"Stopped in on the way home for a pizza, bad mistake. Nova Ristorante, is the new name for the original Pizza Nova restaurant which has been at this location since 1963. Having grown up and also attended Winston Churchill Collegiate across the street, I've experienced Pizza Nova since the beginning. Ordered a specialty pizza, which took forever to arrive at our table and when it did, it barely hot (certainly not right out of the oven). First excuse, they had a lot of orders come in, second excuse the kitchen mixed up the order & made it wrong. The management offered a free appetizer on our next visit, but that coming back. We just asked them to discount of pizza, waitress said 50% but when the bill came only 30% (funny enough a free appetizer value would have been more than they allowed) but by now couldn't be bothered arguing, paid and left.Our waitress was pleasant and did her job well. Our Pizza Nova takeout location in Markham on Hwy 7 is great, and consistent."
