"This is the best food I have ever had! Everything they prepare at this restaurant is absolutely incredible. Despite my usual dislike for vegetables, I find myself enjoying every vegetable dish they offer. Their cauliflower curry is especially delicious. I suggest visiting this restaurant frequently and trying a different dish each time. You will not be disappointed. If only this place were closer to my home, I would dine here every week."

"Made with love. We are lucky that we don?t have to venture into the wild and hunt for delicious Nepalese food anymore coz Butter Chicken serves perfect homely cooked food near by us. I bet you will get authentic taste of Nepal who hasn't tried Nepali food yet and those of you homies will feel home away from home. Perfect location, down to earth service and amazing food what else you need."

"We recently ordered, take from Royal India Bistro, and the mango ice we had ordered was not in the pocket when we came home. We thought it was not a big deal and simply called to remove it from our bill, but they offered us to deliver it to us, even though we were outside their delivery area! Someone showed up with the mango ice cream, just like we finished our dinner, and it was delicious (like the rest of the food was! We will definitely be back for more of their amazing food and fantastic customer service!"

"We decided to try this place while here in the area for a while. I'm not familiar with Indian food in general apart from really basic things like chicken tandoori and samosas so I decided to try this place out with my family. I got the chicken tandoori rice bowl in mild. Sadly, it was still way too spicy for me so I wasn't able to eat much of it but it tasted good and was prepared nicely and was a decent portion size. My husband had the szechuan chicken rice bowl which he enjoyed but even as a spicy food lover, his was still pretty hot for him. My son had the chicken tandoori burger which he ate about half of and of course he finished the fries that came with it. The cocktail samosas were amazing, I had the majority of them lol. The last thing we had was the masala fries, which again, were good but a little too spicy for me. I think if we tried this place again, I would have to go there and ask questions about the food instead of ordering online for pickup."

"The restaurant was lively on a Friday night, filled with lively chatter and families. The wait staff was friendly and polite, though slightly slow with some orders. Despite this, the dining experience was pleasant. While not the most romantic atmosphere, it is great for a casual meal with friends."

"The prices are reasonable, but the food could use significant improvement. We ordered three vegetarian dishes, and nearly all of them fell short of restaurant quality. The daal makhani tasted more like homemade moong daal and was overly seasoned with turmeric. The gravy for the paneer masala wasn't fully cooked. The saag chana was acceptable, but the saag itself requires some attention. Overall, it felt more like eating home-cooked food than dining out at a restaurant. On the positive side, the service was attentive and prompt."

"So disappointed with this meal i received a large plate of rice, lots of sauce and very little meat . However This was not true for other people who entered this restaurant I felt truly marginalized I should have spoken up ! Well I will never ever return they lost a customer who eats out often Last year a male worked at this restaurant he was kind ,fair and always pleasant Today alady server was their she was horrible as a customer service representative I hope this restaurant takes these comments to heartas the viability of their restaurant can be affected by one person’s lack of business ethics and absence of customer service competence ."

"It 's easy to impress me. I don 't need a fancy party with caviar or champagne...nor do I need scintillating company...give me the most rustic, homey food and my family for company with some good laughs thrown in...and I am over the top impressed We went in here with low expectations and a groupon $40 worth of food for $29 . I looked at the menu online and it looked good standard north indian . One thing worth noting is prices in the online menu are different from the prices in the printed menu in the restaurant eg. we ordered the Maharaja Non vegetarian Royal Feast for two which is listed on the online menu for $40.95 but was actually $44.95 in the printed menu . That said the food offered and their service was well worth the money spent. We left tummy full and very happy with the courteous service shout out to Harry the host who patiently answered our questions about the meal and was over all wonderful! We also saw a lot of people walk in and out and try their appetizers as a part of a Restaurant Walk...they were leaving blown away with the experience and happy : Now coming to the meal we ordered the feast because we wanted to taste a variety of different things They started us off with the roasted papadum which was brilliant with the sweet tamarind chutney and the spicy koriander chutney. Our appetizers were a malai chicken tikka which was very well spiced, flavored and tender/moist and a sheekh kabab lamb which was flawlessly executed. Our main meal was a Lamb Kheema Matar again executed perfectly, really well cooked and a chicken tikka masala which my son absolutely loved . With these entrees they got us whole wheat tandoori rotis we didnt ' want the garlic naan as it 's cooked with white flour/maida and they graciously substituted...bottomline if you ignore the health flag I have heard that the garlic naan is OUT OF THIS WORLD and mildly flavored basmati rice. They got us an order of Dal Makhani Which was excellent and I lived in Delhi, so I have had some really good Dal Makhani ,a peas and potato curry excellent! and raita it was good! . Harry also got us raw red onions and lemon to complement our meal we asked for it and he remembered to get it for us with our meal . He got us extra tandoori rotis as my family is not a rice eating family at no charge . Our dessert was soft, yummy Gulab Jamoons with Kheer....that my son annhilated. We will definitely be repeating this experience it was brilliant !!!"

