"We made reservations a month in advance for my son's 29th birthday at CIAO. We were looking forward to it as CIAO has always been reliable in the past. When making the reservation, I mentioned it was my son's birthday and requested a cake or some kind of recognition. We arrived at 6:30 for our reservation and were seated right away, but we waited 30 minutes for our server to come to our table. After ordering, drinks and salads arrived, but unfortunately there was a hair in my daughter-in-law's salad. Despite bringing it to the waiter's attention, he did not acknowledge it or offer an apology. When the food arrived, my son's steak was cooked rare instead of medium, and the server did not address it even when my son didn't eat it. We left the restaurant feeling disappointed and frustrated, as they never acknowledged my son's birthday and there was no cake. Overall, it was a waste of 2 hours and $280."

A family member told us about Ciao Italian Bistro Wine Bar being their favorite restaurant here in Fenton. Our first time dining there last night, the food was fantastic, service outstanding (Bryce was our server) he couldn't have been friendlier, the atmosphere was also cozy. We went in for dinner, its was unusually slow and our service still wasn't great. Wasn't offered cheese on the pasta, didn't see our server often. I wish they would change the menu up a bit, no spaghetti, no fettuccini Alfredo. After we received our bill I heard another table offered a charcuterie board special our server did not mention to us that was not on the specials list and I would have absolutely ordered. My wife and I came to this restaurant to celebrate our 1st anniversary. Our waitress, Gabrielle, was very attentive and polite. She asked if we were celebrating anything special and made sure our anniversary was perfect. The food was fantastic, although I found the prices of the steaks to be a little high. The rest of the menu was reasonably priced. The tiramisu was the best we have ever had, even better than the ones we had in Italy. Overall, the food was very good. We will definitely be returning in the future.
