"I used to visit their other locations frequently. They reopened this location last year, and I was so happy to see that. As I had visited their previous location and the food quality was pretty good. I was just worried if their quality would go down now when they reopened. But honestly it was the same, or maybe even better. We ordered few sharable plates and were pleased with everything that we had ordered. We got Samosa, aloo papri chaat for appetizers. We ordered the palak paneer, malai kofta and paneer tikka along with some tandoori garlic naan and rotis. Everything was great, and they will adjust the spices/salt if you ask. Earlier in their previous location, I tried hariyali paneer and that was my favorite! We ordered way too much in the excitement of trying out multiple dishes lol. They even gave us complimentary rice with our left overs. Clean, tasty, professional and great Indian restaurant!"

"Everything was as elegant as it was delicious from apps to dessert, especially the tuna bombs! My Dad and his girlfriend were really impressed and blown away by the royal treatment lavished upon us. I can't wait to try more dishes. And I want to specifically point out how fantastic, knowledgable, perfectly-spirited and sweet our server, Corine (spelling? was. She never steered us wrong."

"Beautiful dining room and ethnic decoration. Delicious food and friendly service. Bhartha, $15, is a sweet creamy dish of roasted eggplants. Chicken Achari, $16, is a tomato pure curry with acidic, sweet and spicy flavors that are increased by grounded pepper cone. Both are unique and delicious. The owner is helpful to explain the menu and the dishes that make it great experience."

"This is the best Indian food place in CO by far! Biki has always taken amazing care of us, great service always with a big smile! Biki has even made us special hot sauces since we like our food spicy! He goes above and beyond to spoil us, it’s like we’re at someone’s home! Janae is the best bar tendress in town!! We love to chat new cocktail concoctions with her and came up together with an amazing tamarind mezcalrita that she just kills!!! No one else is shaking up the drinks like Janae! Girl works so hard to make every drink special! Thanks guys! -The Catalano’s"

"I came here for Mother’s Day, and it was disappointing. Seems the restaurant had trouble keeping up with the capacity or was unprepared. The food was bland and the deserts were limited. I have been here before on a non-holiday and it was excellent! This time, they bought cake from the grocery store versus variety traditional Indian dessert-lots of paper plates, cups and utensils. It felt like the emphasis was more about turning tables than holding the quality standard I know this restaurant is capable of. For $35 per person buffet, I think they could have done much better. Staff was great but overwhelmed. I suggest NOT going on a major holiday."

"First of all, I 'll admit that the vegan friendly selections on the buffet are delicious! I absolutely enjoyed the dosa, fried bread and a green bean dish that they have on their buffet (I don 't remember the Indian name for these dishes though . But my initial enjoyment of the food is as far as it goes. I really regret that I made a second trip to the buffet table to grab a little more of the green bean dish! As I was standing there waiting for someone in front of me to get their helpings of the buffet, a friendly little roach just politely sauntered to the edge of the serving pans of food (but not going in the food itself. I don 't think.. Though I tried to point out the little critter with as much discretion as possible to the apologetic server, mostly everyone in the line saw it! I just went back to my seat empty handed, not able to bring myself to get anything else. I thought to myself Okay, self..you 're from the hood, it 's not like you haven 't seen a roach in a kitchen before .. So I talked myself into finishing the little morsels I had left on my plate that I had before. As I was finishing up that food, I picked up my fork only to detect a hair that was slightly thicker than any human hair, more like an antennae. Yikes! a roach antennae! I paid the tab (against my friend 's wishes and walked out never to go in this place again. To each his own, so if you don 't mind a little roach essence in your food, it 's worth a try. (shrug .. "The enticing aroma of spices and the smoky flavor of the Tandoori meats beautifully complemented the vegetarian dishes. MENU: There's an extensive selection that caters to even the pickiest eaters, all while maintaining the authentic flavors of Southern Indian cuisine. NOTE: The service may come across as a bit shy, but it's friendly; be patient with the staff as they are genuinely gracious. This place is definitely a must-visit when you're in the area!"

"A new favorite Indian Restaurant in San Rafael. Truly excellent and decent portions of Asian Indian foods. Located in what was the Orgazma Pizza place, that closed a year or two ago. To us it was such a dirty place that we only went when the grandchildren were younger. In talking to the new owner of Lotus, I mentioned the location and he agreed that it was so bad that they gutted the interior and totally rebuilt the current, very classy and beautiful, award winning Lotus Indian Cuisine of India. The menu is extensive with many options in each category and all food is prepared when ordered so you are getting a fresh meal every time rather than coming from a previously cooked batch. The menu has descriptions of each offering, so you do not have to be an Asian Indian to understand what you are ordering. A lot of neat appetizers. I think I would like to nosh my way through a meal with friends consisting of appetizers! Likewise, lots of Indian breads. And we liked that you could order a selection of three to sample them. Curries: vegetarian, chicken, seafood, lamb and goat. Don't be afraid of goat as it is quite good in any of the rich curry gravies. Ditto lamb. Try. Clay Pit Oven baked Tandoorie selections and there are the rice Biriyani dishes. Also, Indian desserts and an array of non alcoholic beverages which include the heat reducing, delicious Lassis. A daily lunch buffett is offered from 11am 2pm. And take out is a regular part of their business. You can order, for an up charge, organic chicken and gluten free items. Ask your wait person. An excellent date place and they can do parties. We are so happy to see them in San Rafael. You will be happy also, when you experience the ambiance and excellent dishes."

