area was small, so people who sat at the lower patio area had to deal with the line of people and the amount of people standing around waiting for their table. Felt overcrowded. Overall, I would definitely come back. Felt like our fancy night for the weekend as people were dressed fancy casual and I always love the fancy feel of a candlelit dinner."

"Once my date arrived, he did warm up a bit while taking our order for drinks and dinner, but he still fell short of providing good service. And the food? It was absolutely terrible. Things only got worse from there. I don’t know what happened to that first bartender, as I don’t remember seeing him again that night. The next bartender was a complete disappointment. He was younger, and right away I noticed his friends came in and sat next to us at the bar. They were loud, obnoxious, and quite drunk. Instead of managing the situation, he focused all his attention on them, completely neglecting us and the other customers. I had to restrain myself from confronting those two bothersome loudmouths as well as the bartender. At one point, I even considered sarcastically asking one of them if they could ask their buddy behind the bar to get us a drink! By the end of the night, I should have demanded that our entire meal and drinks be comped. The staff and management should have stepped in and kicked those two out, and I believe that bartender should be fired! It’s safe to say I won’t be returning!"

"We made reservations a month in advance for my son's 29th birthday at CIAO. We were looking forward to it as CIAO has always been reliable in the past. When making the reservation, I mentioned it was my son's birthday and requested a cake or some kind of recognition. We arrived at 6:30 for our reservation and were seated right away, but we waited 30 minutes for our server to come to our table. After ordering, drinks and salads arrived, but unfortunately there was a hair in my daughter-in-law's salad. Despite bringing it to the waiter's attention, he did not acknowledge it or offer an apology. When the food arrived, my son's steak was cooked rare instead of medium, and the server did not address it even when my son didn't eat it. We left the restaurant feeling disappointed and frustrated, as they never acknowledged my son's birthday and there was no cake. Overall, it was a waste of 2 hours and $280."

"Crab dip was below average but steamed prawns were great. The server never cleared the table before bringing more food out. Then the runner looked confused when I asked them to remove the dirty plates first. My husband noticed that the building was under negative air pressure caused by the hood of the kitchen hood (sucked in doors of the kitchen parlor) which caused hot, humid outside air to pour into the restaurant when the outside doors opened. Sit away from the doors if you want air conditioning. Outdoor seating looked nice and led to a long pier on the water."

"I had originally booked a reservation for 25 people at City Winery for my birthday party, but they were unable to accommodate us. Fortunately, we ended up at Bar Lupo and I couldn't be happier with our decision. The highlights of our experience were the $25 bottomless wine with a choice of white, rose, or red, the delicious food, and the excellent service. We were given our own private room in the back where Hannah, our server, took amazing care of us. Our glasses were never empty and she was attentive throughout the entire evening. She even split our checks for us! The food was fantastic, with generous portions and delicious flavors. My personal favorites were the tagliolini and dip in the pot bread. Even my friends who had never been before were impressed and are looking forward to coming back. The birthday sorbet they served was a nice touch as well. The atmosphere at Bar Lupo is intimate and inviting, with cozy lighting, candles, and a great layout. It's the perfect spot for a girls' night out, a romantic date, or a birthday celebration. Huge thanks to Bar Lupo for helping make my birthday a huge success!"

"Hidden Gem I have to preface this review as follows: my father was a professionally trained chef and my grandmother was without a doubt the best cook in the world. Josie's Italian restaurant is without a doubt the BEST Italian food and service in South Florida! Coming from New Jersey, we know excellent Italian food when we taste it! Our server, Daniel, was AMAZING; he was helpful, attentive and extremely personable. His menu suggestions were spot on and his knowledge of the menu was impressive. We began our meal with a phenomenal Fresh Tomato Bruschetta and the equally amazing Baked Stuffed Clams. Our entrees of Chicken Francese and Chopped Antipasto Salad were not only delicious but plentiful. The only mistake we made was not saving room for dessert. As Delray residents, you can be certain that we will be regulars at this homey establishment."

"I came here today for brunch based on the reviews, but was highly disappointed. The leg/thigh piece of my chicken waffles was served with blood inside, which is not only unappetizing but also a health concern. When I pointed this out to first the wait staff and then the manager, their response was not just disappointing; it was infuriating. They argued that the undercooked chicken was perfectly normal due to sous vide cooking and insisted that I shouldn 't be worried about getting sick. I had to cut off both of them to say I’m not going to argue nor am I interested in excuses about their cooking methods. I expected a basic level of customer service as how I wanted my meal prepared. This restaurant 's dismissive attitude towards my concerns is inexcusable. It 's crucial for any dining establishment to prioritize the well-being of its customers, and this restaurant failed miserably. The manager finally removed the dish from my meal, but by then I had lost my appetite because of the way I was treated. Of all the restaurants available in Bethesda alone, I will be finding another option to enjoy my Sunday brunch and spend my money."

"Have been here a few times now and it's also consistent. Friendly staff. Comfortable seating area both in and outside. My most recent visit I ordered the baked English muffin breakfast sandwich with ham egg and cheese. Complimented that with an americano. The sandwich was great. Tasted fresh, clean and loved the baked egg component. It's a light meal but perfect for me. Simple ingredients go a long way. Would and will come back again."

"I give this a 5/5 for our expectations as a whole. we have booked a table for 10 for my man birthday and planned to stop only friends on a Saturday afternoon. all commented on how large the room is - very large and open. they had tvs with football matches, although the televisions are not super big. the wall art was funny and they have a pretty big fish tank. our favorite part was eating and drinking. they had big beers or flights, and also not bier alternatives: really something for everyone. reasonable prices and delicious wings, brussels sprouts, chicken sandwich and much more. our NUR complaint was that they were out of their maid. we're coming back!"

"This was my second time trying Roca‘s pizza and pasta. I was not impressed the first time but thought because we live close I will give it a second try. However, the food was no better than the first time that we tried it. Very disappointed in the charcuterie board, The meat was dry and did not taste like it should have, it lacked substance and flavor. I expected fresh chicken to go on top of my Cesar salad and when it arrived cold and cut up into tiny chunks it was disappointing. The children’s menu should come with a meat options other than the meatballs, children need protein. I don’t know if I will give this place another try was hopeful That the neighborhood had a good authentic place to eat Italian however this is not the case."

"We chose this restaurant after viewing the menu online, reasonable pricing and proximity to special event that we needed to attend immediately after dinner. Proximity was probably the most important thing. So when it came to dinner time, I had my fingers crossed that the food would be good. After all, I was entertaining clients and didn't want to look bad, right? We arrived 15 minutes early and were sat immediately even though only half our group was there. Our table was right under the a/c and created really cold chairs (we were all dressed up in fancy Summer dresses with open backs and the chairs were made of metal, so it felt freezing); we asked if it could be turned down, and it was resolved immediately. Then when presented with the menu, everything sounded just as great as I hoped. I ordered the crab cakes and while surprised that only one arrived on my plate, it was the best I ever had, so who cares? [don't offer to share this dish! There were 14 of us and the bill came in under $1000. Factors that made it more affordable was that there was only 2 rounds of drinks and one bottle of wine purchased (and that was Champagne), so I was very happy with my investment. I will definitely be treating my clients here again when I am in NY!"
