"Osaka p83 is no longer. It is now called Hanna Tokyo and it's an all you can eat sushi bar with teppenyaki. We went for my daughters birthday because Osaka has always been our favorite hibachi place for celebrations. I made reservations for 4pm and they called me at 410 to see if we were coming and we had just pulled in (they have a 15 min grace period for being late). Keep in mind we made this reservation time because in the past this time is less busy and overstimilating and usually quicker for my autistic daughter. They sat us right away. Our waitress came and got our drink orders quickly and then we waited. It took probably 5 minutes to get drinks while being the only people in the restaurant. Then she came back and said are you guys ready to order or do you need more time. I said we were ready and she said I'll be right back. We waited for 10 min till my husband went and got her. At that point she said oh I thought you needed more time. She took our orders and left. This is where everything became so different from Osaka. We waited close to 30 min before we got our soups and our salads. While we waited at the table closest to the kitchen for our chef to come cook our food we sat and listened to all the waitreses in the restaurant laugh and talk and goof off in the kitchen while we waited. I got just angry enough to get up and go talk to them when our chef finally came out to cook our food. He started out with typical fire and a pretty off color joke which threw me but I didn't want to let that ruin my dinner. It's at this point things just went really really far away from hibachi. He goes on to tell us about his work life and he's been doing this for 17 years he was a manager here and there and a grill master blah blah blah and he's going on and on while he's telling us how he likes his fried rice and he uses a pepper blend and sprinkles it on and he likes his rice crispy so he's gonna cook it like they do hash browns. He cooked our rice in multiple ways over 10 min. He makes a homemade garlic butter he puts on everything and the 3 pepper blend. Those two things is how he seasoned the veggies, the rice and the steak. He also made chicorones out of the fat from the steak to put on our rice. Once he finally gave us our rice it was so crispy it was hard to eat. I didn't end up even eating mine. My husband drowned his in the yum yum sauce cause he had to make it softer. The steak and shrimp were cooked like I'm not even sure, it was a mess. Then at the end of his show he hands us a little slip of paper with his venmo and cashapp so we can tip him or we can tip him in cash. I about fell over and thought what in the actual F. I didn't send him a tip if anyone is wondering. I thought that was so off. All in all the experience went from a solid 10 with Osaka to a 3 for Hanna Tokyo. It honestly was just a terrible experience. Oh I do have to mention we did order sushi and that was good. Not Osaka level but it's good. I would go back for sushi and I might try them for hibachi again but just request not to have that guy."
