"The family owned Indian restaurant is a 10/10 for my parents and me. The delicious food, serene atmosphere, and attentive service have made this our go to spot for authentic cuisine. Though it was our first visit, we managed to photograph several standout dishes, including the flavorful Tandoori Chicken, which was my favorite. As an eggplant enthusiast, I also thoroughly enjoyed their equally delicious Bainghan Bharta. Additionally, we highly recommend the Goat Curry and Chicken Tikka Masala both were exceptional. We look forward to returning with our family to see the kind, welcoming owners, Ms. Maya and Mr. Singh, once again. Thank you for the wonderful dining experience!"

"Reputed and well known Indian place... but recently began to notice the degradation in quality and service. Book an event for 250 people in rasoi iii....went for food tasting in rasoi ii. Excellent service and food tested much better this time. Very friendly people and service has been improved, I guess it was limited due to weekdays and quantity. Still one of the best names for Indian food. Will definitely visit again soon!!"

"it was Sunday and a long line to wait. first they have to order the food, then find a table, then they tell them their order number. I asked for the talli without milk, but that was not; an option. Instead, I had to order separate Vegi dishes and it made it pricy. the place was loud, kids run and scream, costumes that look into their plate to see how fast they eat so they can have their space. I'd ignore all this if it was good to eat. it was not so delicious that tasted all gobi, because the cauliflower is not so fresh. everything floated in oil, and it wasn't so much to eat. it is self-service and there is a man who cleanse the tables after leaving. I'm not coming back! there are other good Indian restaurants right next door."

"This is one of the best Desi Chinese restaurant in DFW. We absolutely love their food. They have lots of amazing dishes with a great taste like you are discovering delicious dishes. We had the sizzling chicken karahi with desi spicy fried rice which were fantastic. We recommend their grilled protein dishes with fried rice which is a great combination. We definitely recommend this place if you are into desi Chinese food. This place also gave a bar inside the restaurant. We definitely would be back again. Vegetarian options: There is a large vegetarian menu with lots of vegetarian dishes available. Parking: There is a huge free parking lot."

"I got this week out of here. next to the clearly marked menu and the basmati reis there is not much for this place. Not the worst off I ever got, but definitiw the worst Indian/Nepali food I ever got. I have two curries and the veggie samosas and everything beside the rice was crazy exaggerated by seasoning and salt. I am not a new Indian cuisine. I love it. but this place probably gave me the most overwhelmingly seasoned curry I've ever eaten. I ordered a medium and my lips were 20 minutes after eating in brand. that is not a problem, except it was so spiced and salted, I could hardly eat 1/4 of it. with the left I tried to serve with simple kite hill yogurt and threw in some sincean chik’n and it is still crazy salty and spicy. like I have to put in a completely cut potato to balance it. idk, if it was just a bad night, but I'm probably not going to be here again. it is also expensive."

"My friends and I visited this restaurant on a Saturday after a hike near Lake Tahoe. They were offering a buffet at the time. When I inquired about vegan options, a staff member kindly walked me through each dish that was vegan and even consulted with the chef for some he was unsure about. I was really impressed by his attention to detail! The majority of the dishes were delicious, with the samosas standing out as a highlight. The crust was perfectly flaky, not too hard, and the fillings were incredibly flavorful. Since it was a buffet, I ended up having about 5 samosas. The only downside was the roasted okra, which seemed to be overdone. Towards the end of our meal, the chef came out personally to speak with us and gather our feedback on the food. It turns out she runs the restaurant with her husband, who also works as a waiter. We had a fantastic conversation, and I made sure to mention the issue with the okra. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and I would love to visit again next time we're in the Tahoe area."

"I’ve been to India a couple times and have to say, this is one of the best authentically Indian restaurants in the city I’ve been to. The place is small and simply decorated but it’s all about the food and friendly service here and that’s where it really shines. Some of the dishes they have you wouldn’t find at most other Indian restaurants. The chicken PB 35 was a new one for me but such a beautiful marriage of flavors. And for other more typical dishes like saag paneer they give it their own spin preparing in that case a wonderful, almost rustic home style version that’s both familiar and new. My only small complaint was that the fish curry was a tad on the salty side, but the flavors were still very much on point. I’ll be back! One final note They don’t serve alcohol but a sign on the door says they allow BYOB if you care to bring your own. Another plus in my book!"

"I absolutely adore the food at this restaurant. They offer a great selection and the staff is always incredibly friendly. I also appreciate that they cater to gluten-free options, which is important to me. The service is top-notch, with a rating of 5 out of 5. The overall atmosphere is also quite nice, with a rating of 4 out of 5. The average price per person for dinner ranges from $20 to $30."

"Though the food was good, I would not eat at Bollywood Tadka again because the service was so poor. I was ignored upon entering the restaurant though the restaurant was practially empty. They seated an Indian couple who came in after me before they even acknowledged me. When I was finally seated, it took a while to get someone to take my order and I finally had to get up, walk to the counter and ask for my check in order to leave. Food, no matter how good, could never get rid of the bad taste this place left in my mouth"

"Very disappointing. I ordered ahead of time, got there and was told it would be another 5 mins. Waited an additional 15-20 mins..when I went to the car, the food was cold. They made me wait for cold food. When I got home, the container of chicken Biryani looked half empty and the sauces were half filled. The food had to be reheated by the time I got home (I live 2 mins away from the restaurant) Overall the service was not great, but the food was edible after reheating. Price was super expensive and was not worth the amount that they give you. Will not be visiting here anytime soon."

