"Halo Halo Cafe is a cozy family-run Filipino restaurant that just opened in Poway. We tried the Shanghai lumpia, pancit palabok, adobo chicken, and halo halo with ube ice cream. The service was very friendly and all the dishes were served at the perfect temperature and were full of flavor. Small place but great food. Always get the lechon kawali and bicol express. Made fresh so a little bit of a wait. Service is attentive and friendly. Halo-halo is pretty good. Ingredients look and test fresh. Love the bright colors of the Ube and beans. Not too sweat... Just right. Give em a try.
