"First time visiting this restaurant. Initially was a little skeptical cause the floors are in rough shape . But we wanted to try somthing different. Staff was great though everyone so friendly and attentive. Food for most part was a hit . The only dish that was not really enjoyed was the mac n cheese....maybe off day but seems like it was sitting or reheated. Noodles were mushy and cheese sauce was a little grainy..noone ate more than one bite . That being said the rest if the food was very good. I highly recommend fried chicken salad sandwich. By far best I have had. Perfectly made. All they need is to get floors cleaned and waxed and replace a few ceiling tiles then atmosphere would be 5 stars for me ."

"The food was excellent , our bill was $37 for very good firecracker burger , ECU burger fries , coleslaw side tea, but the location on Smythewyck drive has a waitress that served us , a young very pretty petite black woman with her hair pulled back in a ponytail that may have scammed and used my debit card on 6-18-24 with a purchase made at SHEIN website for $70.04 .I received a fraud alert on my phone this morning from Truist about 4 AM . I say it is you cause I haven’t used that card anywhere else you used a mobile device for the food charges, showed me our order, also pointed out the gratuity I could use . Be aware as you did act suspicious with us as our server , I did not ask for a receipt which I should have and your customer service will decline because of one employee and if it was you and you made fraudulent purchases with my card number you do not care about others . Be aware young lady you are being watched I will not be going back any time soon to this establishment !"

"Waitress trying to train someone else but still couldn't complete the task. There were 4 of us. The restaurant was kind of busy but not full. We ordered a club wrap with cheese tots to split. My grand daughters got their food, a salad and chicken quesida. Still no food. Finally they brought our food but it never made it to the table because they forgot the cheese on the tots. So, back to the kitchen. A few minutes later our food comes out. But wrong. It came out as a sandwich. Not what we ordered. I brought it to their attention and she offered to make us the wrap. Seriously, my grand daughters were almost done. The waitress said that she would try to get a discount. Wow! 10% off. I always liked grubs but now that has changed."

"My husband discovered this barbecue restaurant that offers a wide range of dishes. I tried the chicken street tacos, and they were delicious. My husband ordered the chopped brisket sandwich and enjoyed it as well. The service was outstanding. My only concern is that it's a bit far from my home, but I definitely plan to return. As for parking, we had no trouble finding a spot."

"The kids' menu was impressive, offering the basics with an emphasis on freshness and flavor. My iced tea was strong, just how I like it—dark and robust. I had a substantial chicken quesadilla filled with grilled meat and just the right amount of peppers, avoiding the common Tex-Mex issue of being overloaded with cheese. My wife and mother-in-law enjoyed their grilled chicken enchiladas, topped with verde sauce and drizzled with goat cheese. They were tender and easy to cut with a fork. Personally, I would have preferred a rojo sauce (assuming that was an option), but that's a minor detail. For families, there are fountains for the kids to enjoy outside during the summer—just be sure to bring towels!"

"We got there and the lady wasn’t very polite, we did get our order taken right away. After receiving our plates she never came back. I understand when your busy and there’s a lot of people it’s sometimes impossible but it was only us. There wasn’t any napkins in the table. The food was ok (my order) but I guess ordering chilaquiles (my friends order) for dinner wasn’t the best option. The tortillas where semi wet and it’s wasn’t good. This is my 3-4 time going and it’s always cold so suggest to have a sweater if your dining. The food use to be good but now is like 4/10. Some items do have huge portions so you can say it’s not bad for the price. Hopefully they can use this to raise the politeness and have a better costumer service. Lastly, please do a little cleaning after people leave. Some tables still had food and garbage. Napkins in the seat and utensils on the floor."

"Ok so I was quite torn on this find. Its an epicly placed, lakeside restruant and bar. The menu is actually really good and fairly priced. The food oit of the kitchen was GREAT. Its well portioned in size and the quality of what we ordered was impressive. We were all very happy with our meals. The view cant be beat and the general theme is really fun, especially for the lake. Our contention for the place was only 2 things: 1) The service, at least our service this time, was sluggish, slow and unrefined. Perhaps it was isolated, we will come back abd try again. 2) the place is in need of a bit more maintence. It needs a new coat of paint. Yank some cobwebs down. Clean the inside up a bit. Pressure wash. Clean up the landscaping. And reboot that worn out kids playground. Honestly I really, really like the place. My impression was that someone built this place and just does not have the right staff to cater to people and maintain things. The food was EXCELLENT. They have a floating bar over the damn water the place is amazing. It just needs a little love."
