"The waiter mixed up the veggies in our plates. He quickly blamed the kitchen. He even did not offer exchanging for correct veggies. In addition, 4 separate servers mistakenly brought plates for other diners. Also they tried to take our plates before we finished. They were all untrained and have no sense of hospitality. The food was ok. Asparagus Tempura was salty. The dipping sauce was mainly mayo. My swordfish and sauce were cold. The building is nice and the patio is beautiful. The menu is pricey. You would expect high quality of services and food. They failed."

"The service and drinks were excellent, with a fantastic selection of draft options. I organized a company Christmas party with the manager, Ali, who was incredibly kind, patient, and accommodating. We definitely plan to return!"

"My Partner and I have a Christmas party every year since 2014 apart from 2 years of the pandemic.We order the majority of the food from Ipswich Clambake. Last party in 2019 was good not great, we wondered if it would good this but decided to keep it local give them the order for lobster rolls, bacon wrapped scallops, salads, clam chowder etc. First just ordeing it was an ordeal! Then when we went to pick it up they the order was not ready as the staff had not got the order which was ordered 3 weeks prior! The staff did do a good job getting it to gether but we had people waitng for an hour at our party for food! The owner gave my partner a lillylivered apology after the event, when he back with the containers. he would not have got one otherwise. No offer of a discount!! That was $1000 order!!! Never again"

This type of clams used, Ipswich is well-known for its sweet tasting clams. Little Neck clams commonly ordered as steamers, awesomely sweet and savory with hot melted butter. But fried clams with its good sized bellies still boast same sweet flavor and texture as those in steamed clams. An added plus, this restaurant offers gluten-free batter. Delicate without the heavy crunchiness. The fried scallops is very moist and delicious, very tender with juiciness locked into every bite. If you enjoyed little neck steamers, this is the place for sweet tasting fried belly clams!! Prices are so reasonable if you order box of 3 different sizes."
