"Average overpriced food. Atmosphere is good and gives the diner feel, but dang that food just wasn't up to part. I had a cheeseburger and fries, which should be difficult for a diner to screw up. The cheeseburger was tasteless and overcooked. The root beer float was decent but how do you screw something like that up? Felt rushed too while there. Price was around $20 for the cheeseburger and fries, and something like $10 for the root beer float. Plus tip and tax, came close to $40 for lunch."

"We had a reservation and we were on time. The hostess said there would be a thirty minute wait. I complained and the manager came over and said since we had a reservation we’d only have to wait 15-20 minutes. WHAT! We had theater tickets and had to be on time. We were finally seated 20 minutes later and then after waiting almost 10 minutes to even get water we got up to leave. The server finally came over. We stayed and ordered. The food was OK. We gobbled down the food, which is not a desirable way to eat. We got out of there as fast as we could. As Seinfeld said in an episode when renting a car, “you know how to take a reservation but don’t know how to keep it. We’ll never go back."

"I've been to Mon Ami Gabi in Reston many times, mainly for business meetings. I always order the Steak Fritte Classique. Unfortunately, this time the food was subpar. The steak tasted like it had been cooked in old butter or a dirty grill. There was a noticeable degradation in the quality of the food since the last time I was there. Our waitress was nice and attentive, but made a mistake splitting the check 3-ways. When the manager tried to fix it, he also made a mistake and brought the wrong check. Without going into too many details, the interactions with the manager were digusting. He was a slime and very condescending. He blamed the poor waitress, which showed horrible leadership on his side. As a manager, you never blame a team member and always have your team's back! We pointed this out to him. We also pointed out to him that not once did he apologize. Needless to say he tainted our experience."

"It is unfortunate to see the decline in quality and service at this longtime Bethesda establishment. The last few meals have been disappointing, and it appears they have reached their lowest point. It is a positive development that they are closing this week for remodeling, although it seems like a mistake as the ambiance was the only redeeming quality of the restaurant. Hopefully, the renovation will allow them to start fresh with improved kitchen operations, service, and management. If not, it may be worth taking a short trip on the metro into DC for better food and a superior dining experience at a similar price."

"Great little place! Food is a little slow to come out but the quality is there for the price point. I got the chicken Parm special on Saturday and the chicken was good, but the sauce had hardly any flavor like it was watered down, which most likely it was (I used to be a cook for 14 years and I know that flavor anywhere). The ice cream is fantastic and the cookie ice cream sandwich is massive! All in all, service can be slow but if you're looking to fill up for cheap this place is good. Parking: Limited spaces so time your visit accordingly. Kid-friendliness: They love kids, my daughter likes it there."

"Flew over from Australia to check out how Covid has decimated America, thought I 'd drop in to grab an ice cream from a seemingly random mcdonalds. Imagine my horror when the ice cream machine was broken! To my delight an amazing young man named Damian who was working the grill set up his lap top and completed a mechanical engineering degree, on the spot! Fixed the ice cream machine straight after so I could enjoy a nice cold ice cream! He pointed me in the direction of the nearest covid hot spot and said cone-gratulations on making it so far and good luck Overall fantastic experience...I would definitely come back again, that 's if I 'm not added to the statistics of those who have perished from corona but with minds like Damians fixing the world one customer at a time I think we 'll all be okay."

"Probably because of the COVID the same person sat people, waited for tables and worked the bar. We waited a few minutes to sit, order over 15 minutes and had to find our server to get our bill. Menu could use more variety. I wouldn't recommend it right now, but I would try again after the pandemic is over. It is in an old hotel and can be very good in “normal” times"

"Had lunch at Bluegrass. There was a very homey vibe even though decorated for Mardi Gras and offering a Mardi Gras menu. What ever else you order try the corn pudding. It's delicious. The service was great and we finished with the bread pudding and the banana's foster. Both were excellent. Great place for lunch with a menu offering excellent choices."

"We had heard about this restaurant from a customer of ours and decided to give it a try. We went on line to get directions, saw the unfavorable review from Valentine's day, and had 2nd thoughts. So, we called a relative who lives near the restaurant (we are about 10 miles away). She said it very nice, so we tried it. We went on 2/15/10 and were very happy with it. We sat in the main area, not the smoking section, so I only saw the ceiling where we were. It was fine, the service was good, the place was clean, there was a container of napkins on every table. We got more food than we could eat,(a fresh salad, vegetable, potatoes, or main entree and coffee). With our over 20% tip we were still under $20, It is a simple, but nice place to eat. If you don't want to cook, want a very good meal, served quickly, at at very reasonable price I recommend it. I did not give it 5 stars only because it is not a fancy place, but I wasn't expecting it to be."

