"This was our first time eating Firestone 's. We chose to go there because our two go-to restaurants were closed after the holidays. I ordered their French onion soup. My wife ordered the cheeseburger. The food came fairly quickly. The soup looked good and the portion was what I expected for a lunch soup. I 8Unfortunately that is where the good ends. I took only one bite of it because it was so extremely SWEET. I have had many bowls of French onion soup but never have I had a bowl that was sweet. My wife tasted it too and was shocked by how sweet it was. Her burger was large and quite rare inside. She prefers rare, generally, but this was almost too rare for her. She had asked for medium rare. This was almost cool in the middle. She had French fries, which were dark and quite mushy. I don 't mind that she does so I had her French fries for lunch. The waiter didn 't come back to check on us until my wife had eaten most of her burger but not the middle rarest bit . It was at least 15 minutes. He asked how our food was and I told him that I did not care for the soup, explaining that I found it to be extremely sweet. He said that of course it was was sweet, it was made with Vidalia onions and brown sugar ?! . He did not apologize or say anything like I 'm sorry you didn 't care for it, . They did remove its from our bill, at least. With regard to the ambiance of the place: it was quite loud, but we expected that, at least."

"My husband and I chose Kincaid Grill for our 15th anniversary after hearing rave reviews from friends. It’s in an unassuming strip mall. The place is clean and the tables are well-set. The staff is dressed neatly and professionally. The wall decor is cheesy—that’s about the only negative thing I can think to say. The clams we had as an appetizer were absolutely fantastic with their Asian flavors (lemongrass, ginger, coconut, kaffir like, and cilantro). We wanted to drink the broth from the bowl. My husband’s halibut was great, but the standout was the filet. Upon hearing that it was coffee-rubbed, I was nervous that it would taste like coffee. No—the chef knows what they’re doing—the flavor was exceptional. It was cooked medium rare to perfection. The mashed potatoes were a bit plain, but they allowed the meat to really stand out. The service was exceptional. My water glass did not dip below half full. Our dishes did not clutter our table for more than a minute or two, yet we felt we were afforded privacy. They gave us a dessert for free for our anniversary. I feel like this is the kind of place where, if they did mess anything up, they’d make it right and you’d want to return again. However, based on what we experienced last night, I’d be shocked if there was a misstep. Thank you, Regina, for a lovely evening! Dietary restrictions: Overheard a server saying most items were gluten free they can accommodate where possible."

"I usually don't complain in restaurants, but this place made the exception list. 1. The wine was advertised on its website menu that you use the QR code on the table to access as 2019 vintage for $64. The physical menu on the table that we noticed after we saw the online menu, said 2019 bottle for $72. When we asked what price was right, the waitress said the cheaper price was wrong and the higher price was correct. It's a bad start. If you are advertising 2 prices, you should honor the cheaper price due to the inability of the restaurant. We ordered the bottle anyway and when it came out, the waitress did not present the bottle that is normally okay, but the vintage was the 2021. The vintage is very important in a wine bar and in dealing with winemakers. The film was also not cut under the bottle ring and glued. Not a big deal, but again when it comes to wine people, after the right process of pouring a $72 bottle is important. Apparently, the waitress was not well trained. 2. We ordered food and the food was terrible, best decent. We ordered a flatbread and the floor was burned black, so burned everything you could taste. You took our bill, so whatever. We ordered a Cesar salad and it was extremely fishy. I understand that anchovies are used in dressage, but the whole salad tasting like fish and salad. That shouldn't happen. 3. When we talked to the manager about our concerns, she dismissed our problems with the price, the vintage and the casting process and said she could not help us. When we mentioned that the price on the website was advertised differently, she said that she would review it and adjust the price. She was mentioned that she was hesitating to help us because the bottles were already so low. I was in the service industry and the approach and hesitation to solve the problem was very disturbing and instead of diffusing the situation that it only annoyed us that they did not want to address their price question, false advertising bottle and untrained personnel problems. OVERALL... we had high expectations as it is a wine bar and has a 4 start rating, but I would not go back and with the amount of wine bars, cocktail bars and fantastic restaurants nearby, I would recommend everyone to check another place. This place missed the brand with food, customer service and product knowledge."
