"PERFECT...The staff went out of their way to present an outstanding evening. Very warm and friendly greeting upon arrival. Rose petals on the table as well as a small vase with a rose. Staff came right over and poured a complimentary sparkling wine. The service was outstanding. They never rush you in this restaurant. Live entertainment was great in the background. As always the food was very good. Ownership was present to make sure everything was going smoothly. Outstanding evening. I highly recommend this restaurant. We are looking forward to their upcoming Steakhouse Wine Dinner . Thanks !"

"It was very easy to make a reservation and I was impressed with that. We arrived at the restaurant and we waited for about eight minutes for someone to even acknowledge us. When someone did, I was approached as pointed finger ant me and asked , carry out? I said no. Table for two, reservation. The guy then said she’ll be right with you. we were seated in a very small table in the corner and I asked to be moved and she took us to a small table in the bar which I asked again to be in a little bit bigger table and she allowed us to sit there. we ordered our drink. It was fair , then we ordered our food and we waited almost an hour to get our food. When it arrived, the chicken Parmesan the Chicken was burnt. My crabcake was very dark. I wouldn’t say burnt but almost there the garlic in the spinach and I believe carrots was horrible. It just reeked of garlic. Our waitress did not come back and check on us until I asked her for a water. Before we got our food, she walked by me three times and made eye contact and never gave me an answer as to where our food was. I was very disappointed that it was not that busy. the dining room was full, but the bar area had very few people in it maybe six at the bar and maybe a total of 10 sitting around the bar. This was our first experience here and I can tell you we probably won’t be back. I had to go to the hostess station and ask for a carry out box."

"Villari’s Lakeside has always been a fantastic place for fine dining. Food is always delicious and the service is always excellent as well. "We often order the "Mess," a baked dish that features a mix of different broken pastas, plenty of marinara sauce, and cheese. You can also choose to add veggies, sausage, meatballs, veal, chicken, or eggplant. My son and I polished off a large portion of "Aunt Issy's Mess," which came with veggies, meatballs, and sausage, while my husband enjoyed his own serving of "Nephew's Mess," featuring eggplant and sausage. It was all so delicious! We also shared an order of fried calamari (without the banana peppers, please), which was crunchy on the outside and tender on the inside—perfectly cooked and delightful! The staff member at the counter was very friendly and accommodating. There’s ample street parking available right in front. For those with mobility challenges, the entrance has two steps; I'm not sure if there's an alternate entrance with a ramp."

"Pizza House is a staple in East Lansing. The food is pretty good, the portions match the prices (more than you would expect) and it offers things that you won't find elsewhere locally (such as Chicago Style Deep Dish and Chicago Style Red Hots). I don't go frequently because of the prices, but every once in a great while it is good to go there and enjoy it. Prepare to take food home with you."

"This is the best restaurant in town! The staff is incredibly polite and friendly, and they're fantastic with kids—my niece absolutely loves dining here. Lunchtime is quite relaxed, but it can get busy during dinner. The prices are reasonable; while they can be on the higher side, the quality of the food justifies it. The portions are huge, even for lunch, so I always end up with leftovers. And the food! It’s consistently fresh; I have no idea where they source their vegetables, but they’re always top-notch. The takeout is just as good, but I really recommend dining in so you can experience the wonderful service—the servers are truly delightful!"

"We made a special trip to Ann Arbor for our meal at Pizza House. It was not our first visit there however, it has been quite some time since our last meal there. "Went to celebrate our anniversary. Food was ok. Server made many mistakes. They didn't have White Zinfandel at all. Wine was $10 a glass for early bird Moscato, way over priced. I ordered Chicken Piccata and was served Chicken Marsala, which I sent back for what I ordered. Was told the substitution was made because they didn't have a early bird Piccata. I told them I wanted Picatta and in 2 minutes I had it on a plate in front of me. Lukewarm not hot, sitting around probably. I was charged full dinner price for an early bird portion size. Very disappointing night. Won't be back. I wonder if the Hilton Head one is so bad now ????"