"This hole in the wall is all about textures and layers. As an aficionado of all South Asian food, this is a Manhattan gem. The price is reasonable. Don't ask the proprietor what is best, it is all excellent. Give him direction about what you wish to eat: veggie, lamb, seafood or chicken; and then spice. He will help you. His level four spice is not too strong, it enhances the flavor: you will feel the layers of spice on your tongue. We found this in a search for halal food and we were not disappointed.Vegetarian options: We noticed clear vegetarian options. The table next to us was equally pleased with their veggie meal.Dietary restrictions: We were looking for halal and found it."

"We were for hungry women looking for something delicious to eat. We stumbled across this place because it was right in the vicinity and we were happy we did because the food was delicious. However, when we ordered the food we found out that they charge you for the rice. I have never ever seen any Indian restaurant in Long Island that charges for rice. It was ridiculous I will order was over $85 and we could not have been given any rice with our entree?????? We thought it was absurd. So I went to go and pick up the order I spoke to one of the staff members who stated that Rice does not come with the order. So I'm assuming that when an order is made by phone or when we sit at the table we would not get any rice how absurd is that really. I understand the pandemic has placed a lot of business in the rear however this was really ridiculous. The staff member was pleasant and as I explained to him I have been to many restaurants specifically Indian restaurant where they would gladly serve rice with an entree especially with an order that was $85 or more. I gather he understood how serious this was to us he then decided to give us an order of rice but I informed him we already began cooking up our own rice at home and that it was not necessary. I don't think it should be one should force a staff or a business to give rice to their customers when their order is expected to come with rice. I saw nothing on the menu that said rice was not included. Now I don't know if this only pertains to outgoing orders or seated in the restaurant but I'll tell you what even though the food is not was absolutely delicious we decided it wasn't worth the $6 and we will not be back again. I think this restaurant should really consider putting a smile on their customers face and change their practice of not including rice in each order we ordered four entrees and some appetizers. I will stick with the restaurant that I am familiar with from now on. This was our first time and certainly our last. It may not be a big deal for some people to pay the extra $6 but certainly one should be notified before the customer makes the order that rice is not included. No one should have to be surprised especially when they're hungry. One of the biggest traditions with ordering Indian food is to enjoy the rice with the meal so once again why not serve RICE? So to the owner can you please place on your menu that rice is not included so that no one else would be surprised when they get home with an entree of food and find that's all they have?"

"This is one of the best places to eat in San Jose. I'm not saying that they are a 5 star restaurant that will awe you with their incredible atmosphere. On the contrary, they are a small unassuming spot in a strip mall where every dish and each person welcomes you in with comfort and genuine flavor. On top of that, they have an entire counter full of beautiful and delicious sweets.I am not an expert in cuisine from India, so I can't tell you which region their menu best represents but over the few years I've had to enjoy this place I've noticed that a very large percentage of their clients are Indian. So they must be doing something right in terms of authenticity.Thankfully they truly seem intent on spreading the love of their cuisine with anyone that walks through the door. The staff is knowledgeable and graciously patient with all questions about the menu.Normally I would break down the meal we just had here but it honestly does not matter. If you enjoy Indian cuisine or are curious about it, come here.Vegetarian options: There is a great selection of vegetarian dishes. The Vegetable Biryani is delicious.Parking: This is a strip mall. There is a great deal of parking, but you might need to cross a bit of parking lot to get to the restaurant.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a Wheelchair accessible ramp up onto the sidewalk very close to the entrance. There are a few tables in he center of the restaurant that can be set up for people with limited mobility.Dietary restrictions: They are very good about answering questions concerning ingredients and substitution when possible."

"My partner and I absolutely adore this place, it has quickly become our top restaurant in the Denver area. The dishes here have amazing flavor profiles, and almost everything on the menu can be made vegan. The owner is proactive about accommodating any gaps in the menu for vegan options. The spice level is a bit milder than anticipated, so next time I'll likely opt for a hotter dish instead of medium. The dining area is spotlessly clean, and the staff is remarkably friendly and welcoming."

"This was my 2nd time and I loved it even more. Took the whole family for my sister's birthday. We had the pizza that was out of this world, great crust. Gnocchi, ravioli ... everything is so fresh and delicious. John, the owner, is a real gentleman and knows how to take care of his customers and the server we had that evening. I never felt rushed and could just enjoy the atmosphere and the great food. I highly recommend this restaurant. We look forward to a reunion."

"The naan was outstanding, but the desserts were a letdown. I had hoped for a larger selection at the Sunday lunch buffet, so I left feeling a bit disappointed. We ended up seating ourselves because no one came to welcome us. The food itself was decent; the rice was quite ordinary—something I could easily make at home. The curries were mostly sauces with only a few bits of vegetables or meat. I highly recommend skipping the desserts altogether. I’ve never encountered such stale and rubbery gulab jamuns. The carrot halwa was too watery and lacking in sweetness, while the badam kheer tasted like the rice pudding served in a school cafeteria. On the bright side, the fresh naans were simply incredible, definitely not the store-bought frozen variety. For those alone, I would consider returning. Overall, I would rate this place as average if it weren't for the naan."
