"The restaurant was conveniently located for us and the menu looked good. When we arrived they had no means of checking a reservation and didn't have a table ready for us. It took about 15 minutes for anyone to greet our table at all, so we were able to already decide on our dinner by the first time a server talked to us. It then took another 25-30 minutes for our dinner to arrive. We had a Caesar salad, sliders, and lobster mac and cheese and I wouldn't order any of it again. The beer was good and it seemed like a fun place. There was live music that was really good, but the whole place was so loud it was impossible to have a conversation."

"Recently the dishes do not reflect the menu description. When we first started eating here a couple of years ago the restaurant maintained consistency with regard to the way food was prepared and ingredients used within that dish. But that consistency is gone. Everything has become unpredictable. I was forgiving after the 1st, 2nd and 3rd times but the 4th is the max I can tolerate. It appears that they run out of items and have different chefs in the kitchen cooking things whatever way they feel like and they are cutting corners and deleting ingredients entirely. Cheap, boring dishes are the result. It’s going downhill. I think the owners have started to take customers for granted. We won’t be going back."

"The singer was amazing was the hilite of our evening. I came with 3 friends that have never been to Mastros- we ordered the shucked raw oysters to start I have never been to any restaurant that didn’t cut the oyster from the shell!!! We had to cut it with our knives pick the shells out of our mouths… horrible! It was like eating egg shells. I asked the server if this is normal (as it’s very strange) she said no- that’s not normal she’ll mention it to the chef… nothing was ever done or mentioned again to us. When we got the bill, we waited over 40minutes for anyone to come back to us… we finally waived down another server she started to process our bill. Our server finally came back apologized saying she got stuck downstairs (whatever that means). We ended up being there for almost 4hrs!!!! I’ve been to Mastros several times never had such bad service… sadly my friends won’t likely come back."

"Came for lunch special. Ordered the Bianca pizza which tasted really good. Comes with fries or salad. Ordered the Truffle fries which is great as usual. I visit the restaurant infrequently. The taste of the food I try when I visit is always consistently fresh and well prepared. I've tried five different types of pizzas. Three types of pasta dishes and the drinks are unique and they use fresh fruit if part of the drink. Chef Alex is great and the staff is very accommodating."

"We were in the area for vacation and we were excited to go to Maya by looking at their website and menu. The staff are accommodating and friendly at this primo location restaurant which is part of the Wave hotel. The highlight was our cocktails at the bar and conversing with the bartender. Although the app said outdoor seating was unavailable, the host quickly arranged for us to sit on the patio with a beautiful view of the beach and boardwalk. That was all good but we were disappointed overall with the meal given the price point. The meatball appetizer was very salty, and the tuna app was very small, even though we recognize sushi grade tuna is very expensive. The fries were average and the Caesar salad was not chilled and overdressed. The fries needed to be crisper. The best part of the dinner was the Arctic Char. Nice flavors and perfectly cooked. Some hotel restaurants are top notch but this one needs more attention to the food to be in that class."

"We had a great lunch at Wa Jeal. Starting with spring onion pancakes (delicious) and ending with chicken and broccoli (again delicious), the lunch menu (rice, main course and soup) was very cheap and delicious. The environment is wonderful - brick walls and pretty decorations and the service excellent. Highly recommended!!"

"We wandered and stumbled over Mavericks. We arrived and were quickly taken back to a high table. The host quickly passed before there was an opportunity to let him know that we need a lower table. While I do not necessarily look sick, I have some health conditions and I cannot sit on a high chair. My husband went back to the front and waited until he let the host know we needed another table. He didn't look happy, and my husband even mentioned that he thought he was crazy. This, along with the coloured menus, has not started well. But things smoothed and dinner was indispensable. The menu included a simple variety, a rice bowl option, a burger, a steak, a pasta option, a taco option, etc. The star of the menu seemed to be a huge pulp. We saw many of them past different tables. My husband went with tacos with crispy chickens. I landed with smashed crime scenes (without cheese). While it seemed simple enough, they were very well done and tasted better than I expected. Waitstaff was busy, sitting inside and the large outdoor seats available. If you're looking for a place to hang out with friends and drink a drink, that would be the place to go. The bar looked fantastic, many drinking possibilities, and the environment was perfect for different group sizes to come together. For someone like me, with very limited food options, it worked fine."

"The stuffed pizza is amazing- that crust is so crisp on the outside and so perfectly soft on the inside. They have a bit too many fried food options so if you're a foodie you won't find anything new or interesting. But the menu is vast, reasonably priced and the entrees are decent. If you like Italian, the pastas are great, too. I tend to always order the blackened chicken fingers which is an appetizer and amazing. They have a decent won't list, and a great shop to buy wines to go, but I've ordered a few bottles of red that came to my table so warm it felt as though they were microwaved, but they were gracious in their handling of the situation. Great solid restaurant to visit. I come here often."

