"Spectacular! After four courses and a long leisurely dinner a birthday celebration, I can happily and assuredly say Jubilee is exceptionally good. We are big fans of French food and this is truly some of the most delicious food we've had in quite a while. Service was warm, but never intrusive and always professional. In addition, every course was better than the last! (Far too many restaurants can handle appetizers, but fall apart when it comes to entrees NOT Jubilee! Btw, no matter what entree you have, please ask for the haricot verts on the side! Wow!! I love a string bean, but these are crazy good! (I'm sure it's massive amounts of butter, but sooooooo worth it!!! We had beet salad escargot to start, salmon tartare comte cheese ravioli for our second course and Dover Sole Filet Mignon for our mains. Exceptionally well prepared, each dish. After all that we were surprised by a comped dessert a sort of chocolate mousse log with a birthday candle. So thoughtful! All this to say, we will be back and soon! We will definitely not wait till the next birthday celebration for our return visit! Could not recommend Jubilee more highly!"

"I took my wife here yesterday for her birthday, our first visit. With a reservation, we were promptly seated. We enjoyed the restaurant week lunch with various tapas-style dishes. Food and ambiance were good, making us consider returning. However, when settling the bill using my inKind app, I noticed an $11 charge for a mojito instead of the menu-advertised $6. I brought it up with the waiter, who canceled the initial transaction and asked for payment again. Despite explaining my inKind offer, he assured me I'd be refunded. I suggested he reimburse me the $6 overcharge in cash to avoid another transaction and me losing on my offer, but he insisted on the refund process. Unfortunately, I later realized I lost my $25 off $50 inKind offer due to this error, leaving me out of pocket for $25. While we enjoyed the food and ambiance, this experience left a negative impression."

"Went in for our wedding anniversary around 8 on a summer Saturday night and was surprised how few folks were there. Unfortunately, my wife found a fingernail in her wine. Our server was super empathetic, though I kinda expected them to at least comp the next glass (I forgot to check the receipt so it's possible she did and didn't mention it, though I don't think they did based on our final tab . Perhaps we were avoided after that cause nobody refilled my water until we were asking for the check.While that's gross, it isn't meal-ruining. The burrata and strawberries app was yummy and interesting (more of that great toast would be appreciated though! But our street corn was somehow bland despite a lot of visuals, maybe could use some char. My wife's mushroom ragu and my burger (slightly over were both serviceable but unexciting. My fries were good though.Nice ambiance, could see it being really lively and fun with a big open kitchen. But it's also in the hotel lobby so you're getting noise from people hanging out there. Space looks and feels cool.I don't leave a lot of negative reviews, hopefully just an off night."

"Honestly this was a really disappointing visit to ambar. This was my favorite restaurant when I moved to DC in I had reservations for my birthday at We didn’t get seated until so min late. The server fairly came over to our table and we only got min of the hour open food and drinks because apparently they close at on Friday’s. We didn’t get a birthday dessert or anything to celebrate, it was clear they just wanted us out. I was really sad as this was one of my favorite restaurants in DC. I really hope they will try and make this up to me because it was a pretty terrible way to spend a birthday, the light was also way too bright inside. It felt more like a Burger King than a luxury restaurant"

"This adorable place is about 10 blocks from Oracle Park. The food is a bit better than good. The service from our server tonight was lackluster. She was sweet, but everything took incredibly long. The server said it was because the Giants game had just let out. However, if you 've been in business for 140 years and 25 of them have been down the street from the ballpark AND across the street from a hotel, the restaurant is not planning well. 30 mins to get a glass of wine (my husband 's cocktail arrived sooner than the wine . 45 mins for appetizers, though entrees arrived in a reasonable amount of time after the apps (significantly longer than after ordered, though . I know that food delivery times are not the server 's fault, but our server was confused and misrang several items, none of which were modified. At the end, someone else came and asked if we needed anything (it was just after close, but 1.5 hours after we arrived . We asked for a box and our check. When the check arrived, my husband immediately put his card down. Box never arrived. Our server came over and said we could flag anybody down to get the bill. We said we were all ready to pay and pointed out the card and added that we would still like a box. She said Oh! Awesome! I 'll find someone to bring you that box (why not just grab it herself??? and walked away from the payment. We were definitely confused. We watched her do sidework around the dining room for a bit before heading to the bar to pay the bill and ask for a box for the third time. Food as pictured. The jalapeno Avocado mousse on the arancini tasted like bagged guacamole, though the arancini by itself was awesome. The baked goat cheese was incredible!!! Wings were spicy as expected and well executed. Fries, the last appetizer to arrive at our table, were very fresh. We added bacon to the gnocchi which we really enjoyed (a play on a carbonara and we love the rigatoni every time we come here. Summary: visit this place! Atmosphere is cute, the history is cool, food is worth trying (price isn 't bad , but leave yourself plenty of time for service."

"The food was incredibly fresh and so flavorful! It was clear that the chefs put a lot of care and attention into sourcing the best ingredients and preparing them in a way that highlights their natural taste. My favorite dish was the revive bowl and the potato hash. The portion sizes were generous without being overwhelming, and I left feeling satisfied without feeling overly full. I also appreciate that the entire menu is gluten-free, as it can be difficult to find dining options that cater to those with dietary restrictions. We will definitely be back!"

