"Staff was very friendly and the food was good once it arrived but it was clear that their delivery service took priority over dining in. Our food took forever to come out and the staff apologised saying it's because it was very busy that night. Mind you, there were only two other tables occupied so I assume their delivery service kept the kitchen tied up. It was also quite hot in the restaurant as there was no A/C. I would definitely consider order take out or delivery in the future but unlikely to return to dine-in."

nimbooda was an unexpectedly good Indian place. we came without expectations, except for those who generally love with Indian food. my lamb biryani was well prepared, the lamb tender, and the pickles came without asking him. my companion had lammroganjosh with whom she was happy and generally, if she is happy, then I am happy. So there.

came to nimbooda for lunch during a weekday, as it was on foot to the brooklyn museum. there was no other in the restaurant, except my friend and me, so we sat immediately and with such an attentive and friendly service. we ordered the cheese naan, shrimp curry, goan salmon and coconut rice, all were savory and very well cooked. in addition there is wifi. Nimbooda turned out to be a pleasant surprise for us. We didn't have high expectations when we arrived, but we generally enjoy Indian food. The lamb biryani was delicious with tender meat and complimentary pickles. My companion also enjoyed her lamb roganjosh. Overall, if she's happy, then I'm happy too. So, there you have it – a great dining experience at Nimbooda.

I had lunch at Nimbooda on a weekday because it is within walking distance of the Brooklyn Museum. The restaurant was empty except for my friend and me, so we were seated quickly and received very attentive and friendly service. We ordered the Cheese naan, Shrimp Curry, Goan Salmon, and Coconut Rice, all of which were delicious and cooked perfectly. The restaurant also offers WiFi.

"When we called to reserve a table, no one informed us that there was a dining time limit of 1.5 hours. My friend wanted to invite more people to join us for dinner, but I was unsure if everyone would agree to the minimum charge of $60, including taxes and tips. I confirmed a reservation for 7 people during my second call, but ultimately, only 6 of us showed up. The table we were given was quite small, making it uncomfortable for six people, especially with the mandatory minimum spending of $60, as well as a 20% tip. For just two people, the minimum tip is 18%. I was confused about the dining time limit—was it two hours or 1.5? The party area was limited to just the backyard for additional seating. I was with friends who didn’t know the group well, and we arrived early at 3 PM, but we couldn’t wait until 6:30 PM. That’s why we ended up sitting at a separate table for two. Unfortunately, the restaurant didn’t seem to care and couldn’t arrange for us to be seated closer together. We had no choice in the matter. To make matters worse, the female waiter had a poor attitude. It felt like we were dining in a sidewalk market. She questioned another girl who served me ponzu sauce, apparently because I looked impatient when I saw her face. Her attitude only worsened after that. It seems like they need to train their employees better, as they seem unaware of how to provide good service. As for the food, it was just okay, typical of basic Japanese cuisine. There were too many restrictions! Customers are forced to adhere to the restaurant’s rules and limitations. I cannot recommend this place unless someone is specifically looking for a fast-food experience. In short, I don’t think I’ll be returning next time."