"Updated review 12/11/23 I was so excited to see this restaurant on Groupon, I wanted to give them another try because the food was absolutely delish the first time around. Arrived on a Wednesday around 630pm, they had quite the crowd, didn’t wait long maybe 5 mins to get seated. I read on their menu the turkey burger was bussin and my friend had the fish and chips last time, so I already knew ahead of time what we would be ordering. The service was a bit slow, kinda friendly (so so) Both the meals came out at the same time and I was so disappointed that the fries were ice cold, I sent them back right away and she didn’t make new ones instead they just dipped them back in the fryer to get them warm. The fries were terrible, fish and chips over breaded and fried too long it was dark (I always take pictures and because we were in the moment, I didn’t get any) Nonetheless, the burger was ok, the Texas chili was good but overall, I am a bit disappointed in this place….. 05/24/23 Black Horse Tavern and Grill is definitely where the locals dine! If you are in the area, check them out! Its in an unlikely location but IKYK. They offer daily specials and happy hour! Got the Prime rib sando with fries, HH Caesar salad, HH Buffalo Cauliflower, HH Potato Skins and Fish and Chips! Everything came out hot and delish except the au jus that came with the prime rib was a bit too salty, way too much base but overall, the food and customer service was great! I would definitely recommend coming here!"

"Menu was entirely to large. I can only assume they do 1/3 of it actually well. The rum and coke I ordered was the weakest 9$ drink I've ever ordered. The manager was trying to keep track of all other workers masks, telling them to put them on. Then proceeds to put it just under his nose. I'm not super concerned with the covid but if you're gonna jump on your workers to wear a mask, use the mask right yourself silly. The caesar salad was comically bad, olive oil with a touch of caesar. I've had better bagged salads from big y. This place used to be our go to whenever we came to visit my grandparents. Hence the only reason I didn't bring this to light in the restaurant. Didn't want my grandfather getting worked up. Pizza was solid, but again, not what it used to be. If you've used to come here, but haven't been in a minute, maybe find somewhere else. Super disappointed."

"It was my first time eating at Frankie Bones and it was delicious! Lauren was wonderful. She stayed on top of our refills and constantly checked in on us, and she also provided us with excellent recommendations. I started off with the fried mozzarella and it was very good! Then I had the seafood trio and they let me substitute the scallops for extra shrimp since I don’t eat scallops. I had a tiramisu to go for dessert and it was also great. I will definitely be back! "I was so excited to finally get to this much beloved restaurant in Johnston. It was hopping on a Sunday evening and my friends and I only had a short wait before we were seated at a nice corner table. The food selection was plentiful and once we decided on our drinks and entrees I'm afraid it took forever for anyone to greet us and our server to take our order. As a matter of fact there were at least 2 other tables in our section who were seated and served well after our arrival before we got our food! We were feeling a bit frustrated. But our entrees were delicious and our server was very apologetic. We did negotiate a free dessert due to all the delays which they granted and the manager also came over and apologized for the delays in our food. I will go back and try some of their other food. I spotted that other table's homemade gnocchi and I'd love to try that next time!"

"We found this restaurant during a vacation trip. Food was so delicious that we came back the next night for dinner again. Parking lot was packed both visits mid-week (good indicator). First night, we had meatball appetizers that we were talking about the next day. I had a tasty (classic) cheeseburger with roasted potatoes (better than fries), and my guest had pasta marinara with crispy, garlic bread that I had to try (so buttery good). Next day, we were eager to taste the giant pretzel and it was so worth the carbs. Ambience kinda feels like that tv show Cheers where everyone knows your name. Seems like a lot of regulars, and no-fuss environment but definitely active and a bit noisy. One night was the big trivia night and I was surprised how many tables were participating and engaged. Although the bar is very active like a pub, I noticed the seating area was filled with all age groups and families. Great place for casual lunch and dinner."

I called a week in advance for a party on 20 people. they said I was all ready, I had a table reserved and everything. to the luck I called the day before to confirm because they completely dropped my reservation. After waiting for 20 minutes, 4 people answered and told me that I had never stopped and that they could not join my party. to boot, the waitress hanged on me when I asked what to do. "This is one of the best Italian restaurants I've visited, including NYC and those in Italy! Now I know why it is considered the best in SWFL. I would have rated it 6? if my wife or I could have had our favorite dishes; specifically, Chicken Cacciatore and Pasta Carbonara. We got our second favorites Penne alla Vodka and their Spaghetti Al Brendy and they were excellent. Lastly the wait staff was fun and attentive (but not hovering).
