"We made reservations a month in advance for my son's 29th birthday at CIAO. We were looking forward to it as CIAO has always been reliable in the past. When making the reservation, I mentioned it was my son's birthday and requested a cake or some kind of recognition. We arrived at 6:30 for our reservation and were seated right away, but we waited 30 minutes for our server to come to our table. After ordering, drinks and salads arrived, but unfortunately there was a hair in my daughter-in-law's salad. Despite bringing it to the waiter's attention, he did not acknowledge it or offer an apology. When the food arrived, my son's steak was cooked rare instead of medium, and the server did not address it even when my son didn't eat it. We left the restaurant feeling disappointed and frustrated, as they never acknowledged my son's birthday and there was no cake. Overall, it was a waste of 2 hours and $280."

Great date night spot. Food was phenomenal. It was relatively quick service for being Valentine’s Day. Staff was friendly and helpful with menu items. We each had different martinis that were delicious. Would definitely go again. View menu

A family member told us about Ciao Italian Bistro Wine Bar being their favorite restaurant here in Fenton. Our first time dining there last night, the food was fantastic, service outstanding (Bryce was our server) he couldn't have been friendlier, the atmosphere was also cozy. Hoping to return soon, one of the best restaurants we've experienced since moving here last month. Service: Dine in View menu

We went in for dinner, its was unusually slow and our service still wasn't great. Wasn't offered cheese on the pasta, didn't see our server often. I wish they would change the menu up a bit, no spaghetti, no fettuccini Alfredo. After we received our bill I heard another table offered a charcuterie board special our server did not mention to us that was not on the specials list and I would have absolutely ordered. Service: Dine in

My wife and I came to this restaurant to celebrate our 1st anniversary. Our waitress, Gabrielle, was very attentive and polite. She asked if we were celebrating anything special and made sure our anniversary was perfect. The food was fantastic, although I found the prices of the steaks to be a little high. The rest of the menu was reasonably priced. The tiramisu was the best we have ever had, even better than the ones we had in Italy. Overall, the food was very good. We will definitely be returning in the future.

"I really love Crust and go all the time to their location in the Flint Farmers Market. I was in Fenton today and decided to stop into their main location. It really pains me to say that I was disappointed because that 's not what I wanted to write about this place. I am sure it was great. I was going to grab a crusty loaf of bread and some salted butter to make grilled cheese at home....only to find out no real loaves to speak of but two plain loaves presliced that were hidden away behind glass and other goodies I barely noticed them. Decided to just grab a sandwich out of the deli case and a specialty cold brew coffee from their barista recommendation board. To my surprise when I was rung up and it cost just over $19!!!! There was no price displayed on the sandwich and I noticed that the other drinks had a $6-8 price range. So my sandwich cost potentially anywhere from $11-$13 and it was dry...there was one mayo packet and one Dijon and I had to take a sip after every bite to get it down. So much so that the other half I just opened up and ate the components separate from one another. I could see the cost of this included some sort of side like a bag of chips or a pickle so it was more of a meal . Will say the atmosphere is great and the staff very nice, friendly, and helpful. Will definitely go back as I really do enjoy them. Would love to check out the restaurant itself.l for sure at some point."
