"Love this place. I ordered the chicken fajita nachos which were good and I’ll be happily eating leftovers tomorrow. I barely ate anything because my allergies were acting up terribly and curbed my appetite. But the food was definitely delicious. Mine was meant as an appetizer to be shared. I knew I wouldn’t be sharing and would have ordered chicken fajitas for dinner, so ordering this instead of a meal just made sense to me.I got the fried ice cream for dessert which was tasty but not what I was expecting. I thought it would be vanilla ice cream encrusted in crispy deep fried rice like I’ve had in the past. It was a fried tortilla bowl with vanilla ice cream drizzled in chocolate syrup and sprinkles. So I was a little disappointed with that because due to my braces it was difficult to eat the tortilla at all until it got a little soggy and I could break pieces off. Then it got better but still wasn’t quite the texture and taste I was hoping for.Hubby and our friend got the burrito gigante and both of them finished their food despite it being rather large. Hubby says it was delicious. He also ordered the vallerta sampler which I had some mozzarella sticks from with super stretchy cheese that was fun to eat and yummy. He enjoyed the quesadilla, chorizo queso, the jalapeño poppers (a little spicy but not too much and definitely not eye watering for him or our friend) and took home the wings. He was also very happy to see they had Lime Jarritos which he will always order if anyone carries it. It’s hard to find Lime and he loves it!The atmosphere was nice and small (not a negative but an observation that makes you feel like you could be a regular and know the owner) with both booths and tables. The decor I loved with a modelo piñata, sombrero and other various themed items. It was fairly busy but we didn’t feel neglected. We did possibly overstay our welcome as we sat talking a while after we finished our food, got boxes, paid the check, and moved all the dishes and everything to the end of the table. While they did clean up things as they walked by, they never said anything or made us feel like we had to leave. We had decent service and, as I often mention in my reviews, I got a refill and didn’t have to mention I needed no ice in my drink. I did have to catch our waiter to order dessert but to be fair I barely touched my food and they ate a lot. So he likely thought we were done and he didn’t want to pressure us for the check and make us feel like we had to leave. For the three of us it was just over $100 with tip. About $83 without tip. We got a lot of food for that money though.I am only disappointed I couldn’t eat more and that I didn’t try the Spanish rice which is usually my favorite part aside from the veggies in chicken fajitas. I didn’t think about that when ordered my appetizer for dinner, so silly me on that. All in all and good experience with enjoyable food."

"I do NOT recommend. Ordered delivery off their menu, from their website. Food is delivered. Half of my pancakes were missing. Like chunks out the pancakes missing. Called the restaurant, got no help. Brought the food back to the restaurant to show them how my food was delivered. They refused to help me, stating I need to contact an entirely different company that I never contacted in the first place if I want a refund. Owner/manager (whoever the guy was) yelled at me, cursed at me, gaslighted me saying everyone else in the restaurant was having a great experience, took the food (aggressively and extra dramatically), dumped it out of the containers and back into the bag it was delivered in, and threatened to call the cops on me. Simply because I asked for the order to be fixed or get a refund. I just wanted some pancakes and for my order to be fixed. I shouldn’t have to call a completely different company to correct my order when I ordered directly off the Eggstacy website and am standing directly in front of you asking for the order to be fixed. I ended up just leaving my food there because the guy just would not stop yelling at me. My food did not get replaced, and I did not get a refund. I will never give them my business again. Ever. I will never recommend them to anyone. Horrible, terrible, awful experience. May God help them with self reflection to improve their ways."

"We had a late night dinner here. Seems a bit busy. Mekka was very nice she was the girl who entertained us and saw us at the front desk. She was very entertaining and very accommodating. The food was great. I love my crab sandwich. Everyone in our table loved their food. The food served fast and was very huge. BUT i am docking a star. Unfortunately our server is having a bad day or something. I didn't catch her name. She was not in the mood. Everytime we asked for something like water or beer she gives us a look of loathing. She was very unhappy but we didn't even asked for a lot. Just water and beer. Our visitors from the Philippines were so offended by her attitude. We didn't do anything to make her so absolutely hideous to us. We were embarrassed to our companions and apologized for such a rude behavior of the server. Mekka apologized for the server she also mentioned the server seemed very agitated. Let me make this clear. We were very nice and weren't rude. But even at the last minute my husband was sprayed by the server with the cleaning Chemicals since she was already cleaning the table while we were still sitting there. It was not that late we didn't take long with eating our food. I don't know if the server is pissed that she was the only one working the tables. And the other guys weren't helping much. But still please don't treat your customers with such disrespect. Even if the food taste great it gets ruined from the horrible service of the server."

"We booked our Christmas dinner here as we are visiting New Orleans. My fiance ordered the fried shrimp and green tomatoes, which featured overcooked shrimp. Ah, well, I thought. Perhaps the main will be better. I ordered the prix fixe, with the main course being roast turkey. When the plate came out, I was surprised that it was the odd ends and bits of the turkey. I decided to try it anyway, since I like dark meat, and found that the turkey pieces were dried out end pieces that had been sitting for a while. Disgusting. I sent it back and the waitress said she would bring a new plate. She came back and said that they couldn't offer me the turkey but that I could order something else. I did. I soon saw that the tables around me were being served the roast turkey dinner with decent cuts of the turkey. I decided to take it up with the manager, who did not know why the staff would not have offered me another plate and asked me if I knew why, as if I would know why his own kitchen staff does what they do. When the replacement dish--blue crab and avocado toast with a side salad--arrived, it seemed okay. I noticed a bug in the salad. At this point, I called over the waitress and asked for our check. She informed me that the manager had comped the meal, but that hardly makes up for such a horrendous experience. This was supposed to be our Christmas dinner, and we chose a restaurant in the Roosevelt believing that the dinner would be a good experience. It was not only inedible and disgusting, but the reaction of the kitchen staff and the manager so insulting, and the experience was so awful that I shall never again to set foot in a restaurant affiliated with the Waldorf Astoria chain. In all my years of dining out, this is easily the worst dining experience I've ever had. Stay clear of this awful pit of despair masquerading as a restaurant, because your only reward will be disgusting inedible food and a shocking ineptitude and apathy when they ruin your night out."