"The flavors here are fantastic! We ordered butter chicken, chicken curry, and butter naan, and everything was delicious. They will ask you about your preferred spice level. Since it was our first visit, we opted for mild, which turned out to be quite gentle, so we'll definitely try something spicier next time. We will certainly return! The service was excellent, and they even offer complimentary mango soft serve, which was light and tasty. If you're looking to step away from the usual dining options in Jacksonville, this is the perfect spot!"

"We frequent this restaurant quite a bit. We decided to make an online order this time. I was unpleasantly surprised to find that by doing this instead of calling in. The priced are considerably higher. There is no information to let you know this. The way I happen to find out is when I went to pick up my order I grabbed a menu. I called the restaurant and was told, this is the policy of the owner because they use a 3rd party for online orders."

"We came here to celebrate my daughter's birthday. She is a vegan and was very happy with the selection. We let her order but added 2 delicious chicken dishes. The menu is huge so something for everyone! We have eaten here several times and have always been pleased with our dinner."

"Absolutely fantastic! I loved everything about this place—the food, the atmosphere, and the service! The staff was exceptionally polite. The food was incredible, simple yet packed with flavor. If you're in Atlanta, this should definitely be your go-to Indian restaurant! We ordered mushroom bhaji, chapati, stuffed paratha, mango lassi, and vegetable biryani. The interior is also neat and pleasant."

"Probably one of my favorite places to get Indian cuisine in the Seattle Area. One perk of this location in the University district, is that there is a parking lot adjacent to the restaurant itself (pay-to-park). The restaurant itself has a decent amount of seating. It has a very local mom and pops vibe, and feels like you 're at home having a meal. Their service is really good as well. If you have not had Indian food before, as always, try the Chicken Tikka Masala or Butter Chicken. You can 't go wrong. Their naan is so good as well! Probably one of the largest portions of naan I 've gotten in one order. Which pairs amazing with any of their dishes. Their prices are decent, and my request would be to get more pieces of meat in their dishes. The chicken is cooked so well, but just didn 't feel like there was enough for an order."

"Fresh and flavorful! A few of our selections were either not on the menu or modifications of the standard menu. We’ve eaten here many times… and this is never a problem. We are generally always pleased with the food and the presentation, and if there is ever a problem, though rare, it is rectified immediately. Don’t let this be the place you go just when you’re looking for out of the ordinary fare… it is simply a great example of fine dining. Period. "

"We were recommended to visit this restaurant by an Indian family who claimed every Indian restaurant in the metro area tried. They weren't wrong. It was the best Indian food we ate here in Seattle in our 30 years. The flavors of all dishes were remarkable and clear. We ordered our meal for the trip and drove 20 minutes home and the food well. Very recommended! I would give 5 stars if Happy Cow allowed. Call if you use the online menu as you need a guide to what is vegan. They told us dozens of articles are or can be made vegan."

"This is literally one of my favorite restaurants of all time. I come once or twice a month for sure — they are probably sick of seeing me! The owners/servers are always super kind to me when I’m there. Such hard workers they are. I typically go for the chicken tikka masala or the coconut butter chicken, garlic naan, and veggie samosas. Everything is always super consistent and well-executed. Give the masala chai a taste as well— they do a really nice job preparing it. These are the type of businesses I love to see thrive."

"Mixed feelings!. We stopped in for the buffet. I am new to Indian food so wasn't sure what to expect. Nice building, and friendly staff. The experience was just ok. I wasn't sure what I was eating, and our server was in a bad mood and wasnt up for explaining any of it. Some of it was really good, some was ok, and there was some that I did not like. If I had to order off of the menu I would not know what their specialty was or where to begin."

"The veggie korma, butter chicken, and pomegranate chicken were absolutely incredible. I can't get enough of the papadums served with chutney before the meal; they're simple yet bursting with flavor. We've tried various Indian restaurants, and this one is hands down the best. We live in Mount Vernon and happily make the 45-minute drive once a month just to enjoy this amazing food!"

"i can’t believe i’ve gone up and down peachtree so many times without finding out about this restaurant till now. the decor is quite nice and i love the open kitchen and bar in the front the beverage team is doing a great job! we ordered the chicken 65 and bhindi chaat which were great starters to share and quite delicious. for entrees, we shared the saffron butter chicken and the aloo gabi at a medium spice level, which was just perfectly spiced. i’ve been trying to find a good indian spot and am happy that everything was flavorful and seasoned well. on top of the delicious food is the service our server Naveen was attentive and went the extra mile into recommending what we should and shouldn’t have, and his recommendations definitely helped us a lot! He even told us the next time we come, they provide 2 hour parking next to the restaurant. the entire service team was friendly and approachable and did a great job! and on top of that is their extra details in service and atmosphere with features such as:1. the kitchen window showing the chefs making your bread fresh right in front of the dining room2. bags in the bathroom for women’s sanitary disposables and separate trash bins3. a large array of mirrors and portrait lights that provide a great photo op for you, your partner, or a group!i would gladly return again for more food!"
