"The rib steak was a nice boneless cut, although I would have preferred it a bit thicker. They cooked it to a perfect medium rare! The flavor was good but a bit bland; a little salt and pepper brought it to life. The crab cakes were generous in size and moist, with a satisfying crab flavor that avoided the pitfalls of being overly fishy or stale—definitely no imitation crab here! The clam chowder was excellent: rich and creamy, packed with clams. However, the dish lost some points for presentation. The butter wrapped in foil and the plastic cup of sour cream didn't quite match the $35 price tag. A small pot of whipped butter, a bowl of sour cream, and some garnished potatoes would have elevated the presentation nicely.
The desserts, on the other hand, were fantastic. The key lime cake and peanut butter cake are made in-house and definitely worth every penny! I would likely return, but the pricing might influence my decision. Overall, it’s a solid choice for a casual meal."
