"This review is for the purpose of providing what happened to me and my daughter after eating their food and not to ruin anyone's business. I just want to share this because it can be dangerous! I went here on10/4 and bought some fish, Laing, menudo, chicharon bulaklak and suman. After we ate the food few hours later we started feeling sick. My daughter and I had severe stomach pains and severe diarrhea and cramps. From 10-4 to 10-15 we were ill so on Saturday 10-14 we decided to call the hospital to see what's going since it's been going on for a while and got tested. Finally the results came back today and tested positive for salmonella! You decided to open a restaurant therefore it is your responsibility to make sure all workers washes their hands and properly clean the kitchen and make sure the meat is not being mixed with other food. I wouldn't want any other person to go through what we went through! And no we didn't eat anything else that day! Food contamination is very serious and it can lead to unfortunate events! This is not acceptable"

"We visited Roline last Sunday morning at random which was recommended by our companion because we have been craving for rice, dinuguan and halo halo. The place was so homey. The food and the atmosphere brought us back to our 'hometown '. In short, it tastes homemade (not commercialized). We met the owner and her children. The service is excellent. They went a long way. They don 't serve coffee but they made coffee for us. They have answered our craving for that. It was my birthday the day before and when they were informed about it, the halo halo was on them. Thank you Roline, you are indeed 'Filipino Enough ' with the food you served not too salty, not too oily, just the right amount of preparation. The dinuguan is super talaga!. The halo halo is very tasty and a work of art. But the best of all was the 'welcome ' we received from everyone when we entered and when we met the Chef and the owner of the place. For a few minutes it seems that we have met a long time ago. A little bit more and we would have found out we are relatives hahaha. What I like about the Chef is her authentic desire to really be authentically Pinoy in her cooking. To everyone who liked this page and your are craving for homecooked meal keep visiting them and support this restaurant by promoting it to your friends. See you in December"

"Our meal was terrible. The only saving grace was the appetizers. We had the lumpia and the pork belly and both were good. Two of us ordered the boneless short ribs. They came out overcooked, shoe leather like. One meal had a giant white hair in it that the waiter noticed when he put the plate down. They remade it but it came out moo'ing, so raw! I was not going to send it back so I picked at the sides. I love plain white sticky rice and Mac salad in Hawaii but this was awful. Somehow the rice was cold and the Mac salad was hot. I think it sat under the heat lamp while they were remaking it. Overall it was an overpriced tourist trap and I would highly recommend you eat elsewhere."

"Good and friendly service. I had pancit bihon guisado which tasted good but was heavy on the noodles and short on the other ingredients. For the amount of noodles there needed to be more of the meats and whatever else goes in that dish.I also had a halo halo and it was great. I dined in and they served the halo halo in a clear plastic cup with a long plastic spoon. They told me they didn’t have any glass to serve it in and I had to ask twice for a metal spoon. I don’t like having to ask twice. I explained to them that the plastic spoon is uncomfortably sharp feeling in my mouth. A metal spoon has smoother and less sharp edges.I don’t really have a reason to visit this restaurant again."

"came in there one day as they were advertising dairy-free smoothies on a sign at the window. i was very surprised to find that they carried vegan pastries! had a vegan banana bread (paid $3 for a huge chunk and a strawberry almond milk smoothie. the staff is very polite and friendly and are knowledgeable about the options their store carries. the baker that is usually there even asked about my veganism and if i’d like to try some of their other vegan options (sandwiches, smoothies! i now come in regularly for iced coffees and teas. so tasty! please visit when you have the chance. support a great business. edit 9/11: i have been coming here for a while and wanted to list out the vegan pastry options that i have tried so far: -date bars -banana bread -chocolate peanut butter bread"

"I visited this restaurant a few years ago and remembered enjoying my meal. However, during my recent visit, I was extremely disappointed with the food. The soda machine was not working and the shredded chicken tasted like it was cooked in unclean water. The salsa lacked flavor and the chimichanga was not even fried properly. The cheese sauce was flavorless and even my kids couldn't eat the chicken quesadillas due to the poor quality of the chicken. I would advise avoiding this restaurant."

"I enjoyed fast service at the restaurant, and the pork adobo I ordered was absolutely delicious! On a scorching day with temperatures over 90 degrees, the restaurant maintained a nice, cool atmosphere. During my visit, I noticed that many of the patrons were Filipino, which speaks highly of the authenticity of the food offered here. My only minor issue was that the lunch portion was quite large, but considering it was under $8.00, I didn't feel the need to mention it to the staff. After being in NYC for three days, I can confidently say this is the best meal I've had since my arrival!"

"After an 8-hour flight from a foreign country to San Antonio, TX, we finally discovered this gem of a restaurant, and we were starving! The name "Loco" means crazy, and "Moco" translates to booger, which gave us a good laugh. So we were excited to try it out! One of us ordered the ribs, and the other had the pork. Both dishes were fantastic! They had a bit of the spiciness characteristic of Tex-Mex cuisine, but with a unique twist that set them apart. Each meal came with white rice and gravy. The setup is more casual, with counter service and tables, but don't expect traditional table service. Be prepared to pay for drink refills, as there aren't any free ones like you might find in other places. Overall, it was a fast and affordable dining experience—definitely a winner!"