"On a good day, this restaurant truly deserves five stars! The flavor combinations are intriguing, the ingredients taste fresh, and the service is prompt. However, Slice loses a point because its quality can be inconsistent. Over the past year, my partner and I have ordered from Slice six times, and 4-5 of our 12 pizzas have either been missing an ingredient, included an odd ingredient that shouldn't have been there, or have differed from what we actually ordered. The four-star rating is well-deserved because, despite how frustrating this issue can be, a mismade pizza from Slice typically tastes better than 90% of the equivalent pizzas in the Towson area."

Although participation is dependent on individual locations policies I was told I don 't think this coupon is for this location. This response made no sense at all and was accepted previously. The inconsistent application of policy leads to a bad customer service experience...but what can you expect from McDonald 's. "WARNING: STAY AWAY!!! This restaurant has seriously declined. Our visit to JB's on 8/17/24 was disappointing. One person in our group ordered a half rack of ribs with sides, but the ribs arrived ice cold and undercooked. After taking a bite, he couldn’t eat anything else because the taste made him feel nauseous. We informed the server, and while they removed the cost from the bill, it really ruined our night out. Now, 12 hours later, two other members of our party are also feeling sick and vomiting. We tested for COVID, anticipating that question, and the results came back negative. It seems clear that the issue stems from poorly prepared food at this location. We spent $180 on a terrible experience and will never return. I advise others to take their money elsewhere."

"I had a fantastic Roman veggie breakfast and will definitely be going back. The service was great as well. That was my experience eight months ago. However, I've returned several times since then, and the food has consistently rated about 8.5/10. Unfortunately, we've had the same server, Phyllis, on multiple occasions, and her service has been rather disappointing. Server was openly rude and dripping with contempt for my family from beginning to end, and it showed both on her face and in her miserably inattentive service. Not sure if it was our southern accents, my mother’s disability, or just poor training that led to such a terrible experience; but I expected much, much better from a place in this prestigious a property. "drove up to the drive through speaker and many red flags appeared. for starters, 2 guys were speaking to us at the exact same time. very confusing for an old folk like me. second, they quote that the ice cream machine was broken when i went to get 2 ice cream cones, but when i said i was going to leave and not purchase anything else, they offered us a milkshake. how the booty hole are they supposed to make a milkshake without the ice cream? baffles me to this day."

"Food was excellent as always. We were a party of I was disappointed that our waiter (who complained about the number of tables he had to serve) was grouchy and not able to fulfill some of our requests. It was my birthday and this year there were no "happy birthdays" on the table; did you decide not to do that anymore? I asked for a champagne cocktail with extra bitters. It was exactly the same color as a friend's who did not want extra bitters. Then someone took it away and I saw that it sat beside a plastic dirty-dish container for a long while until I asked again. It came back just slightly pinker and I gave up on asking for more bitters. We had wanted the "Bites" and "Appetizers" to arrive with our drinks but they came much later. The dessert that another friend and I shared came with two plates (which was good) but no knife to cut it. I managed with a fork rather than bother the waiter any further. Clearly the waiter was harried but it made my birthday occasion significantly less delightful than I've come to expect from Rivoli. The noise level has never been an issue before but it was on Sunday night pm reservation) . None of this will stop me returning just saying it wasn't up to your usual standards. Lindy Sinclair"

"Just went here, 11:48pm they close at 12am. I wanted 3 sodas. We wait at the drive thru and see the manager run out the door and go back inside. The drive through light and machinery was on and working. We waited for around 5 minutes and said hello and tried to get their attention. No one answers the drive through so we pull to the window (with 2 cars ahead of us getting their food and drinks) and we wait another few minutes (11:57pm at this point) and a employee comes up and tells us it is closed. We say we just want 3 sodas even though it isn’t closed and if they could accommodate that since it takes 5 seconds. Then, the manager comes up and RUDELY says “We are closed” and complains that she worked 11 hours and wanted to go home. She stated that they closed at 11:55pm (even though it says online that they close at 12am). She then said have a nice day after ignoring us just asking for the 3 sodas and could even pay in cash if the credit machine is turned off and slammed the window in our face. Very rude and I get it okay you wanna go home but 3 sodas takes 5 seconds and does not need to be rudely taken. She could’ve kindly stated that they were closed and said come back in the morning or go to the other location that is open. But she was nasty and did not want to do her job. Do not come late night even though they are open and do have their to do their job. We all work long hours and could’ve been happier with a soda."

"Tried Roccos for the first time. Hostess was friendly and got us seated timely. Our waiter was super friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Everything looked good! The pizza the table split was very tasty and perfectly cooked. The pasta dishes all tasted fresh and the portion sizes were just enough to take some home for lunch the next day. "I don’t usually have McDonald’s for lunch at noon, but I must say this location was clean and welcoming. There was a group of seniors dining there, which is always a good sign. The person who took my order at the register (rather than through the ordering screen/computer) was patient and polite. The service was excellent, although the quality of the food could use some improvement. Unfortunately, the milkshake machine was out of service, which was disappointing since we were hoping to try the heavily promoted Shamrock Shake. Overall, the service was better than the food, but you get what you pay for at a highway burger joint."
