"Great view of the water as we sat right in front of the restaurant. The fish and chips were fantastic. Three beautiful pieces of delicate white fish and piping hot frits that were very good. My wife's Mahi Mahi was not great. 5 minutes from Hotel Courtyard Resort. We would go back"

"The amount of little things wrong will make me sound like a Karen, but I promise I don’t normally give bad reviews, however I paid $30 just to have the igloo experience and really had hopes for a decent lunch date. Upon arrival they placed us in the igloo without a view even though the closer one to the water was available. Not the biggest issue however-Our igloo stunk of seafood mixed with a plastic smell the moment we walked in… it deff needs to be aired out in between guests. We were then forgotten for 20 mins after being seated and I had to go in and let the host know we hadn’t been seen yet. Our waiter seemed super annoyed when he finally came out, was in and out without really speaking to us. I get it, working in a restaurant is not always the easiest, however the place was pretty empty on the lunch hour. I felt like a burden to him, which doesn’t feel good when you’re paying to eat and extra for the igloo. Just felt underwhelming and I left feeling disappointed. I will note the front hostess was super sweet and kind and was very friendly and helpful, so I really don’t want my review to reflect the entire staff. Honestly, save your money- the igloo wasn’t worth the hype."

"This is the worst experience I have ever had. I really wish I could get my money back. It was very loud, disorganized and terrible overall. The waiters didn't know which tables belonged to them. The people there were incredibly loud, enough to visibly disturb everyone else, and nobody did anything about it. The food was badly seasoned and cooked. The portions were tiny. Never come here, never. It is a terrible hotel restaurant."

"We ordered takeout from The Wave tonight (02/07/2022) and tried the Back, Kamikaze, Sin Bomb, and Rallyston rolls, along with the grilled Teriyaki salmon and mac salad. Everything was truly exceptional. The flavors were great, and the portion sizes were generous. Every penny spent was absolutely worth it. The only thing my partner didn't enjoy was the wasabi, but everything else was fantastic. I highly recommend this place!"

"I was excited to have dinner at this restaurant and made a reservation for five two days ahead of time. I even received a call from the restaurant to confirm our seating so we could enjoy the band. However, when we arrived on time, we still had to wait for tables to be arranged. Eventually, we were seated at the very last table upstairs, which happened to be in the blazing sun. Although we asked to move, there were no other tables available. The family sitting behind us complained about the sun to their waitress, who also struggled to see. Ultimately, we decided to leave and go to a different restaurant. The ambiance was underwhelming, and the coordination was lacking. While the hostess was very kind, we won't be returning."

"Chicken katsu is the best I’ve had, it was super moist and tender and had the perfect crunch because of panko I recommend this if you come in. Smoked pork kalua pork was good. Lumpia was delicious. Pork lau lau was nice but was a tad bit dry for my liking. And the pork kalbi was fantastic. Service was good, the owner served us and she was friendly. I do recommend this place over some food chains like L&L Hawaiian Barbecue their Katsu isn’t as good at Pacific Grill!"

"I adore Cheeky! I come here at least once a week. The staff is always incredibly kind and welcoming, and they have a way of brightening up even the dreariest Seattle days. I have a hard time choosing between the Turkey Chili, Fry Bread, Cheeky (Pan)Cakes, Pasta Carbonara, and the brunch Chicken Fried Steak - everything is just so delicious! "I took my mother to the Two Sisters restaurant for her birthday last Sunday. We were immediately greeted and informed about the brunch options (i.e. buffet versus brunch specials and other adjustments, such as turkey bacon instead of pork). I think this is a great place for a relaxed brunch and definitely for a mother-daughter date. We loved the food and the service. We drove to a Groupon and will definitely drive again without the Groupon. Worth it."

"we arrived shortly before 11:30 a.m. to lunch to enjoy the hopeful and some Hawaiian seafood. probably our un-Hawaiian experience we had. the mainlander at the door refused to sit my wife until I moved my car out of a space right in front of the door next to the handicap sites that it existed was a loading zone, although no signs so indicated. I was one of at least three cars that had to move and came into the customs of another car that hit me. as far as eating is concerned, we both have ordered her ahi tuna sandwich rarely. my came in order, but my wife tasted as if the fish had ‘altered’ a bit. she would not eat it after a few bites and send it back. I wouldn't go back to the meal we had. the waiter was very helpful and did not respond to her meals. the bar station is a hoot and very helpful. when we left the original hostess was not visible and the cars were parked in the unwritten “Lastzone”."

"We have been coming to Pine Tavern for years. We had patio seating and the temp. was perfect with a mild breeze. We were a party of 6. The Rueben sandwich was very dry.....not much 1,000 Island dressing. One person in our party ordered ginger ale and when he asked for a refill, he was not informed that the ginger ale was not a free refill and charged them for a second drink. We all felt that the server should have explained that this is from the bar and not a free refill. Other than that, we had a very nice time together."

