"We arrived at North 26 with a reservation for 6 people at 5:30pm ahead of a concert at TD Garden. We didn't really need one. The place was empty. The very friendly staff seemed surprised to see us, but sat us right away. On the way to our table, we passed bench seating with torn and worn out upholstery, which made us concerned. The server took our drink order. My first two requests for local draft beers from the permanent menu were unavailable. Third choice was the charm and I enjoyed the draft cider. We had enough time between being seated and ordering drinks that we were all ready to order food. The server took brought a salad for my daughter and niece, but didn't bring the chowder that came with the lobster sliders ordered by my wife I. After an abnormally long time, our entrees arrived. At that point, the server remembered the chowder. The lobster sliders were dry, the chowder had a layer to skim skim off because it had been sitting for so long out back. The kids enjoyed their steak, other adults were fine with their Mediterranean sandwich. Nobody's in a hurry to go back, but I'd go if there was nothing else available and wanted a sit-down meal."
