"THIS WAS A 5 place a 1.5 Yrs ago! My GO TO FOR EVERYTHING!!! Now since there’s been NEW OWNERS it’s TERRIBLE!! Idk what is going on but if let’s say a person of India is going to invest in a take out place, then why would you choose italian style take out, UNLESS YOU HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH IT of course. Which sadly these people Do not Have! Ive tried multiple times to Understand and support them in their dreams of running a successful BUSINESS and having the American dream, but with little success. The straw that broke my back was when I ordered my go2 chicken cutlet calzone, I ordered it as usual, was eating it as I felt a hair in my mouth, I went to pull it PRAYING it was just mozzarella cheese, but no, a long blondish hair came out still attached to the chess and chicken I was chewing, THE HAIR WAS BAKED INTO THE CALZONE! It didn’t just fall on-top, it was in there!?? I also have short brown hair, Like VERY SHORT. When I called flipping out and asking WHY THE COOK DOESNT WEAR A HAIR NET, they put me on hold for 3-5 minutes then the owner picked up and said “Sorry sir, but we take all the necessary health code precautions here” that’s when I said “ LISTEN UP, I have a 8 inch long medium BLONDE hair in my hand right now, SO IF YOU HAVE A PERSON MAKING CALZONES WITH THE SAME HAIR, YOU BETTER APOLOGIZE AND TAKE RESPONSIBILITY OR ILL HIRE THE BEST LAWYER ALIVE, Give him this hair to run a DNA TEST ON AND IF THIS PERSON EVER WORKED FOR YOU, I WILL OWN YOUR RESTAURANT! To which he pauses, then apologized and asked if I wanted a new calzone or money back? I said I want my money back and they can come get the calzone, minus the hair.They did not come but I got a refund a month later when I filed the complaint with my card.Had this man just apologized at first, I’d have been ok with it, Not order ever again but I can understand an employee not doing what they’re supposed to. But trying to turn it around on me when I told him the hair color and length, that I got me very upset! Especially with their price increase and charging for every little thing, EVEN MUSTARD ON MY PASTRAMI ONCE!! SMH. DONT BUY FROM THIS LONDIS, Idk about the rest!"

"My family I are big into House of Pizzas. We seek them out have been to dozens because we don’t like chains. While in Rockport my family wanted pizza so naturally we looked for their House of Pizza. I’m sorry, but this was the absolute worst pizza any of us have ever had. We got 3 different kinds everything about it was bland; the crust, sauce, toppings, even the cheese what minimal amount there was. I can only think to compare it to cafeteria or hospital food. My bottomless pit teenagers refused to eat it after trying 2 different slices. It was that bad. Do not recommend."

"On 2/29 I ordered a small pizzas with spicy fries mozzy sticks my pizza was very undercooked and the fried food had a bad taste like the oil was dirty it smelled fishy . I called and who ever I spoke to said if I wanted a refund I needed to bring the food back but I dont drive and couldn’t take the food back. Hence why I had it delivered , X I tried to dispute it with my bank but id have to cancel my card and wait a week for anew one so that’s not an option or worth the hassle for 32$ , , so now im out 31.65 on food I didn’t even eat and had to throw away : who ever works the front is rude ."

"The service was pleasant, though a bit on the slow side. The atmosphere was lovely, featuring flowers and candles on every table, making it a great spot for a date. The food was tasty, although the portions were smaller than what I've typically experienced at other Italian restaurants. They weren't lacking in quantity, it's just that many Italian places tend to serve more than you can finish. I was a bit disappointed that the eggplant in the eggplant parmigiana was grilled and unbreaded instead of the usual fried style that I’ve always enjoyed, although it's possible that this was mentioned in the menu and I missed it. After doing some research, I learned that grilled eggplant is used in some recipes; it’s just not something I've encountered before."

