"I stopped by today for the first time after meaning to visit for a while, and I really should have done it sooner! The ribs were delicious; they practically fell off the bone and were complemented by incredibly flavorful sauces. The sides were so good that I actually ended up enjoying them before the ribs. But what truly stood out was the staff—everyone was exceptionally nice and helpful, guiding me through the menu since I was a bit overwhelmed with choices. Throughout my meal, they treated every customer with the same care and checked in with me to see how everything was tasting, even thanking me for coming in. This won't be my last visit, despite it not being on my usual routes. Thank you for making my meal and day so memorable!"

"Highly recommend Billy Sims Barbecue! Upon entering all of the staff was friendly and helpful, offering suggestions of their favorites and answering any questions we had as first timers. I had the pulled pork sandwich and the meat was mouth watering and tender. My husband had the chopped brisket sandwich and it was gone in a blink. Mac and cheese was great and also really liked the baked potato salad! For dessert we grabbed the chocolate mousse and the best part was it came in a mason jar to take any left over to go!! Thanks, we will be back!"

"I've lived in California (Tri-tip), Texas (BBQ), South Carolina (BBQ), and Upstate New York (Dinosaur BBQ), and this place might just take the cake. The ribs practically fall off the bone, the Texas toast is soft and buttery, the brisket is tender and juicy, and the pulled pork is bursting with flavor. The green beans had a unique taste I couldn't quite identify, but I didn't dwell on it for long before they vanished! The beans were hearty and perfectly seasoned. The Boot Kickin' sauce (hot BBQ) was fantastic—not too spicy, so it's great for those who are cautious about heat. I wasn't particularly impressed with the sweet and mild sauce. It was decent and I have no complaints, but it was my least favorite part of the meal. I highly recommend this place; the prices are reasonable too! I suggest the three-meat dinner with brisket, two ribs (you actually get four), and adding pulled pork (or another option) for just $2.99."

"Left the loaf of bread out of my order, wanted me to drive back to the store instead of just refunding my money. Now I have to call a General Manager because I placed an online order and nothing can be done now, according to the entire staff. UPDATE: I sent an email as requested, but haven 't received a response yet. Not sure why you responded if you had no intentions of following up. I suppose you think it makes you look better in the eyes of the people reading these reviews but all you 've done is wasted more of my time and caused further irritation by your total lack of customer service. All over an overpriced $5 pack of buns that you never gave me."

"I ordered delivery through DoorDash and unfortunately found a piece of plastic in the chopped beef. I reached out to the owner, David, who was very responsive and tried to resolve the issue by sending another meal through DoorDash. He personally handled the order and even covered the delivery cost. David was friendly and genuinely concerned about my experience. The second meal arrived right on schedule, but, regrettably, the chopped beef still had plastic in it. When I informed David, he was incredulous and immediately offered to send another order, but I declined as I didn't want to inconvenience him further. On a positive note, the bologna was fantastic, and the mac and cheese was delicious. The sweet and mild BBQ sauce was also very good. David is a top-notch owner, and I plan to order from here again—just steer clear of the chopped beef. Thank you for your help, David!"

"I was somewhat let down by my experience at this restaurant. I might consider giving it another try in the future. When I visited, I ordered the last 2-3 ribs on the rack, but found them to be a bit dry and tough. Despite hearing positive reviews about them, they didn't quite meet my expectations this time. However, I did enjoy the hot link and preferred the hot sauce over the hickory flavor. The corn was flavorful but a little too soft for my liking."

"I've been having lunch at Billy Sims in the last 10 years, but that was the first visit that was terrible that I came home and the food wasn't as good as all the other visits the girl in the window looks sick and disgusting. And I would like to have company knowledge, but every other time I visit. There's this Zach Dude and a Kemper dude. I don't know if they're still working there, but they have to get them back, so the place sells more grill because of them. You have good customer service and the food was always good when these people work, but today it was not good. And I was also served onions and pickles and I never had that from Billy Sims every time I ordered the same stuff I've never received, but today I have it and it was nasty onions and pickles. And I also got jalapeno paprika on the bottom of the plate with onions and pimples. Billy Sims should spend military rebate for their people because we're on military."

"Unsanitary food preparation, poor atmosphere. We ordered over $40 worth of food, including a salad. The workers were wearing black gloves, and I was surprised to see the older woman, gloves on and still covered with the shredded cheese from preparing my salad, take my credit card. I thought, Oh, surely she will change gloves for the next customer 's food preparation. But no. She proceeded to use those same gloves to touch and prepare the next person 's food. How many dirty credit cards, bills and coins had she touched before making my food? Post-COVID, there is no excuse for this kind of health violation. I am not interested in going back. "The food is good but you better be ready to wait 45 mins at the drive thru even if you’re the only customer they have! Placed the order online and still had to wait 30 mins in the drive thru to pick it up, this is ridiculousMaybe instead of arguing with your customers over your horrible service you should try to correct your issue. It doesn’t matter if you place the order an hour ahead of time or pull up there, the wait time is always 30 mins plus. "So we just stopped in here for a quick lunch on our way to Wyoming and weren't impressed. We both ordered the chopped pork sandwich and macaroni and cheese and both were cold. "Will NOT be returning. My husband and I were really excited to try this place. He got the 1/2 rack of ribs with potato salad and beans. I got the 3 meat dinner with pulled pork, chicken, and brisket with corn on the cob, toast, and mac and cheese. Eventhough the meats were decent, there were WAY more negatives. 1) rib meat was VERY fatty. 2) no sauce- both containers even said need sauce ...we got none just dry meat. 3) potato salad had a bad taste like it was spoiled. 4) the toast was bread doused inbutter not toast. 5) the corn on the cob was not fresh. It had no salt no butter and was mushy. Tasted like the frozen cobs youcan buy and then they let it sit for hours. 6) the Mac and cheese I swear was FROZEN SCHOEFFERS Mac and cheese. I am 100% sureon that. VERY DISAPPOINTING meal and cost us $50. I highly DO NOT recommend."

"We chose to eat here because we wanted to see what all the hype was about. It was our first time eating here and it for sure will be the last. First the lady that was making our order asked us what we wanted and when we told her she acted like shedidn't hear us and would ask again rudely slamming the meat down on the cutting board. We ordered three of the 12.99 meals. Wewhen I went to pay for it the gentleman that was at the register was extremely rude. He stated that the total was over $55, towhich I asked him for clarification on why and he got even more disrespectful with me stating that I ordered sliced meats sothat add to the price. However I only order sliced brisket for one meal which I was fine paying for but the other two meals hadNO sliced meats in them and he still wanted to charge me for them anyway. He would not listen to what I was asking, justcontinue to be rude. It doesn't end there , when we got home to eat all the food was cold and we didn't even get the right meatthat we had asked for. Total came to over $55 when it should of be about $39 plus tax. DONT waste your time with this placeunless you like being talked to very disrespectful and wasting your money on food you didn't order. "Good Bless Billy Sims. Every Sooner fan loves him and his restaurant lives up to the legacy. If you want a mouthful of a sandwich try the Heisman. It's loaded with the good stuff: smoked bologna, a hot link and your choice of either chopped brisket or pulled pork. I chose the brisket and I recommend it. It's good enough that you don't need to add sauce. The sauces are all good to me. The staff here was awesome, very pleasant. Another plus, it's not overpriced! Check it out if you get the chance."

You can choose from a variety of sauces and sides, including three different types of potato salad.
