"I had the lamb kebobs which were very tasty. The lamb was a little tough which should have called for sharp steak knives but I was able to cut with the butter knife presented. Everyone else ate from the buffet and seemed to enjoy what they got. All buffets suffer from presentation issues on the actual plate, my kebobs were certainly attractive. My dish comes with rice--a lot of rice! I'm not that familiar with Indian food, I was surprised that no sauce was presented for the rice but I mixed the sauce and juice from my plate. The serving was extremely generous-it would actually serve 2 or 3. The ambiance was good, I had my usual difficulty in hearing. Service was disappointing. It was awhile between being seated and getting water and menus. No one took my order until my entire party had returned to the table from the buffet. Everyone at my table was trying to flag down a server. As a consequence I was still eating when everyone was done. We were not presented with a check, I was told that they seldom do and that you had to sort it out at the cash register. That is really not great, you really can't review the bill, especially if the check was split as we did. My wife is convinced that we overpaid, and we probably did but didn't figure it out until we were on the road If we were to go again I'd insist on seeing the bill while I was still at the table."

"We settled in and started with samosas as our appetizer. The crust of each samosa was a perfect golden brown and not overcooked, which was a promising sign. The potato filling was lightly seasoned and tasted fantastic—I would definitely order that again! For our main course, we chose Saag Paneer, Daal Makhani, and a basket of four vegetarian naans. We requested that our food be prepared medium hot. While the Daal and Saag Paneer were delicious, they could have used a bit more heat; I’ll need to ask them to spice it up a bit next time. Our bread basket included fenugreek (methi) naan, aloo paratha, hara bhara (green) naan, and pezaa naan. The first three were simply delightful—I could have been completely satisfied with just those for my meal. However, I wasn't fond of the pezaa naan, which includes cheese, onions, and dried fruits; it had an overpowering onion taste, so I won’t be ordering that again. While we were dining, two ladies at the next table noticed our order and struck up a conversation; they turned out to be regulars at this restaurant. They agreed that the food is generally served mild and could benefit from a bit of extra spice. Overall, I highly recommend this place. It’s definitely worth multiple visits and is one of the best spots to experience Indian flavors. I’m even considering catering food from here for my future parties!"