"I had the best customer service I've ever experienced, and the most authentic Hawaiian food I've had on the mainland! We requested modifications to the Katsu chicken, asking for it to be served with two sunny-side-up eggs on top, and we mentioned we would be sharing it. They graciously divided the meal onto two plates and garnished each one beautifully! Plus, the eggs were perfectly cooked! I will definitely be coming back!"

"Not my kind of place. Bar /tavern side had shrieking, raucous customers on a day when no one around. Really a tasting menu, teeny plates, teeny portions, poor value. Waitress told me that the green peppers in my mussel soup were mild- they were not and had to spit out with my mouth on fire. Truly embarassing when I was being treated. They did give me asparagus instead. Their only vegetable. They did not notice that my water glass was empty and I had to request it. Backless benches to sit on in the tavern/ bar area but you can request an uncomfortable chair. Not a place if you eat high healthy protein and veggies like I do. I do not like to leave a restaurant feeling bloated with too much food but neither do I want to leave hungry. Their coffee was good after the meal."

"My husband and I were quite disappointed with our experience. He couldn't finish his chicken parmesan because the texture beneath the cheese was off, resembling undercooked eggs. I ordered fettuccine Alfredo with grilled shrimp and had to request more shrimp since the ones I received were cold and seemed barely grilled. The new shrimp that were brought out were much better. Unfortunately, we couldn't order any of the appetizers we wanted due to issues with the deep fryer, so we opted for salads instead. My husband asked for ranch dressing but wasn't informed that it came in a packet. Overall, our experience was not great, and we won't be returning. We were really let down, especially since our colleagues had recommended the food highly."

"I'm not sure what happened but the Highwater has unfortunately fallen off. Several of their main menu items had slight recipe changes made to them leaving them worse. The Kalua Pork Sandwich, which I used to order religiously, comes now topped with dry, under sauced meat and a stale bun. The Spam Musubi used to be served the traditional style and it was changed to a deep fried disaster with extra, unnecessary added ingredients. The menu and recipes used to be perfect and they were all changed to lesser versions which really sucks becuase it's no longer worth $15 a plate here now."

"Pretty sad how far this place has come from when it first opened. Hours say they are open until 9PM. What they don’t tell you is that they put up all the chairs and starts mopping at 8PM. So screw you if you wanted to sit down and eat with friends or Ohana. Apparently they care more about ‘Getting pau with work right at 9PM’ instead to showing Aloha to their customers for that last hour. Customer service is everything, and this place has lost it. No gonna go here anymore. There are better places in the area that’ll let you sit in even after they close."

"Friday, 13. May 2022. I was looking for a stupid night to stop, but I wanted Aloha tonight. I read from the reviews that this new joint appeared. A few observations: the average patron was younger than me, the choice of overhead music was not my preference (Reagaton/Mexicon) However, as it was a younger crowd, they loved it. I focused on eating and drinking. Loco Moco was my choice, though I would? ve loved to see a stand alone Kahlua pork entree (only as flat bread, tacos, etc.) Kona Brewing The company has caught my thirst with a longboard bearing. Service was as expected; prompt, friendly, accurate. On my table checked the industry standard of 2x before you offer the bill. I would recommend! NOTE: This is a former country bar with a small parking lot!"

"The hostess put my wife and I who were clearly nicely dressed and on a date between a table with a bunch of children in high chairs and a couple of somethings in gym clothes. Why are people so tone deaf?The room was far too bright for pm, service was slow and my wife's dirty martini was more olive juice than gin. It was at the point our appetizer came out half cooked, we decided to salvage the night and go elsewhere. It was almost to waste our time. "Saturday afternoon. Restaurant was not busy. Waiter took order right away. We ordered drinks and an appetizer, as well as lunch entrees. 25 minutes later, we finally got our drinks. Entrees then arrived about 10 minutes later, but still no appetizer. Waiter finally brought out and claimed they had to ‘cut more potatoes’ because they ran out. No mention of this before. Food was good. Service not so much. If restaurant had been busy, it may have been more understandable. During our entire time at Twigs, we did observe our waiter stopping and chatting MULTIPLE times at the table near us, even at one point sitting down at this table. He obviously knew the people and was more concerned with visiting with them, than attending to his other customers. Needless to say, we were not impressed with his service. What has happened to good service?"

"Food/Taste/Flavor: 2/5 Chicken katsu mini lunch special had half of the chicken pieces way too dry. The sauce is needed but still doesn't help the texture enough. The Diet Coke/Pepsi we got was a bit odd in taste Loco loco regular with sunny side up eggs. The eggs weren't cooked well with one egg almost completely raw and the other too cooked where it was mostly solid. The burger patty was dry and chewy and not enough gravy Ambience: N/A ordered food to go. Store feels clean and brightly lit Service: 4/5 came during lunch rush and the female manager/cashier did amazing by herself but she was definitely pulled in multiple directions Value for price: 5/5 lots of food for the price"