"If you have not had the opportunity to dine at The Rousseau House in Ancaster Ontario (just a few minutes off Hi-way 403) then do yourself a favour and try it!The Rousseau House is 'hands down' one of my favorite restaurants for dining with Friends, Family and for business.This restaurant is located in a beautifully restored Victorian stone manor dating back to 1848 and owned by Andrew Keyshawn, a well known name if the restaurant industry in the Burlington, Hamilton and Ancaster area.If you are dining for lunch or dinner you will not be disappointed. They have an extensive menu along with a fabulous tapas option.....and the oysters are always fresh!Along with a robust wine menu (Napa is my go to region) they also have a good selection of craft beers on tap along with a 'feature tap' that is usually changed about once a month and of course the RH signature cocktails.If you have a business meeting or family function they have 3 rooms to choose from, Panabaker Room, the Solarium (my go to room for my business meetings, can hold up to 16 people comfortably) and the Honeysuckle Room. A big plus is plenty of on-site parking.We have used all three room for both Family functions (birthdays, confirmation dinner) and business meetings (my Team fly in from all over Canada) and never been disappointed.The patio is open from Spring till early Fall and offers a great view of Wilson Street in historical downtown Ancaster. There is also a bar/lounge area with a big screen TV. Perfect place to wind down from a long day or winding up for a great evening.The staff is very friendly and accommodating.....shout outs to Kevin, Mark (knows his wines), Penny, Chris, Nikki, Connor and of course Owner Operator Andrew.You have earned the right to give this restaurant a try, trust me, you will be back. "The noisiest restaurant we've visited in years! The long dining room features bare tables and hard surfaces everywhere, contributing to the din. The only dish we enjoyed was a beet salad. The soups were too spicy, the French chicken was served cold, and the fish we wanted was sold out. Instead, we received a salmon substitute served on succotash, rather than the original sides listed for the dish we ordered. Additionally, the wine list is filled with excessively priced selections. The owners should take a cue from the Hobbit, the top restaurant in Ocean City, which offers a diverse wine list with many fine and affordable options."

"This place started opening in the fall of 2919 but for some reason didn't open until right before the shut down order. Perfect timing.They recently reopened and I have gotten take out a few times. They have an eclectic menu, basically a South American take on the basics like tacos things. They also have an excellent salad selection plus some basic deli items. Prices are good too, especially for the freshly made fruit smoothies.I wish them luck. The space they are in has been a half-dozen places over the past 15 years, with long periods of vacancy."

"Used to love this place. Is this quick service/fast causal now or an actual sit down dining operation? Stopped by on a very slow Wednesday afternoon. No one greeted us upon arrival, gentleman on laptop who I assume is a manager finally looked up to seat us. Sit down and he gets our drinks, then server stops by, we ask her to give us a minute, many minutes later she comes back. I ordered chips& salsa. It took 10 mins to arrive from bartender while I watched our server float around to about 6 tables in restaurant and assist them. No checking on us, asking how food was or provide silverware/napkins. The two bowls also took a long time to arrive at the table for food that is mostly similar to Fresh Kitchen and prepped in advance, Manager never got up to help or assist staff. When I started bussing my own table and remarked to the barkeep that the waitress was not attentive or very good, she shared that she had the whole dining room to work, again maybe 6 table, no more than 4 tops. Ordered 2 meals, chips and salsa plus a soft drink for $40. Lackluster experience for just bland chicken and rice bowls. Won't be back."

"Finding really good Mexican food is extremely difficult for us. We've traveled extensively and tried it everywhere so when we do come across something spectacular like this little place, we have to leave a review. I grew up in Southern California but after leaving, there is a child I could never find the Mexican food that I remembered from there. The rice, the beans, nothing ever seemed quite as good as what I remembered from my childhood. This place however, hit the mark on just about everything on the table especially the rice. It was so good the chicken was amazing whether you had it in your enchilada or what it was so good. The margarita suggested by the bartender was probably one of the better ones I've had out in this area we will be back for sure. The staff was absolutely wonderful and we can't wait to see them again. Wheelchair accessibility: I did not take my wheelchair in because the distance to the door was so short, but you could have done so easily."

"Atmosphere was right...really good service. Food was great, we ordered the street tacos both steak and the chicken. Had to customize it to my liking but it was flavorful and cooked perfectly. All the ingredients were fresh. Chips were warm and salsa was ok. Could use some spice...but thats my opinion. That says a lot considering its hard to find good quality food these days. Must say probably one of the best tacos I've had in a while... 5 stars!!"

"The food is excellent but the service is curt. We had ordered our appetizer and main course simultaneously. The appetizer arrived and was awesome. We waited for over 30 mins for the mains and saw other tables being served even though they arrived 15mins after us. So we asked the server when would the food arrive. Her response was ?it will come when it comes?. But then shewent to the kitchen and our food was on the table in under 30 seconds. Begs the question on how much longer would we have beenmade to wait. The food is great and would heartily recommend it. And that?s why I give a 4 star instead of 2/3"

"I love mixing, and it hurts me to give a B-Corp a bad review. but last year or so mixt has turned into an imitation of his former self. often more than not my order is massacred missing ingredients, or dressing mixed instead when I order it on the side (on more than a lunch for tomorrow). also the portion sizes have been crowned, especially with the new exhaust container, while the prices on the high side remained at 16. I really want that mixes back into his former glory. I like what it stands for and how it works. but at the moment the product is consistently disappointing. I hope they can turn it around."

"Watching the meat grill right in front of me, thanks to the partially open kitchen, added to the excitement and anticipation of the meal. The flavors were absolutely amazing! The meat was tender and full of rich, savory flavor. The freshly baked bread was a highlight, and the spices in the rice truly enhanced its taste. The chickpeas added a lovely texture and flavor to the dish. The staff at Maiwand Kabob were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the dining experience even more enjoyable. Their service was outstanding, and they attended to every detail with care. Overall, I had a fantastic dinner at Maiwand Kabob, and I can't wait to bring my family with me on my next visit. It's definitely a place I would recommend, and I'm excited to try more items from their menu!"