"Why this place is great: 1) Quality food, reasonable price, skill cooks, decent portions. 2) They do brown rice. If you ask them, you can get brown fried rice. First place I ran into in Seattle that will do this. And the fried brown rice is amazing. 3) In the Summer, about half of the seating is covered but open air. Probably the coolest place to eat in Seattle in July and August."

"You will NOT find a late night filipino spot in Vegas except for this one. There is a guard at the door, big and ominous but friendly as ever. He will not only check your ID but he will also let you know to keep your mask on unless you are eating/drinking. He 's the one to see you in and he 'll be the last one to see you out of the establishment at closing or when you 're just outside the door waiting for your uber to take you back across town. I absolutely did NOT ever care for sisig until I had theirs. I came to Kapuso for the first time on October 28, 2020 with some friends who 'd become regulars here. They insisted that their sisig was amazing and that I had to try it. I did and since then I 've been hooked to their lechon sisig. It is the one thing that I always want to order when I come here. The other thing that I always enjoy is their lumpia. I tend to squeeze lemon onto my sisig and have that with some steamed rice and go to town and feast on the good stuff. It really is so good. You have to try it for yourself to know. Service is always the friendliest. There is ample parking and it 's free. There is no cover charge. On Wednesday and Thursday nights there is a DJ, 2 actually. You have DJ Reckless and DJ A Ron spinning. They are quite a pair of characters. They are fun and definitely entertaining. If you ever have a chance to check it out, I hope you will give this spot a chance. It is a family run business and they definitely appreciate their patrons. They do a dang good job and this spot has come to feel like home for me. It 's a safe place and everyone here is so friendly. I have had the opportunity to help a friend set up for her birthday here as well. The staff were so sweet to let them decorate as they wanted. Some of the staff even helped out for no additional fees or charge. They also helped her set up a cake and gift table. They were so sweet. This is just another way that you know that this is a family run business. They aren 't out to rip you off. They understand and they really appreciate their customers, DJ 's shouting out thanks to their customers as well as the military patrons that support their restaurant. Those small things may be small but they make it a very special spot."

"This restaurant has an amazing atmosphere that truly feels like home. As soon as I walked in, I was welcomed by upbeat Hawaiian music and a friendly "aloha!" from the hostess. When I'm back home, my favorite dish is teriburgers, and this place certainly lived up to my expectations. The burgers tasted just like those from the local shops back home, and the prices are quite comparable! Overall, this is a fantastic spot that I highly recommend."

"I have been eating at Thelma’s for the past two years, and I think it’s finally time I leave a review. Thelma’s has my favorite Filipino food in Henderson, hands down. Their food is affordable, fresh, and super tasty. I always order the Any 4 Items plate. I like to get the Pancit Mix, the Pork Adobo, the Chicken Adobo, and Thelma’s Special.Their Pancit Mix is possibly the best Pancit I have ever tasted. Thelma’s Special is one of my favorites! If you love crispy pork belly with tomatoes and onions, this is the dish for you. The Pork Adobo and the Chicken Adobo are delicious as well. I also love the Banana Lumpia! I’m not even exaggerating when I say that they have the best Banana Lumpia I have ever tasted.If you’re looking for some delicious Filipino Cuisine, I definitely recommend checking out Thelma’s Filipino Restaurant. They have a huge selection of delicious items to choose from, and their prices are super reasonable."

"I visited this restaurant for the first time and had a fantastic experience. The food, service, and atmosphere were all excellent. They offer authentic Mexican cuisine, far superior to the fast-food options like Taco Bell. The restaurant features seating both indoors and outdoors, as well as in a lovely atrium. The staff is very welcoming, even to families with children. While they don’t serve alcohol, you can bring your own drinks, and they’ll mix sangria for you for a small fee."

"Saimin Says is definitely not a vegetarian restaurant (the sauces contain fish and the fried rice contains pork). However, they were so friendly and helpful in trying to figure something out for me, who happened to walk in for lunch after only glancing at the menu online. I ended up getting the Chicken Curry and Rice (without the chicken of course) and it was really solid. It had a Japanese curry base with Yukon gold potatoes, carrots, onions, and celery inside. The meal came with a cup of rice placed in a to-go bowl and a big soup container for the curry so I was able to try it out in the parking lot. Note that they're directly across the street from Golden International (near IKEA) in a large business plaza. It was initially a little tricky to find the right suite since there isn't a huge sign outside and most of the exteriors look alike."

"Was looking for a close by Filipino breakfast place and this place popped up. It's tough rating Filipino food because nothing compares to my mom cooking : I tried the Torta Talong eggplant/scrambled eggs, it came with banana ketchup on the side. And also, Bansilog boneless bangus fish, garlic rice, 2 eggs with vinegar on n the side. Though the food tasted a little bland, it still satisfied my cravings. I would rate this place 3.5 stars."