"This is our new favorite local BYOB spot. We've been twice now. The staff is very warm and friendly and the food is superb. If you like well crafted food and are willing to pay for very interesting tasting, beautifully plated food then this is a great place to go. We've been twice and both times they have been great with dietary restrictions as well. It's charming, casual enough to walk in (if you can get in!) but also a great place to take visiting friends and relatives or for a special night out or date. The Wayne area needed a place like this. We'll keep going back for sure."

"We made reservations for an anniversary dinner. Ruth's Chris doesn't disappoint. Food was great, service was awesome and the ambiance was nice. This was a first visit to this location on LaCantera Parkway. Downside was my vehicle being broke into and ruining the rest of our evening plans. Signs said surveyed by camera - no necessarily true. The buildings are surveyed. Of course, not really the fault of Ruth's Chris but waiting an hour to report it since we live just outside SA was definitely a downer. Next time - UBER for sure."

"Second time we give Garage a try …. Unfortunately; it just does not mesh up with its sister branches Liberty station Officinne Buenna Forcetta and the South Park Officinne). From taste to service… just completely different. The staff other than the Manager who is always welcoming and friendly, seem to have no zell in them. "Literally the best sushi delivery I've ever had. I'll even go as far as to say it's better than Blue Ribbon. Don't think twice. Order now. It's all so fresh; the sushi rice is deliciously seasoned and perfectly cooked. The miso soup has an element of umami I haven't even enjoyed from Nobu not to mention the soy cubes in the soup are simply gastronomic. Can you tell I was pleased? I could go on, but I'll spare you. "Attractive room, lovely staff, nice wines, but the food was a miss.Did you ever feel like they were trying too hard to make the dish more interesting or nouveau? This food menu is the poster child of that .Lest start from the beginning...Great room. The decor and finishes are very smart looking. From hello to goodbye, every person who works there is informed, gracious, and operates with elegance.Nice drink/wine list. Some interesting and odd choices, but a very simple yet well-rounded menu for a wide range of pallets.They even offered to let us taste a few before choosing and insisted on a fresh glass when the decision was made. And the stemware itself is beautiful, as were the actual dishes.On to the food...I don 't know.... something is off. All of the ingredients seemed fresh. All beautifully prepared and presented...just the tastes.The cauliflower appetizer was very tasty but a little dry...needed something a little creamy with it, or perhaps warm... but it was considered a cold dish so obviously not warm...but it needed something I did like it very much, which is great because it was the only thing I ate all night.We were a table of 4 and all tasted each other 's dishes... the Arnacini was ok-ish. The sauce was just acid, the ball was basically just cheap, stringy mozzarella in a fried ball with barely any rice, and just not any flavor.The focaccia was wet un the middle. Nice seasonings on top, and a good dipping oil.The Bass was probably the best entre.. that 's all I can say about that.The tagliatelle was completely tasteless with wet meat on top and not an ounce of sauce of any kind. Like boiled wet meat taken out of a pot with a slotted spoon, and that 's all the sauce you get. No red, not a little oil,...just wet meat on noodles.The Lumache was ok, but really odd to have it in the main entry category. It 's an app at best. I was get that again for lunch maybe..certainly not a dinner. Nothing to do with looking for a big American plate..it 's just not dinner. Cold greens on a chick pea pancake basically is not dinner. It was ordered because we thought they were doing something different to it, but no.Then the worst of the worst, the capellini nero.. what the hell.... rock shrimp..ok, roasted fennel...I 'm with ya...then n 'duja.. I asked what it was, pork glaze with spices and a little bite at the end. It seemed like such an odd combo I had to try it. Well odd it was. The sauce is way to strong to taste the other ingredients. It 's way to spicy to taste the sauce! And what the hell with the wet noodle dishes.. Definitely precooked and overdone.. I actually couldn 't eat it.Just stop the madness.Such a shame...so close to home, but a 1 n done for all of us."

"I have visited many places and it is always a pleasant experience. brunch is always consistently tasty and fast. they have a nice lunch menu with envelopes, sandwiches and Greek farewell. that was our first dinner visit. this was the first time we looked over the special drink menu and I was pleasantly surprised. I enjoyed several mosque miles at dinner. for dinner I ordered the cod with another and the third ordered the salmon. we all enjoyed our food. also here I stick to the Greek tariff, and was pleasantly surprised by the lemon taste of the fish. highly recommended. the atmosphere was energetic with the sabres game on, but not too loud or overcrowded that we could not have a comfortable entertainment at the dining table."

"Our family of 6 had a really fabulous dinner because we were lucky enough to have the private room. It was the perfect place for the last night of our vacation. We come back every year and don't eat dinner until the last evening of our trip at Tucci Benucch. It has become a family tradition. We love the breadsticks with delicious olive oil, the wine prices are reasonable and there are Italian wines on the list. The food is delicious and the portions are large. Our server was really great too!"