"Food was very good. Ordered the shrimp pakora, it was crispy, not greasy, and came with several interesting sauces. Chicken korma was very good and flavorful. Chicken Tikka was a tad dry, most of the veggies stuck to the hot plate, but flavor was very good. Note, it was not served with a side of sauce like it is at most places. Garlic kulcha was cooked well, not burned, could use a bit more garlic. Rice was nice and fluffy.Price was very reasonable, especially for the area.Staff were very nice and frequently asked how everything was. There is some outdoor seating. Note, the location is down a flight of stairs, which may be an issue for anyone with mobility issues.Definitely recommend and will go back."

"The food was not fresh at all. I ordered for pickup right after they opened at 5 PM, and it looked like it had been microwaved. It definitely seemed like leftovers from the night before. Even the rice was clumpy and had a slightly stale smell. I called to inquire about it, and the woman on the phone assured me that everything is made fresh. There's no way that's true; I know what old food looks like, and this was not fresh at all."

"I was disappointed to find that this restaurant does not offer any vegan alternatives, such as coconut cream instead of cow's milk cream, to make a vegan curry. Instead of accommodating vegan requests, they insist on offering options that are already vegan and refuse to make any modifications. I have been to Indian restaurants that are able to substitute coconut cream or other vegan alternatives, allowing customers to order any dish on the menu. The fact that this restaurant is unable to do so is quite surprising. They should consider hiring a new chef who is more accommodating to dietary restrictions and custom orders. For example, when I suggested they could simply omit the cream from a dish if they did not have a vegan substitute, they still refused. This is concerning, as they should be able to accommodate customers with allergies or dietary preferences. Until they become more customer-friendly in terms of nutrition and lifestyle choices, they do not deserve a positive review."

"Went for Sunday dinner and it was empty we were the only table. We were a little hesitant but the food was amazing. For apps we had the samosa chop (tasted good but presentation was mid) and the momos which were an upsell from the waiter but was outstanding! For the main plates we had the butter chicken, tiki Marsala and the lamb vindaloo. Best dish of the night was the lamb vindaloo but the tiki Marsala was a little bland. Garlic Naan is always a hit. Definitely recommend going to this place if you were on the edge!"

"My friend had never had Indian food before and wanted to give it a try. I told the waiter that she was in Indian food virgin and they were very helpful. We had a combination lunch that included salad, rice, naan and a choice of one vegetarian and one meat entrée. Our food was delicious. We had chicken tiki masala and garbanzo beans. The owner came over to our table and spoke with us and he couldn't have been more gracious or welcoming. We had a one and would definitely come back again. The only issue I had was that it was a hot day and the restaurant is kind of open air so there was no air-conditioning. I probably would not come back in the summer."

"My favourite Indian in the area. This time, I said for the price difference, may as well come for dinner. As I have said, I drive forty minutes each way because I have loved it so much. But after finding and loving this place for over four years, itends tonight. The food is always very good. I consider it the best Indian in the DMV area. But first lunch went up in price, and tonight I decided to treat myself to dinner, as for the price difference it seemed best to enjoy the larger dinner portionsfor a little more money. The waitress was pushy and kept trying to rush our dinner and asking no sooner than the samosasarrived if we were ready to order the main dish. I told her we would order after we finished appetizers and we were out to enjoyour company, not go to a McDonalds and order, eat, and run. Then the food came. Portions have shrunk. Lamb Vindaloo had at mostsix LITTLE pieces of lamb and ONE small little round piece of potato for a DINNER PORTION??? WHAT??? The rice seemed a verysmall portion too. Barely halfway way up the serving dish. Half way through our meal a lovely and sweet Indian couple came in.The ordered alcohol which we did not as we don't drink alcohol. We exchanged pleasantries with them as they seemed veryadorable. When their meal came out they were two just like us, but no meat entree as they might be vegetarian like mycompanion tonight I saw they ordered a Briyani, and another bowl with Basmati rice. However I couldn't help but notice howtheir rice was heaping and a very generous portion. Twice what we got for two. Having order Dal Makhani and Lamb Vindaloo. Ihave drive for forty minutes each way as it was always a place I felt treated like a king. Fair prices and a lot of food. Buttonight the love affair is over. I could always count on ordering an entree at dinner and having enough to take home for thenext day. Even when sharing!!! Tonight's Lamb Vindaloo, was delicious yes, but very meager portion. Thank God m"

"Wait staff was unattentive to our needs. We expressed that our food could not have dairy in it, and wound up with two wait staff disagreeing at the table regarding whether one of the dishes had dairy in it or not. Order mixed pickles and they weren't delivered. Told our waiter I wanted a diet coke...saw that he wrote coke on his pad and asked him twice to make sure it was diet...and they brought out regular coke instead. Waiter handed out menus and not two minutes later asked if we were ready to order...seriously??? Hovered over our table, anxious to remove plates before we were finished...very awkward experience on a not so busy night. Won't be back here anytime soon."