"Here's where it gets really special: the woman behind the counter came over to check if our slices were hot enough. She explained that she asked because she noticed my eyes looked "puffy." It was clear she wanted to ensure we were enjoying our meal. We shared with her that we had just received some bad news and took a seat at our table to wait for our food. As she passed by, we felt overwhelmed with emotion, and she was incredibly kind! She was the first person we had encountered since leaving the hospital, and we were feeling very low. She took the time to come over and showed genuine interest in our situation. I can't imagine how we would have felt if she had simply ignored us, but thankfully she didn't! It was like she instinctively understood what we were going through. We truly felt that she was sent to us at that moment to lift our spirits. Thank you so much, kind woman, wherever you are! "I placed an order requested contactless delivery. The instructions I left were ring bell walk down the stairs and leave at door with glass window. The point of this is to use the door as a barrier between me and the delivery driver. The delivery driver who disregarded everything written and started to approach the door. I let the unmasked ungloved (even though it 's the law!!!!! Know to leave it at the door. With a smirk he replies oh leave it here and drops my food on the floor. I typically wait for the driver to leave before retrieving my food but with the attitude of this driver I rushed through the door to get my food. No sooner do I open the door does the disgusting germ ridden delivery driver starts open air hack coughing. Like seriously? If this is the attitude you 're business is going to take during covid19 just close down. We called to explain to someone the experience we just had with the delivery. Of course we were treated as if we we 're the problem. Completely dismissed and we 're told Oh and about the cough he 's a smoker you do understand smokers cough right? So you 're breaking the law and now you speak to the customer as if we 're stupid. Like you have an issue with reading and comprehension yet I 'm talked to like I 'm stupid. I spend my money I expect respect instead you get mediocre food poor customer service and talked to like you 're an idiot. I read a review from 2 months ago mentioning they weren 't wearing masks. That customer was told they will resolve the issue. 2 months and still no masks. This place is going to be the cause of a covid19 outbreaks in canton if they don 't do better and resolve this. Absolutely disgusting?"

"This restaurant is known for their Bratwurst sandwiches, so I decided to try the Jr. Brat and Rind. It was a bit disappointing as it arrived cold, even though it's hard to mess up a sandwich. They shouldn't advertise it as a hot sandwich if they only heat it up for 15 seconds. It seemed like they may have just quickly thrown it on a flattop. The sandwich was also on the small side for the price of 8 dollars. However, the service was quick and the staff was friendly. Overall, I would rate it a 4 out of 10. Perhaps it deserves only 2 stars."

"I visited The Chicago Heights J&J this Saturday around 12:15 PM. There’s a sign in the window advertising a $5 meal deal, so I ordered the 5-piece dark chicken for that price. However, my bill came to $6.98. When I inquired about the difference, the employee informed me that it was because I requested extra lemon pepper. Unfortunately, he didn’t mention the additional charge until after I had already paid with my debit card. There was no indication of an extra fee for the lemon pepper posted anywhere. It would have been helpful if he had informed me of this before charging my card. This restaurant is just down the street from my home, but after this experience, I won’t be returning. It feels deceitful and disappointing."

"9 out of 10 times, the pizza is outstanding. However, occasionally it comes out very thin and flat, which is disappointing, especially after getting used to the generous sauce and cheese, along with the large, hearty slices that are usually served. The prices are also great. This is likely one of the best places in NJ for pizza and cheesesteaks, and I've tried them in both southern and northern Jersey. The only downside is the older woman at the counter, who is rude regardless of how polite you try to be, which slightly detracts from the overall experience."

"I have been a long time customer but have to say how disappointed I have been lately. Portions are small, waitstaff are extremely rude and their attire is not very pleasing. I was there the other night and one of the waitresses was wearing a halter top with cut off jean shorts and boots. Her hair was disheveled and she looked like she hadn 't bathed in quite a while. I was turned off by her appearance and the fact that she was touching people 's food. I opted out of eating and went into the bar to have a drink instead. The bartender was a refreshing change, bright personality and pleasant and her hygiene was clean. Time to clean house literally of the grubby, sloppy waitstaff."

"New ownership and immediate changes... We have been long time regulars of Shiraz, and were so surprised that the restaurant is now under new ownership. We are so happy for the previous owners to be able to retire, but we are sad that we won't be able to see them anymore AND our favorite items have been removed from the menu! No more alcohol either. We would get a bottle of wine with dinner and loved the Disaronno chicken and beef Moussaka, all of which are now gone. Since that is what were were craving, we ended up leaving. It's not going to be the same.Also ordering takeout for lunch a month ago, I ordered a falafel wrap. Because it's all wrapped and boxed up I didn't check it right then but when I got back to work it ended up being chicken. Which was fine and I eat chicken but not what I ordered or wanted. Also ordered a side of potatoes and received 5 small pieces. I was a bit suspicious but thought it was just the lunch staff that make some mistakes."
