"First and foremost, I’ve never been to a restaurant where I was forced to pay for a drink I did not want after taking one sip from it all because the Bartender did not know what she was doing the night of 1/20/25. The first drink I ordered was a mango margarita with Patron’, then the second drink I ordered was a Lime margarita except this time I asked if it could be put in a regular glass because the first Margarita was in a huge goblet with tons of ice and I could barely taste the liquor. She said ok, then returns to the table with the exact same glass I asked her not to put the Margarita in, she started to get frustrated as soon as her mistake was pointed out, took the huge Margarita back and brought it out in a smaller glass. I took one sip from it and almost Gagged because this was not the same tequila used in the first one, it was a much cheaper one like Cuervo. I POLITELY told her I didn’t want it and could she take it back, she says ok, leaves the drink on the table and walks away. Out comes a tall woman with dark hair and glasses standing over me with a crazy look saying, “ I heard you don’t like the drink? It’s the same Tequila as the first one.” I told her, “ No it’s not. I can taste the difference and I don’t want it, can you take it back?” She stares at me and says, “ I’m not taking it off the bill!” I then proceeded to tell her again, “ I don’t want it and YOU ARE NOT GONNA MAKE ME DRINK SOMETHING I DONT WANT!!!” As a Bi-racial woman of both Blk Sicilian descent) I knew exactly what this was. It wasn’t about the drink anymore, it had now become an issue of defiance, authority and disregard for what I the paying customer) wanted. I was not asking for anything FREE, but rather for an item that I did not fully consume to be taken off the bill. Once I seen that this was going no where and that she was ready to go back and forth with me over a nasty, watered down $13 Margarita, I decided to pay for the drink I DID NOT even consume. Not only did my guess and I have to experience this, but she comes back around on the side we’re sitting on and starts stacking the chairs on the tables and turning off all the TVs on the left side where we were sitting, while leaving the TVs on the right side of the room on where there were 3 or 4 ppl left. Basically sending a non-verbal que for my guest and I to leave. I did not get her name, but I have no problem returning there to point her out. She has poor managerial skills and needs to be FIRED IMMEDIATELY!!!! At the end of the day, don’t cheat your customers out of their hard earned money, she is a poor representation of your company and the “Modern Day Racism” shouldn’t be tolerated within your business!!!"

"I have to say that the food was sub par...and that’s being generous. I NEVER write reviews or complain as i have worked in the industry and understand sometimes there are good and bad days. But i have to comment on this experience. Upon walking into The restaurant you are greeted by such a BEAUTIFUL patio and ambiance. The servers are all very welcoming and friendly along with the host staff as well. The staff and ambiance are wonderful. The food on the other hand was not. I ordered the chicken Marsala $22) and it was absolutely terrible. It had not one drop of Marsala wine in it and came with roasted red peppers which ruined the dish to say the least. The “Marsala sauce” tasted like bland kfc gravy. The chicken had no taste as well and was a bland piece of chicken floating in fake Marsala sauce. The whole thing tasted microwaved and had a plastic taste to it. My six dollar side of mashed potatoes were also microscopic. The risotto may have saved the dish but it too was just bland and lacking taste. My fiancé ordered the spicy chicken sandwich and said it wasn’t bad but that he’s had much better elsewhere. The French fries that came with his sandwich were great. Nice and crispy. It’s pretty sad when the fries were the highlight of the dish. We also got the prosciutto and fig flatbread which was good but honestly just lacking in something. It needed like a balsamic drizzle or fresh basil or something to finish it off and complement the other flavors and it just fell flat. I’d give this place one more try, but honestly it would only be for drinks and appetizers at this point. The ambiance was beautiful and the patio was incredible and honestly that’s the only reason i’d come back....the patio."

"After hearing about Jimmy Buffet's passing, we finally decided to check out this restaurant. Unfortunately, it quickly reminded us why we had never visited before. After a long hour wait, we entered to find the place looking quite dirty, with many tables still uncleared. We assumed they were just understaffed. Once seated, it took quite a while for our server to bring us water. We had a special deal on food, but the server was unaware of the specifics. It took two inquiries before she finally went to get clarification. We ordered an appetizer platter, coconut shrimp, shrimp and grits, and a margarita. The appetizer platter was underwhelming and certainly not worth the over $22 price tag. The coconut shrimp, also over $22, came with only five pieces and a small serving of fries. It was bland and more batter than shrimp. For half the price, you could buy better coconut shrimp at Walmart, with a more favorable shrimp-to-batter ratio. The shrimp and grits were decent but not remarkable. It had more shrimp than the coconut shrimp, and the sauce was flavorful, yet it still didn’t justify the over $20 price. The only highlight of the meal was the margarita. The $11 watermelon margarita was refreshing, not overly sweet, and had a fantastic watermelon flavor. If I ever return, it will only be for the margaritas during happy hour. Otherwise, I won't waste my money again at Margaritaville. As some have said, paying $86 for mediocre food, poor service, and a dirty environment is indeed a waste, and I can't disagree. This experience was entirely my own mistake."
