"The ambiance is fantastic! They have a wide variety of crepes, mainly leaning towards the sweeter options. There’s plenty of seating available both indoors and outside. I especially love sitting in the glass-enclosed space, which has a lovely Parisian feel. We sampled the lemon blueberry crepe and the chocolate chip Belgian waffle, and both were delicious. I recommend picking up a coffee to go afterwards and taking a leisurely walk in the nearby park just a block away! Overall, the food and atmosphere were enjoyable, but it doesn’t quite make it to my top favorites."

"We have dined her for years but unfortunately the last few visits have been disappointing from good quality to service quality considering the prices. This last visit to be charged a credit card surcharge? In this day and age? $160 for two people and the extra fee? Unacceptable. Many other places to eat at in this area. It’s a shame because the setting is very nice. We ordered mussels no explanation of which is which , calamari chewy , pork roll satay delicious , duck wings were over cooked , and escargot"

"This restaurant review will provide you with some information that is important to know about the restaurant. The review gives the restaurant a one-star rating for the price of a suite in a five-star hotel. The reviewer mentions that the room was loud and old, and the bathrooms were embarrassing due to issues with the water temperature, pressure, and lack of a shower handle. Additionally, the reviewer found the room to be tiny, without a minibar, and only offering tap water. The price of $1000 USD a night was deemed unreasonable, as it is typically not legal for a three-star hotel in Europe to charge prices similar to luxury hotels. The reviewer strongly advises against staying at this restaurant, as they believe it is a nightmare and a rip off."

"When planning my trip to Chicago this restaurant popped up as must try place. My friend and I were NOT disappointed. It is intimate seating so you are close to your dining neighbor but we didn 't find this intrusive. In fact, we had a nice chat with the couple sitting next to us about our hot chocolate and they ended up ordering the same thing. The food was fresh, superb quality and I am very appreciative to restaurants that utilize local, seasonal fare. We loved the hot chocolate so much we ended up going to Revival Food Hall near our hotel just to have another cup before leaving the city. Definitely would go back during another trip to the Windy City!"

"We always go to the Copper Kitchen for a special occasion or to bring people from the family. We've had always great experiences. Well, this one wasn't so much. The hostess did an awesome job. My congratulations to him. We got our beautiful spot. When we were having a chat this lady came and pour our water without saying a word. Like: NOTHING. We looked at each other surprised but we thought She must be the busser (My husband is a restaurant manager and we've both worked for the restaurant industry so we know what this is about). After a while, the same lady came to our table to take our drinks order. Happened to be the same girl who poured our water. She didn't acknowledge the fact that we were with babies (Something you would do at least while being fake to MAKE YOUR TIPS She only asked about drinks and right after if we had decided in our drinks. She did not take the time to introduce herself, or to explain the specials from that night. After waiting for a while, we saw our drinks going to another table and as it was the one next to us, I turned around and explained the lovely couple what was going on. We all laughed and she did apologized the other table when realized but never said anything to us. We had finally our drinks and appetizer which she never asked how it was. Then we asked for salt and pepper which went to another table again. We were SO looking forward to our dinner here and we did not bring home the best experience. What we can say is that we really like the food quality and that it is original. I have to say that I'm not sure If I will be coming back but what I do think is that the manager should be paying attention to their servers and recommend tips or training to those like ours that time. I even put a note as it was a special occasion (My moms death anniversary). There was NO interaction or care for our table. We usually tip more than what we're supposed to. Not this time. Too bad."

"Christmas in Old Alexandria with my family. Large group so options were limited. We found ourselves here and based on previous reviews we thought it would be good but we were underwhelmed. Seems like the consistent feedback from my group is that everything was almost good, but nothing hit the spot. Lacked seasoning, lacked a finishing touch, etc.; nothing special. Definitely won’t return. Very attentive server. Manager attentive. But it was Christmas Day so we appreciated having an option. We were starving and left full. Sometimes that has to be enough."

"Everything was okay place is small and cramped. Latte just tasted like a regular coffee I could buy at a corner deli but cost way more. The guy that made the latte was nice. I ordered The Works bagel but it wasn’t a bagel but a sandwich ? No bathroom and when I asked several times, the people that worked there just said “outside” but I walked outside after waiting for my food and there was nothing. There was also no room to sit so I walked home instead to eat. I don’t know, I did not feel that the experience, and the latte and food I ordered was all worth $21 "

"Went for Downtown Dining Week. This restaurant was on the $35 list, however service was significantly below that level. There was a long wait between courses, but plates were not cleared off the table until the next course arrived. Our server appeared very disinterested in our table. It also took a long time for drink orders to be delivered. New silverware was not provided and I was explicitly asked to remove my fork from the plate so the server could clear the plate. The food was decent to good, but nothing special. None of these issues would be that bad had they not all occurred or had the restaurant been on the $25 list instead."

"This is one of the best WeWork locations I've visited recently. It features great spaces, friendly staff, and reliable keycard access, along with a variety of drink and food options. With four floors available, I never had trouble finding a desk or a phone booth. The WiFi was strong, and there were plenty of power outlets."

"We had dinner on 8/12/2022. We were quite excited about this restaurant. When we arrived, we were pleasantly greeted by staff. Once seated, it was a different story. Our server only gave us the restaurant week menu when others were given both restaurant week and regular menus. I had to ask for the regular menu. Our wine glasses were almost immediately removed from our table. It was only when I asked for the wine list that the server left one glass for me. When I asked my nephew if he wanted wine, the server immediately said that my nephew isn't drinking because he will ask for an ID. I said my nephew has ID. Then the food came. The wait staff couldn't tell us clearly what we ordered. Then one wait staff asked if we wanted more sparkling water, so I said no but would like another glass of coke for my other nephew. He came back with another bottle of sparkling wine and proceeded to pour. I had to tell him that I didn't order another bottle of water but that I ordered another glass of coke. When I received the bill, it had the two bottles of water on it. I had to tell the server that I didn't order two bottles. He immediately removed it from my bill. The food was fine and the wine was good. The service left a bad taste in our mouths. This place is pricey and Daniel Boulud is one of the best chefs in the world. It was very disappointing that the service at this place was bad. I can't even justify the actions of the wait staff, whether it was discriminatory because my nephews looked very young and I would hate to think that we were judged by the wait staff. Service at Robuchon and Jean Georges are much better."

"We made reservations last Saturday at noon to celebrate my niece's 10th birthday. Unfortunately it was anything but a celebration. We were told the restaurant was heavily understaffed. However when we arrived the area was quite empty. There were 6 people in our party and we ordered drinks and a couple of platters to start. We were not offered water or given any cutlery. We asked for plates twice as we were sharing and were told they didn't have enough plates, so were washing the used ones. We never got the plates, and as seen, we resorted to using napkins as plates. No one checked up on us during the visit, and once we gave feedback on our poor experience, our server became very hostile. We had the supervisor come over who was very responsive and said that he would bring this up with the manager who is in later that evening and would be contacting me. We never heard back from them. Also, we were overcharged on our drinks. Safe to say that we will never be returning to this establishment nor recommending to our friends and family."

"This place may not be ideal for those who are uncomfortable in non-vegetarian restaurants. There is a long list of meat sandwiches served. Still, the quality and selection of vegan desserts were amazing. There is a dessert case devoted exclusively to vegan cakes (about 6-8 choices), and I found it hard to choose. I went with the raspberry chocolate mousse cake, and was glad I did. It's shocking that a place that's not exclusively vegan can do such a great job; the cake was fresh, light, smooth, and perfect. It had no overly sugary or fatty taste or texture, as some novice attempts at vegan desserts tend to have. I've never had a better vegan dessert in any bakery or restaurant, after fifteen years of being vegan. For an entree of sorts, the only real option is the hummus and veggie sandwich (called Eat Your Veggies), which good and served on excellent, fresh bread, although for non-vegans there is a veggie cheeseburger."

"my wife and I stopped eating on Tuesday night in this week. we were very kindly greeted by the staff, and our waiter was solicitous and efficient. we ordered a burger and shared him with something broccolini, a few glasses wein, and the suppe of the day that was tomaten with, I think was goat cheese. the burger was great, the broccolini good, and the tomaten soup was forgotten, taste more than someone just a few cento tomatenpaste, a bit water, maybe a little salt and pfeffer, and throw some goat cheese up. the wine selection by the glass was good, but no bargain. there was a promotion on beer, but it was pitcher, and an inconspicuous US mass market beer, so no interest there. the online next promotion was $12 burger and beer, but from some reason we seemed to have missed the point there - the materials they seemed to be delivering to emphasize the beer pitcher and not the $12 burger with it. we probably didn't understand. we paid something like $60 for a burger, a suppe and two glasses wein. that was very elevated to my view. I think we could have gone to mortons or after the capital grile and got less better food. Despite that, it was good, the place had a great ambiente, and the waiting staff and the management were very nice and appealing. it looks like a great place to be together with a friend or two for happy hour, the advantages of cheap appetizers and drinks."

"We spent Christmas in Old Alexandria with my family, and with a large group, our options were somewhat limited. We ended up at this restaurant, encouraged by the previous reviews, but we were left feeling underwhelmed. The general consensus among my group was that while everything was almost good, nothing really stood out. The food lacked seasoning and a finishing touch; it was just lacking that special something. I don’t think we’ll come back. On the positive side, our server was very attentive, and the manager was also responsive. However, since it was Christmas Day, we were grateful to have any option at all. We arrived hungry and left feeling full, which sometimes has to be enough."

"My husband and I were traveling through Lynchburg on our way to Luray four the weekend. We wanted to stop and enjoy something local and get out of the car for awhile. The restaurant had no control over their musical entertainment act which was WAY too loud for the space. Lack of talent aside, the guy practically ate the microphone and the volume was so offensive you had to shout to be heard. The food was a HUGE let down. We ordered the signature shrimp and grits. My shrimp came out with the veins left on and my grits were like a bowl of paste. No self respecting southerner would have eaten those. Plus that 's literally the only thing in the dish...6 shrimp ants a mound of pasty grits. No bacon, sausage, peppers, cheese, no flavor, seasoning. They were horrible! The starter salad we ordered was drowning in dressing... it was just a mess. The bartender was the only one working the whole bar area alone. Her did the best he could but come on? We saw other servers... what were you doing? And it took an hour an a half! Will not go back!"
